Well...as far as baseball books... The Cobb biography is still the single most interesting book I've ever read about anything. It's haunting.

Well my vote will go to Nirvana. For those keeping track...that means I actually like them more now than any other time I've posted about them. There was a time when I would have written them off as below average...but every crappy band that has come after them is actually worse. That means they can be the Mendoza line for music

Brian Moorman was screwed for the third year in a row. ... Look I know he's a punter....but watching him drop bombs into the ridiculous wind this year was the most amazing thing I've seen on the field.

It can't get worse. At least not worse than last year. It took the stupid computer until AFTER the bowl games to come up with the same top 2 that any sane football watcher had BEFORE the games were played. Thanks for nothing. Stupid Computer.

Well you can always count on Favre for a terrible throw when you don't need one. If his recievers aren't able to make great plays on the crap he slings out there...he can just look downright bad.

It's been beaten to death...but the NFC is just terrible. This is the 3rd best team they have...being beaten by 2 scores at home in winter by the...7th or 8th best AFC team. And lets not even start on the rest of the NFC.

SOOO happy that Deadwood got noticed. Especially McShane. Also...Eternal Sunshine was so great that I'm happy to see it on the list. Carrey OWNED that movie. More than anything else he's done.

Now that you mention it... I can kind of see it.

I don't even want to think back to the start of this season. 0-4. 0 and FREAKING 4. Nate doesn't knock down a 4th and whatever pass in the opener and they score with 0 seconds left to win. We get an apology letter from the league for week 2...apologies for: A Henry TD that was incorrectly called short. A Safety that was called not a safety and a penalty on a Nate punt return to the Oakland 14 that didn't exist. 9 points and the ball in the redzone in a game we lost by...3 I'm just amazed they were able to turn this all around and have a winning record at this point.

I went to the Bills game. Still trying to wrap my head around 17 total offensive yards allowed.
