  1. Well...none of that matters if he struts out on Friday showing no ill effects and not selling any kind of damage.
  2. I watch it later too (actually now) but there's usually SOME activity while the shows are going on. Just makes me think that there's nothing coming up on the show thats worth mentioning. And that kills my desire to keep watching a little.
  3. 2 posts during the show... Wow.
  4. That's a fine answer and all...but it begs the question as to why they'd book Punk vs. Edge. ... Is Punk even on the ppv after winning MITB?
  5. This all grew out of someone saying that it wasn't ok to like Springsteen more than the Beatles right?
  6. I couldn't believe they allowed that goal to stand. Lucky for the Caps Biron is still a shitty goaltender.
  7. Yeah. but I think it used to be 15 minutes wasn't it? I think that's right.
  8. ... I like Springsteen better than the Beatles.
  9. Jason Segal singing his self loathing song near the end of the movie made me laugh harder than anything I can remember in quite some time.
  10. The no death threat rule was years ago...and it hasn't been enforced in a long long time.
  11. Well...I just noticed it's been like 3 days that StevieKick's had to choose... So as I'm running out the door for work just give me Use Your Illusion 2...since it'll make my OCD happy to have both.
  12. What did he say about TNA? Just that he went to work there for a while?
  13. Undertaker vs. Sting (this is a must) Shawn Michaels vs. AJ Styles (Like HBK vs. Shelton was laid out) MVP vs. Kurt Angle (I want Angle against someone that hasn't been done to death...and i love MVP. I think it'd rock) Finlay vs. Samoa Joe (YES. YES. YES.) That's as far as I'll go for now. London/Kendrick vs. the Machineguns seems good...as does Beth Pheonix vs. Kong and Mickie James vs. Gail Kim. Everyone else I'd have to think about. Just give me Finlay/Joe!
  14. The Cars' self-titled album... YES.
  15. See...this is where everyone else is wrong and Truthiness is right, as always: NO ONE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO BE CONSIDERED GOOD UNLESS VINCE MCMAHON PUT YOU IN THE MAIN EVENT SCENE AT SOME POINT. Just remember this simple rule: JBL: Main Eventer Samoa Joe: Fat Now continue your regularly scheduled discussion
  16. And you feel he did a "fine" job relaying strategy, character and what role the match plays in the overall story?
  17. Random video selections:
  18. Week 3 of TSM Profile is here...and what better time to dissect this guy than right now? Samoa Joe Name: Samoa Joe Height: 6'2'' Weight: 290 Age: 29 TNA Debut: June 19, 2005 Accomplishments: TNA World Heavyweight Champion, TNA World Tag Team Champion, 3x TNA X Division Champion (which makes him the 3rd TNA Triple Crown Winner along with Kurt Angle and AJ Styles (who's done it 3 times)), RoH World Champion, RoH Pure Champion Background: Joe arrived in TNA right in time for the company's third anniversary and immediately dominated. He would win 2 X titles and claim the Super X Cup while feuding with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. By the middle of 2006, Joe looked to be on pace to become the face of TNA. Then...Kurt Angle showed up and derailed that plan. Angle would end Joe's 18 month unbeaten streak in their first match. Joe would defeat Angle the next month and the two would continue feuding on and off forever. In the meantime...Joe would capture another X division title and the TNA World Tag Team Titles. He would then...again...lose everything to Kurt Angle. Joe finally defeated Angle to capture his first TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown. Points for Discussion: Well...Joe is finally the top dog in the company...what would you like to see his title reign look like? What opponents would you like to see challenge for it...and how would you book it to end? What were Joe's best matches in TNA so far(as an Xdivision performer and then as a heavyweight)? How did you feel about Joe's run in the X division? Does it bother you that he never lost to any of the X division guys when he clearly had a rub to give to someone on the way out of the division? It would appear that Angle vs. Joe is something that TNA is going to keep circling back to every so often so in the end they'll have ended up feuding for years...do you like the idea of two guys who are lifelong enemies or should they just keep them apart since it's already been done?
  19. The only thing I really even remember about the end of WCW Saturday Night was that Shark Boy was the shit. WCW Saturday Night Shark Boy was tremendous.
  20. I'm not going to restart the argument over the current ECW title. I've left those views in a previous thread. but I will say that including anything from the NWA title in between the time WCW cast it off and TNA put it back on TV is another time period I'd cut out. Severn would go long stretches without defending it...it had no TV or ppv exposure anywhere...and if that's not enough... Mike Rapada. Twice.
  21. I agree...but I just knew if I didn't type that SOMEONE was going to go monkeyshit at some point.
  22. Taste in comedy is the most unique taste there is. I think Ed Wood is the funniest movie ever made, for example. I think every single line it that movie is hysterical. I also liked Knocked Up and Superbad...and Major League for that matter. But some comedies like Blazing Saddles or Raising Arizona I just don't think are very funny movies. It's just a taste thing.
  23. I was never a big fan of them. Then I got dragged to a concert and Weilend absolutely blew me away. I still don't really listen to their albums...but man I would go see them in concert again.
  24. Definitely. Dutt has a lot more to offer as a character than the one he's playing. I'd love to see him just lose it on Lethal (especially if it's done in a way where you kind of understand why he's doing it). Plus...the matches would be good.
  25. He's storyline gone. They're letting him freshen up and then bringing him back. He'll be in the game. Senshi is a question mark. He and Dutt did motion capturing...so you'd think they were meant to be in the game...neither has been announced and he left the company. If I had to guess... they'll probably take him off but leave his moveset for CAW. There are 25 wrestlers and 18 have been announced: 1. Sting 2. Kurt Angle 3. AJ Styles 4. Christian Cage 5. Samoa Joe 6. Booker T 7. Abyss 8. Jay Lethal 9. Christopher Daniels 10. Eric Young 11. Homicide 12. Hernandez 13. Chris Sabin 14. Alex Shelley 15. Rhino 16. Tomko 17. Scott Steiner 18. Jeff Jarrett That leaves 7 and the people that I see as guys you'd figure are in: Brother Ray, Brother Dvon seem obvious. Nash seems likely. I'd like to see James Storm and Robert Roode since their regularly pushed guys... That leaves Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt, Kaz, Sharkboy and everyone else fighting for the last 2 I guess.
