Promo: “Emotive Words and False Analog”

Promo: “Emotive Words and False Analog” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: The scene witnessed by the viewing audience is meant to be exclusive to those over the age of 18. Originally set to appear on Lockdown this interview was taped, allowing the SWF to cut it from it’s live broadcast. Due to high demand and the imperfection involved in Family Friendly television, the SWF has posted this clip on their website, www.SWF.com. Due to it’s mature content, the SWF once again strongly asks for those under 18 to not view this footage. ======================================= It’s the day before Lockdown, and at the command of the almighty ratings and the wrestling gods that worry more about merchandise than emotion, Benjamin Hardy finds himself in an abandon warehouse somewhere on the outskirts of Columbia. Rusted, black, and complete with a paint job created by mold, the warehouse just screams of the pain and suffering it has gone through. No doubt that the abandoned building could have been a luxurious castle in an earlier life, but do to the mistreatment of others, it has instead regressed to the home of rodents and slime. Not a soul in the universe would dare hold a professional interview in this horrid barn. In other words…it’s perfect. Pacing from side to side, the embarrassing sight of Ben Hardy shaking nervously releases a brand of entertainment for the restless camera crew not seen in years. Used to filming the worst of the worst, Hardy’s crew practically sets up a SWF stage as they patiently wait for the interviewee. “Where the fuck is he?” Yeah…real patient. Soon one member of the disgruntled crew’s question is answered with the loud squeaking of the historic entrance. The lack of substance in the lights creates a look of wonderment over the crew until the shadowy figure is close enough to identify. Covered in a particular outfit of street clothes that range from jeans to a sweater. Coincidentally the professional wrestler incognito has chosen to prance around in this particular sweater on a special day… …A day where it’s over 80 degrees. “What is with the dark colors?” Whisper Ben Hardy at the cruiserweight prospect. Scanning the building, the individual with the unique persona takes a seat to start a taped interview that is to be shown on Lockdown. “Hardy, I much congratulate you on this location. It’s in the middle of nowhere and it’s incredibly dark. I figured you would be good at choosing places that nobody wants to be one hundred miles from, let alone do an interview here.” “Well, Zyon, I was just following the orders given to me from Joseph Peters. He didn’t want another attack on you before Battleground.” Analyzing the area one last time while blocking out Hardy’s meaningless drivel, Zyon takes a moment to relax. … … “Ok guys. I’m here to please those with the power,” The youth sarcastically announces as his hatred for the business area of the wrestling business continues to boil over. “Camera.” “Check.” “Lights.” “Erm…yeah kinda.” A professional group indeed. “Ok…5…4…3…2…1…and go.” The main camera rolls on to the panicky face of one Benjamin Hardy. Flashing that extremely lame grin that opens most of his interviews, Hardy uncharacteristically gets to the point. “Tonight, I am with the man that will face ‘Hollywood’ Spike Jenkins at Battleground. I am of course speaking about the ‘Unique Youth’, Zyon,” Hardy gives the camera a chance to loom over the annoyed youth who hides it well. “Now for many months you were friends with Spike until he recently went berserk and attacked you viciously with a pipe. Recently, he continued his demented mission to…well to…” Zyon decided to help Hardy on his stuttering, “He wants to kill me, Ben.” The frankness of Zyon’s tone sends a chill throughout the barn. “Yes, that’s it. Well, to make sense of such a situation as this one. Spikes’ actions took a dive for the dark side when you said you had a special announcement. Tonight in an SWF exclusive, could you please reveal what that announcement was going to pertain to?” Relaxing back in his uncomfortable chair, Zyon speaks. “Ben, I first started teaming with Spike a little bit before Genesis. I was still inexperienced. At the time, I was happy to just be on the card! Leading into Genesis, Spike Jenkins was at war with Tom Flesher and Creative Control. Everyone ousted him backstage because of his actions in Revolution Zero. The thing was, I only saw what Spike did on TV. I wasn’t here. I couldn’t judge him. Besides, I was nobody. Why would he care if I ignored him? So I opened up to him. We were booked together against Landon Maddix and Jay Hawke…and we won! That was the night our friendship started. Spike helped me move up the ranks, scoring win after win. And I opened up to him. I became his friend. The only person he had to talk to, the only person who had his back. We were unstoppable!” “So, what happened?” “I guess…I got greedy. I kept climbing the ranks, while Spike slowly started to drift. He beat Tom Flesher, but then he lost to El Luchadore Magnifico. From there, he was on a losing streak. But he still gave me advice. He still helped me with my game. I kept winning while the man who was teaching me kept losing…and I didn’t care! I was only worried about myself. Then came Ramadomination…Spike and me had a “friendly” match…and I won. After this, I went on to beat JJ Johnson for the Cruiserweight Title…and Spike continued to lose. But I didn’t care!” “Zyon…this isn’t going where I think it is…” “At Clusterfuck, I eliminated Spike after he spent weeks promising victory! He put himself in the number one spot and I eliminated him! I cost him the match! Then he asked me for a Cruiserweight title shot and I blindly said no. I didn’t want to ruin our friendship…but I didn’t see it at the time. I already did that.” “Zyon, you can’t blame yourself for the demise of your friendship with Spike Jenkins.” “Why not? I’m the cause of all his problems. I don’t blame him for snapping. I caused it! I don’t blame him for wanting to kill me! I killed his career!” “Zyon, this wasn’t your fault. Spike is a mental case…” “And it’s because of me! I ruined our friendship because of my greed! I sent Spike over the edge.” “Zyon…well…what was the announcement you wanted to make?” “I realized the error of my ways and I wanted to make it up to Spike. A couple of weeks ago, I asked my girlfriend to marry me…and she said yes…” “Congratulations!” Zyon gives Ben an evil glare and continues his story, “My big announcement wasn’t something that would upstage Spike or make him look bad…I wanted…I wanted my best friend…Spike Jenkins…to be the best man at my wedding…” “That was the big announcement? You wanted Spike Jenkins to be your best man?” Zyon nods. “Wow…I…I don’t know what to say…and he attacked you with a pipe…giving you a concussion before you were able to ask him…” “After getting hit with that pipe, I had a serious concussion. I couldn’t sleep for days…it was horrible,” Zyon looks down at the ground and scratches at his eyes, obviously distraught over something, “The day after I was put in the hospital by Spike…my girlfriend flew down to see me…she said she couldn’t stand to see me like this and that she had something to tell me,” Zyon pauses again to take a deep breathe, slightly turning red, “My girlfriend was cheating on me…she didn’t want to marry me…she gave me the ring back and left…I haven’t seen her since…as soon as I got out of the hospital, I called some members of CC and asked to be booked…and I flew out to the show…I haven’t been home since.” “I…don’t know what to say…” “And since I’ve been back, Spike has done nothing but try to end my life…and I don’t blame him. Things have been a mess lately…my best friend, my girlfriend…sometimes it becomes too much…but I realize that it can only get better. It has too…all I want is for the attacks to stop. I blame myself for our friendship being destroyed…but I can only take that so far. Yes, I should have given Spike a title match when I had the chance. Yes, I should have given more to the TLC match…but I didn’t. There is nothing I can do about it now…” “Zyon, we have to wrap this up. Is there anything else you would like to add?” “I don’t know what happened to Spike, Ben. But I can only blame myself for it…but…I just want it to stop…I just want him to stop…I…” … … … “WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE!!!” yells a cameraman. Breaking the silence, the crew scrambles for safety as they watch Zyon’s life skip a beat. Scratching and clawing at his neck, the youth begins to piece together what is happening… …He’s being choked… …by piano wire… …SPIKE!!! Overwhelmed by the straight edger’s sneak attack, Zyon’s vision begins to blur. However, his ears are working remarkably well…especially when being screamed at. “I’M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!” The demon disguised as Spike Jenkins pulls back on the wire, as Zyon’s flesh begins to rip open slightly. Blood trickling down his neck, the Unique Youth might have gasped his last breath… …if it wasn’t for the security that was waiting outside. Forcing the deranged straight edger away from his victim, Spike continues to wale on about his attentions. “YOU CAN’T RUN FROM ME! YOU’RE A DEAD MAN!!!” Even in the confines of the barn, Spike’s sick verbal wishes continue to echo like a spellbinding hymn. Lacerations around Zyon’s neck drip the red liquid that no man wants to see in front of his face. Rushing Zyon away from the area while Spike is held in captive by the half dozen security members, Zyon can’t help but over hear the panic. “How the hell did he get in?” “I don’t know…he must have been in here before we got here…” Spike knew where Zyon was going to be... He knew… (Credit: Zyon)

Because they aren't the only two are doing a really good job right now. Kayfabe wise, why should Landon and JJ be the two in the title match? Zyon has been on a hot streak, Akira has been on a hot streak. Hell, up to a few weeks ago, Bruce has been undefeated or something. The Zyon/Spike feud is a hot thing right now, why not insert the World Title into that? How about Bruce/IL? Why should CC choose Landon and JJ over everyone else? If they wanted to make an angle out of that, where the whole locker room feels threatened by this and everyone feels the need to prove themselves, then okay. But its not. It's just two guys, with no build, getting a title match. Personally, I don't care since I already have plans set.

Promo: “Traitors Never Play Hangman; AKA: What You Missed on Storm” -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As SWF Storm continues, a sore “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins walks through the hallway, clutching his back after taking a beating from Landon Maddix. Holding a piece of paper in his free hand, Spike walks up to a door and without knocking, swings it open. Jenkins walks into the locker room to find none-other than “The Hell Machine” and Head of SWF Security, Janus doing some pre-match stretches. “I heard you wanted to see me…” says Jenkins. “You could have knocked.” “I heard you wanted to see me…” says Spike again, with a little aggravation in his voice. Janus stops stretching and looks over at the scrawny-in-comparison Jenkins, grinning slightly. “Yes, we do want to speak to you.” “About?” “Well, for starters, you attacking people left and right…namely Zyon and Mak Francis.” “Do you have a problem with me doing that?” Spike says sarcastically. Janus takes a step towards the Hollywood Superstar, trying to intimidate the Cruiserweight. “Yes,” he growls, “WE do.” “Well…” Spike says, as he takes a step closer to Janus, “What exactly do you plan on doing about it? What you did to Landon? You want to show off your strength and pick on someone smaller than you? Go ahead, big guy. But I really don’t think you want to make an enemy out of me. You saw what I did. I put a pipe to Zyon’s head because he wanted to embarrass me once again. He wanted to make me look like a fool. To Mak? Everyone knew that I was going to be the guy to take Mak Francis out. It was my destiny. I did what Zyon planned on doing. I broke the neck of the man that showed me the way.” Janus continues grinning as he stares into the now dark eyes of Jenkins’, “Spike, you completely misunderstood our position in this company. If things get out of hand, then we will get involved. What happened to Landon was strictly a case of shutting Landon up. You…you, on the other hand, we have plans for. As Head of Security for the SWF, I feel the need, as a friend of course, to warn you.” “Warn me? You think I’m scared of you?” “You very well should be…” Janus says with a straight face, “But all I am saying, is that if you don’t stop attacking people…something bad may happen.” “Is that a threat?” Jenkins asks as he steps closer to Janus, looking up at the giant Hell Machine with no fear in his face. Janus chuckles slightly, shakes his head, and looks back down at The New Straight Edge Sensation, “Spike, if WE wanted to do something, WE WOULD do something. We let karma take care of her own dirty work.” “Well, let me tell YOU something,” Spike says as he now steps only a few inches away from Janus. He lifts his hands into the air and uses his fingers as parenthesis, “ WE aren’t scared of THEM and WE will kick the shit out of YOU!” “After all these years and still as stupid as ever…” “If you plan on doing something, Janus, you better not even bother. No one is going to stand in my way, anymore.” “From what I saw, you just lost to Landon Maddix…” “Landon got lucky!” Spike shouts. “On Smarkdown, Landon Maddix went to a time-limit draw with Jay Hawke…” Spike looks up at Janus with a confused look, “So what?” “How about…on Storm…you wrestle Jay Hawke…one-on-one?” “Do you think I care?” “…In a submissions match.” “Listen, Mr. Head of Security, I am not afraid of anybody. Not Landon Maddix, not Jay Hawke and defiantly not YOU!” “You have someone waiting in the shadows, waiting for the right time to strike…you should be afraid of him.” Spike turns swiftly and storms out of the room, “I’ll kill Zyon before he gets his shot at me!” Spike stomps down the hallway, leaving The Hell Machine to get back to his stretches. Still grinning, he shakes his head… “I wasn’t talking about Zyon.” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After another successful night in the SWF, Zyon heads for the exit of the arena. Coming off a big victory over Amy Stephens, for once in the past month, he only has one thing on his mind and that is to shower and get some sleep. Zyon hasn’t been getting much sleep lately; personal demons have been haunting him to no end. His best friend has apparently lost his mind and attacked him with a pipe, sending him home with a concussion for almost two weeks. Not to mention other…“issues” at home. Things that he has been trying to get off his mind, trying anything to forget. A security official waves at him as he heads towards the door… …But a shadowy figure comes out from a corner, following Zyon… Zyon, completely unaware of the person, continues walking… …Until he feels his hot breath bounce off plastic and hit him in the face! “WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?” Zyon screams as he begins to struggle. The shadowy figure is “Hollywood” Spike Jenkins. Following Zyon towards the exit, the only thing in his hand is a simple plastic bag. Wrapping it over the head of Zyon, he pulls back on it, trying to suffocate his former best friend. Zyon struggles to fight Spike off, but Spike keeps his grip on the bag tightly as he pushes Zyon face first to the mat. “I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU! I’LL KILL YOU!” screams Spike. Zyon struggles on the ground like a fish out of water, as Spike kneels over him. Footsteps behind the two are heard as the security guard from before and a bunch of other guards run up to the two. Four of them grab Spike by the waist and drag him, kicking and screaming, away from Zyon. Three of the security guards pull the bag off of Zyon’s head, allowing the Unique Youth to get a good gasp of air. Leaving his former best friend choking on his own spit, coughing for air, and nearly vomiting, Jenkins is dragged out of the arena. “I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU! I’LL FUCKING KILL YOU!!!” This month just keeps getting worse and worse for Zyon…
