NYWC Results! Long Island, July 30th!
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to HollywoodSpikeJenkins's topic in General Wrestling
The worst part about that match is James Newblood tore open his bicep and will be out of action for most of a year. And they won't be releasing DVD's anytime soon (at least that I know of), but if you E-Mail them from the website, I'm sure you can order a VHS. -

Nope. I really just broke my hand a couple days before 13th Hour and had to have a cast on for 2-3 weeks.

I nixed Manson and Blazenwing. Why? Cause Blazenwing sucks and I was scared Manson wouldn't show. Did You Know? I carried the SJL on my back for 2 years. I lie. But the SJL was the greatest of times.

SWF Smarkdown returns from a commercial break as Spike Jenkins holds his neck in pain after taking the Caribbean Cutter from Wildchild in their previous match. An ice pack now on his neck and a towel over his shoulder, Spike walks towards the locker room disappointed. He felt he should have had that match…but Wildchild is a top athlete in the SWF…which makes it even more infuriating. Spike tries to reason that it was his first match in over a month and it was just rust. Nothing can make this day any worse… “…Hold it, right there!” comes the sly voice of Smarkdown Commissioner, Thomas Flesher. “What do you want?” replies the New Straight Edge Sensation, “You already got some payback…putting me in a match with Wildchild when you knew I wasn’t back at a hundred percent.” “I did enjoy you losing…but you obviously didn’t get ALL of what’s coming to you.” Spike moves forward, ready to attack his hated enemy…but is quickly cut off by JJ JOHNSON!! Johnson blindsides Spike from behind, knocking him to the cold, concrete floor of The Croke Park Stadium. Spike tries to get to his feet, but Johnson drives a flurry of kicks to the back of the head and ribcage, keeping the already fatigued superstar down. Johnson rolls Spike over onto his back and crouches down as he unleashes a multitude of punches to the forehead. Jenkins tries to shove Johnson away, but Johnson continues the attack, eventually peeling Spike off the ground. With a grip on the long hair of Jenkins, JJ drives Spike head first into a nearby door, nearly knocking it off its hinges!! Spike crumples to the floor, laying in the fetal position. A small cut has opened up on his forehead, as officials and road agents rush the scene and pull Johnson away from Spike. Johnson calmly walks over towards Flesher, who has a big smile on his face. “Very nice, Mr. Johnson,” starts the Superior One, “Now, finish the job at Ground Zero, and I’m sure we could work out a title shot for you on my Number One rated show.” Johnson nods in approval. He watches as Flesher inches towards the downed Jenkins, who is now covered by referees and road agents. “You want to make MY life hell? You little shit; do you know who I am? You are NOTHING to me!” shouts the SWF Hall of Famer, “You want to make MY life hell? Well, you better expect me to bring it right back!”

SWF STATS THREAD, Summer 2005 Edition
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Ace309's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Smarks Board Name: HollywoodSpikeJenkins Wrestlers Name: "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Height: 6'1 Weight: 220 Hometown: Hollywood, California Age: 23 Face/Heel: Arrogant, Cocky, Full of hate, wants to hurt everybody cause he was screwed over TWEENER. Leans more towards face cause of his feud with heels. Stable: None. Tag Partner: None. Ring Escort: None. Weapon(s): Anything he can get his little hands on. Quote: "Hollywood = Ratings." Looks: Caucasian. Medium build. Has dirty blonde hair, with red and black highlights through it. Wears yellow and black shorts that reach the edge of his boots when wrestling. Has his wrist and hands wrapped in white tape with a black X drawn over the back of each wrist. Wear’s a yellow and black sleeveless leather jacket to the ring, with a hood hanging over his head. Wears shin high black boots, with his right knee heavily taped up and a black “sXe” tank top to the ring. Looks wise, it's a mix between AJ Styles, CM Punk, and Jimmy Rave. Ring Entrance: When every light in the arena goes to full power as the Smarktron whites out. For a moment the only sound is that of a needle scratching over vinyl... And then *BAM* The crashing guitars of Lamb of God’s “Black Label” send a bolt through the crowd. The drumming sends a jolt throughout the arena, as the pace of the intro begins to pick up. Finally… “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH” The high-pitched scream of Randy Blythe breaks through the speakers as the bright white lights begin flashing at the entranceway. As the scream hits the crowd, Spike walks out wearing a black hoodie on, the hood covering most of his face. Spike drops down to one knee, leaving one arm to hang to the ground, while the other is firmly placed on his knee. After a few moments, Spike raises both arms into an “X”, symbolizing his Straight Edge life style. Spike rises to his feet and begins to make his way down the isle towards the ring. [Funyon stuff] Spike makes his way completely around the ring and rolls underneath the bottom rope. He continues rolling until he hits dead center in the middle of the ring. Spike rises to one knee and resumes the position he was in at the top of the entranceway. One arm hanging to the ground, the other placed on his knee. Finally, Spike rises to his feet. He quickly peels off the hood, releasing his blonde, dyed hair free. He puts his arms together, forming an “X” across his chest, again promoting his Straight Edge life style. Stats: ¯¯¯¯¯ Strength: 4 (Has trouble picking up anything more than 250 lbs. His strength doesn’t come into play unless he is in the ring with a cruiserweight.) Speed: 5 (Was a lot faster during his JL days and early WF run, but the adding of muscle mass and his knee injury that left him out for 3 months has made him slower. Can outrun heavyweights, but is still slower then most cruisers.) Vitality: 4 (Now that he has gone Straight Edge, his conditioning has improved. Able to take a beating, but will stay down from a finishing move.) Charisma: 7 (The fans love him with his laid back style as a face, but hate him when he is a cocky heel.) Style: Works the U.S. Independent Cruiser Style. A lot of head and neck work. He also has a martial arts background, which allows him to use his martial arts kicks. Signature moves: 1. Lariat (His big time Strike. If you've seen any ROH, think to basically Homicide's Lariat. ) 2. “The Minor Threat” - Spike holds his opponent in a “Rock Bottom” position, but drops down to his knees. This drives his opponent’s throat into Spike’s shoulder. 3. Yakuza Kick (Right up there with the Lariat.) 4. Roaring Elbow (Used mostly out of cockiness, but it should knock people down. Mostly cruisers. He packs a nice shot behind this.) 5. “The Strong Island Stretch” - Alex Shelly’s “Border City Stretch”/A Crippler Crossface, but with the opponents arm trapped behind the neck of Jenkins. 6. “Dangerous Wizard” - “Shining Apprentice”/Shining wizard but with a kick to the back of the head instead of a knee 7. “Phantom Neckbreaker” - Hurricane Helm’s “Running Neckbreaker”/Spike runs up from behind opponent, locks his arms around their head and drops down with a neckbreaker. Common moves: 1. STO - Used to change the momentum of the match. A quick, out of nowhere counter. 2. Low Ki's 2 Kick Combo + Knock Out Kick to Face - Opponent is standing on knees. Spike kicks them twice in the chest, backs away, and hits a final shot to the face. I’ve used this move in every match since my JL days, you’re damn right it’s a common move. 4. “The Last Dance” - Superkick 5. Hot Shot onto top rope 6. Soccer Tackle - Instead of having it used to set a move up, like by Toxxic; Spike uses it as a defensive maneuver. Used to slow down faster cruiserweights or to take big men down. 7. Open palm uppercuts to jaw or throat/Shotei’s. Rare moves: "Super Ego Trip" - "Destiny Hammer"/Diving Enzu Knee/Spike's version of Tom Flesher's Ego Trip. Ever since losing the Cruiserweight title to Flesher (who used the Ego Trip to beat Spike), Spike has decided to start using his version of the move to gain the attention of The Superior One. With the opponent crouched over, Spike comes off the top rope with a diving knee to the back of the head/neck. “The Ratings Grabber” - Rob Van Dam’s “Five Star Frog Splash”/ Old SJL finisher. Will bust it out on special occasions every now and then. We all know what it is. “The Highlighter” - The Rock’s “Rock Bottom”/ Old SJL Finisher. Will bust it out on special occasions every now and then. We all know what it is. “I Just Broke Your Neck” - Opponent is put in a powerbomb position, but with his arms double underhooked (Tiger Driver). They gets flipped up, but HSJ turns to his side in mid-air, having his opponent in a reverse DVD position, and drops them down in a Burning Hammer. Very Rare. Finishers: “The Ratings Crash” - AJ Styles “Styles Clash”/ Can only be used against Cruiserweights, or small heavyweights. Spike lifts the opponent up from a standing head scissors, holding him upside down. Spike places his legs over the opponents hanging arms and drops down, driving his opponent face first into the mat. Spike then rolls over, and holds his opponent down with a sunset flip-esq pin. “The Silver Lining” - “Dragon Clutch”/With the opponent lying on their stomach, Spike sits on their lower back. He wraps his right arm around their throat, then locks his left arm over his opponents left arm and pulls back with a Dragon Sleeper. Usually set up with the “Clean Living”. “Clean Living” - “Roll the Dice”/Reverse Front Face Lock Swinging Neckbreaker/Formerly the “Roll the Joint” -
Isn't Monty waiting for the WWE to give him an offer?

ME for next month's PPV
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
If this leads to Jarrett throwing people at Raven (Rhino, other rejects, whoever) and Raven going over them and then beating Jarrett, I'm all for it. I doubt it will go down that road, though. -
I predict Shane, Shelly, Shocker, and Dutt all job in the first round. Joe and AJ go over Sabin and Petey and Joe over AJ in the Finals.

Why is Samoa Joe in the X Division?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to zyn081's topic in TNA Wrestling
If this was ROH...yes. But he has to be built up in TNA first. They are sort of doing that with the X-Divison guys and getting good matches and him choking them out. He's the X-Divison Bully. -
Why is Samoa Joe in the X Division?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to zyn081's topic in TNA Wrestling
What would you rather see? Samoa Joe vs. Chris Sabin/Chris Daniels or Samoa Joe vs. Konnan/Lance Hoyt? At least he gets some good matches out of it. Didn't his match with Abyss in IWA-MS (I believe they had one or two) suck?
