I just finished reading the Smarkdown card thread. I have a lot of things to say... Johnny, this is for fun. What the hell is with this temper tantrum? Do you not understand why people here don't like you? You take all the fun out of it by bitching. Who cares if you Main Event Battleground (or G5...) and if you are world champion or not? The whole point of this fed is to have fun. I am not main eventing Battleground. I'm not getting a world title shot. Hell, I'm most likely going to be slaughtered by ???. But in the past few weeks, I actually had FUN writing. It's been the first time in a long time. It was fun coming up with a storyline to add more prestige to the number one contendership. I suggested the feud with Mak, presented it to Toxx/Flesher/Mike; we bounced ideas off each other. I was able to work with talented writers and people with great minds for wrestling. And it was FUN! The worst part about it is that I wasn't able to finish my 2/3 falls match. I had many ideas and I was into the second fall when I realized it was all coming together and I actually had a shot at pulling out a fantastic match to end what I think was an interesting feud. But time restraints and my birthday stopped me from finishing it. BTW, I'd like to apologize to Flesher. He supported me through this whole thing and gave me ideas and helped me when I asked for it. He's been behind me getting a push up the card for a while now. I figured this feud would help prove it to OTHER people, but I guess that didn't work out. I must admit, I am kind of upset that the Mak/Spike feud didn't get as much attention as I was hoping for. Sure, we main evented a bunch of shows. But we didn't get YOUR attention. The readers and writers of the SWF. That was one of the purposes behind it. I wanted to have an old school SWF type feud with someone I consider a good friend that I've known for what...3-4 years, that actually brought the readers into it and made them care. Edwin/Silent, this was not. But I wanted something like that. Something that actually came close. But after every show that Mak or I (and Toxx) wrote for, it seemed nobody cared. This feud had everything a feud should have. Two characters that are very different in attributes and characteristics that people care about, a purpose, psychology in the promos and matches, character development, an evil force behind the whole thing, and a blow off that settled things. And yet, we didn't get any comments other than WC for the blow off and Drea talking about pie. That made me really upset. I know I haven't been the poster-child for being consistent. But seriously folks. I've no-showed what? 10 matches at most since my return? That's been what? 6-7 months? And yet, all I see in the prediction threads are "If Spike shows...” "DNS", "If either one of them show...", "He'll write a 500 word squash match...". Does anybody pay attention to the fed anymore? This is for fun. If you aren't having fun, leave. Trust me, I'm considering it now. Why would you bitch for something that is suppose to be fun? It just doesn't make sense to me. Anyway, I'd just like to thank Mak. I consider him a good friend that had taken me under his wing several years ago and taught me many things. He is a talented writer and the fact that he went with an idea I came up with means a lot to me. I had a lot of fun working with you and hopefully, we can work do some more stuff together in the future. That is if I stay after Battleground.

WTF? I wrote a match... and I always write a long ass PPV match. Look at my Cruiserweight Title reign. It was all giant PPV matches.

Billy Kidman and Spike Dudley when Kidman went for the Shooting Star Press, Nunzio crotched him, and London hit a top rope DDT. - Tazz and Cole came out for announcing. - Booker T went to Double DQ with The Big Show. Kurt Angle and JBL came out for commentary and attacked both men causing a Double DQ and for both of them to be eliminated from the Championship tournament. Teddy Long came out and announced next week on Smackdown, a number one contenders match between Booker T, Big Show, JBL, and Kurt Angle. He also booked JBL/Angle vs. Booker T/Big Show for tonight. - Carlito’s Cabana with Eddie Gurrerro. Carlito showed him footage from last week when MNM debuted and attacked Rey Mysterio. Eddie apologized for it and said he was having car problems. He called out Rey Mysterio, who he apologized to and they shook hands. MNM showed up on the titan-tron and challenged them to a tag title match, the champs told them to come out and challenge them to their faces, and MNM spray painted Eddie’s car. - Orlando Jordan was backstage with The Bashem’s. He told them that they better get on the ball or JBL will cut them and that later tonight, both titles will be on the line as he takes on John Cena. - Eddie and Rey find their car and accept the challenge from MNM. - Matt Morgan cut a promo with Todd Grisham. Pretty decent promo…except for the fact that Morgan’s gimmick is that he stutters. - Heidenreich came out and introduced his new friend, The Brooklyn Brawler. Brawler came out and Heidenreich read him a poem. Brawler said it sucked and tore off his Yankees shirt to reveal a Boston Red Sox shirt. He said he no longer wanted to be called the Brooklyn Brawler, but the Boston Brawler. Heidenreich beat him down to a face pop. - Matt Morgan def. Brett Matthews with some kind of slam thing…I missed it. Matthews is local talent that wrestles for NYWC (www.NYWCwrestling.com). - Big Show and Booker T def. Kurt Angle and JBL when Booker hit JBL with an Axe Kick and Big Show chokeslammed him. When JBL was about to get chokeslammed, Angle went to save him…but stopped. He left the ring and let JBL be finished off. - MNM def. Eddie Gurrerro and Rey Mysterio to become the NEW WWE Tag Team Champions. Very good match that ended when Melina distracted Eddie long enough for Mercury and Nitro to hit The Problem Solver (3-D but with a DDT) on Rey for the pin. After the match, Eddie pushed Rey down. Rey chased Eddie down the ramp way and pushed him to the floor. - Cena comes out and cuts a promo on how MSG is built on tradition, but that tradition is about to change. Ya know, the usual Chain Gang stuff. - John Cena def. Orlando Jordan with an F-U to become the NEW WWE US Champion. Cena fought off the Bashems and beat Jordan cleanly.

Carlito got a pretty big face pop from MSG, too.

We only cheered Vis because he was macking on Trish and we were murdering Lita. I started many "You Fucked Matt" chants in my section.
