The Primetime Emmy Awards
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Hank Kingsley's topic in Television & Film
There ya go. -
This would have happened over a year after Nash and Hall left, so the NWO and Hogan turn would have still happened, and DX would have been born, but they'd have only existed for a few months. I forgot that Nash and Hall left in 96. My mistake.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch

Why are you so against Richards, BJ, or Rocky but okay with Low-Ki or KENTA working stiff? -
ROH Detroit-Chicago(PPV) Weekend
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Hawk 34's topic in General Wrestling
BJ/Albright/Pearce have been teaming together for months now. The only difference is now they have a name. A name that sucks, but a name nonetheless. Project 161...that I don't understand. I'd rather see Jimmy get a singles push, but teaming him with Black (someone who I've heard good things about) and Necro (now where did THAT come from?) isn't the worse thing they could do. I honestly don't mind seeing NRC vs. Resilience vs. Vultures vs. Hangman 3 vs. Project 161. NRC is the dick-heels of the stables. Resilience is the face squad. Vultures are the high fliers. Hangman 3 are the big guys (all three are capable of good matches, especially with smaller opponents) and Project 161...well, thats Jimmy Jacobs leading Necro Butcher. It's all good. -
HBK and HHH would have left with Nash and Hall. The entire wrestling world as we know it today would be different. The Clique would have ended up being the NWO. HHH would never have been with Steph. Hogan may not have turned heel. WWF would not have had DX and would never have recovered from the Monday Night Wars.

What if Angle didn't go to TNA and stayed with WWE? He left a little bit before the Benoit tragedy and the whole steroid thing. Considering he was WWE's biggest "real" name, he would have been brought up to the media and the fact that he himself has/had a problem with pain killers and how his body has turned to crap since turning to pro wrestling. Was it for the best for both WWE, Angle, and even TNA for him to have left?

So what do you think about The Undertaker?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
Can we stop using "I'm not feeling it" in a negative manner? It's been how many years and for the love of God, it was a throw-away PPV and he ended up making up for it by putting Brock over the very next month in HIAC. -

WWE General Discussion - September 2007
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
Thats still a pretty cool story. -
This seems like such a throwaway show. For six out of eight matches, we know who is going win. The only thing interesting are the two we don't know, Orton/Cena and MVP and Hardy/D&D.

Anyone want to start making predictions for the new season, other than Temp being a dick boss? What about Karen? And is Pam/Jim going to last? How about Michael/Jan?

Movie Theater etiquette
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Smartly Pretty's topic in Television & Film
I took a date out to go see "The Grudge" and the whole theater was in an uproar after I burst into laughter after Pullman takes a swan dive over the railing. I thought it was the best part of that shitty movie. -

He already got suspended for it. Why get another 30 day suspension? -

2007: Most disastrous year in WWE history?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins replied to Dobbs 3K's topic in The WWE Folder
They've been through worse. Hell, they probably aren't THAT worried right now. Yeah, with the suspensions that they have to keep up cause of Congress and whatnot, but Vince has been through worse. He's shrugging everything off (except for the Benoit Murders, that was...the worst case scenario) and I truly believe his mindset is "No publicity is bad publicity." -
ECW/Smackdown Spoilers for this week

I love that not only is Stevie Richards on TV, but that he seems to be getting a decent sized push. -

What is CM Punks theme music? I know its by Killswitch Engage, but I don't know the name of the song. -
I think Cro Cops biggest weakness is the cage. His game plan is usually the same for every fight. Back them into a corner and knock them out. In Pride, he was able to push people back into the ropes/corner. Inside the cage, his opponents are able to circle around forever. Also the fact that if you put pressure on him and push the pace, he will fall.
-
He did look pissed off when in the ring with Vince, HHH and JBL on Raw.
-
The crazy thing about it is that this was finally his big break after 12+ years. Its a shame, really. He didn't even need "Enter Sandman" to get over, like we all first predicted. EDIT: Downhome beat me to it.
-
During Raw, I was trying to figure out how after all these years, The Sandman gimmick is still so over with the crowd.

Is Rhino feuding with anyone or is he always saving everyone for no reason?
-
Why is everyone overreacting? The clues that the lawyer gave still point to Kennedy. Once he returns, he'll take over the spot as the bastard son, drop Hornswoggle like he did at Wrestlemania and feud with HHH. It's so obvious, it's disgusting. This wasn't the blow off to the storyline...not by a long shot.
-
I also love how they had time to flash EVERYONE on the ECW roster as a possible upcoming challenger in that commercial.
