I think that the Sixers will propably take their division. NJ is really going to miss Martin and with Kidd being out till December, Richard Jefferson isn't going to be able to carry the team. Boston doesn't have enough depth, NY is about to implode thanks to its huge assortment of uncomplementing talent, and Toronto is just a joke.

Nah, I was in the German club. We conquered the French club early in my senior year and made them pay for our lunches before loaning us their cars. -=Mike ...They seemed happy to do so... My German club did the same thing... Actually, German club was in the same room as French club (different days) and we just took their fundraiser candy.

Zsasz could bring up some good points in discussion, but for the most part he's really narrow minded. I'll spare you the details, but in the comics folder, everything he posts always is about how Batman as a character and storywise is superior.

How about a Mega Fantasy "Competition"?

Are we going to be drafting in this thread? -

Since this is still kind of a trial run, maybe you should just do it with WWE? -
This could be a disaster for the Hornets. They are already struggling with selling season tickets. When the best player wants off the team things aren't looking good. From ESPN.com in article about New Orleans' poor ticket sales This is the same strategy the Bulls used 2 years ago. They would try to lure you into the stadium by comming to see other team's stars. I still can't understand why they wanted to move a team to NO. They deserve this.

I can't wait to see the generation of Dreamer trained OVWers.

Not only posts, he moderates as well. He moderates the comic book folder...thats like being the leader of the glee club in hgih school. Its meaningless. Don't mock the rest of us who post in the Comics folder because he likes to play King.

Count me in. -
I'm sure the Nets management isn't too anxious to see Zo suit up again. As long as he plays more than he did last year (10) games, they can't retire him.

from blabbermouth.net (and taken from Gene Simmons's web page) A few days ago, Barry Levine and World Wrestling Federation's STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN came over to pitch me a new reality television show...that would feature Stone Cold and his roommate DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE....More news to follow. Levine, it should be noted, is the famed KISS fotog, who first started with the band in the seventies, went on to do the 96 Reunion fotos...co-produced DETROIT ROCK CITY at New Line Cinema...works at Dark Horse on their comics and movie properties...and is developing a few television and movie projects with me. ADAM RIFKIN (dir/Detroit Rock City) and CHRIS KOBIN came by to talk to me about a television project. More news to follow. Yesterday, spent the day meeting with our NG-TV (No Good Television) Investors...doing BRITISH TELEVISION and radio interviews and saying hello to TOMMY THAYER , who dropped by with a friend to pick up his copy of SPEAKING IN TONGUES dvd. And then, went to see HERO (with Jet Lee)...filmed in China with English sub-titles. If you're tired of American styled movie making, check this masterpiece out. The script has a different pace than we're used to, but the art direction, cinematography, special effects and direction has to be seen to be believe. ----------------- What the hell?

The first time I ever heard the Ramones I knew they would be my favorite band of all time because: • It had this simple sound that made me feel like I could play/write this music myself. • An edgy, rough sound that sharply contrasted it's poppy nature. • Lyrics that I could identify with, but not necessarily sappy. • A wicked sense of humor.

Twiggy was kicked out of the band (I think he and Manson had a falling out or something over the direction of the band) in favor of producer Tim Skold, who coincidently fucking owns on later KMFDM releases. Skold knows his shit and was able to put together a really good and different album. He produced Lucia's (the most recent girl singer from KMFDM) debut album for Universal, and although it is pop oriented, it still has an industrial edge to it. I'm happy about that. Manson is one of the few mainstream rock acts that can succesfully change their image/sound from album to album.

Jeff (I forget his first name) Katzenburg wound up forming the company with Spielberg and Geffen (Hense the copmanie's official name being Dreamworks SKG). While Eisner was the CEO, Katz was the president (basically the second in command) of Disney. The two started to really hate each other over the years, especially after the other high level exec whose name escapes me at this moment died in a helicopter accident.

But he remembers up to his death and such. So why would he not remember WW? Thanks to John Byrne and his Hyppolyta the Time Traveling Golden Age Wonder Woman arc, the entire DCU knows about Wonder Woman and the Amazon via the Golden Age WW's actions well before Diana came out to the world during Legends. Hence why Green Arrow knows Wonder Woman despite his memory problems... Ah... I always forget about the Hippo factor. My question now is was Hippo in fact a member of the original JL of A?

What I'm wondering is what the hell is Milwaukee thinking? Randolph shows a lot of promise when he stays out of trouble, but Redd is too good an outside shooter to give away.

Even still, for a project he did out of spite, his run on Alpha Flight was VERY good.

No one in the crowd would get it but a bunch of smarks on forums eveywhere would be like NOVA~! I'm predicting Victoria to go over Trish for the strap at Unforgiven thanks to Stevie. What will happen after that is a mystery. But isnt Steve/Donnie Bucci, Nova's real name? Nova's real first name is Mike. I'd be all for a psycho tag team of Nova and Stevie. Hell, they've obvoiusly been impressed with La Resistance, as it is the only way to explain their title reigns. And Nova and Stevie are just as good as them.

Maybe they could make it a Perfect Strangers-esque sitcom...

You would like to think that these guys still had their money from their peak.

It's all about motivation. As for why everyone hates Doom Patrol, I'm thinking it's because it is a mighty lame concept in general. It truly is. And I'm sure that propably effects everyone's views on the new series. The art from John Byrne's next project, The Demon looks really cool. It's a character that he's quite fond of and is trying to revamp more along the lines of the original Kirby series. That series I'm looking forward to because in every interveiw where he's talked about it, he seems to be enthusiastic towards the project, and he wants it to be a homage to one of his comic idols.

It was a good question. It made me thing for a while.
