Marvel Age is there new all age imprint. Basically retellings of the classic stories, but totally kid friendly. I got hooked up at free comic day with the Teen Titans and the Donald Duck comics. I actually wound up hitting up all three of my local shops, not because I wanted more free crap, but because they all had sales and was looking to pick some stuff up.

It seems you're using an oxymoron here. "Cheap" and "hardcover" don't really seem to go hand in hand. Is it really that cheap, since it collects about 6-7 issues only? If it is then I might consider picking it up, even if I usually stay away from all Superman stuff. It collects the first six issue story arc and it's $20 suggested, but you can get it on Amazon for $14.

My biggest screwjob ever came on NBA Shootout 2000. I was playing as the Utah Jazz, had an unbelievable season, something like 70-10 record. Basically, the whole starting lineup won all the awards...Jeff Hornacek was the scoring king with 35 ppg, Stockton had 14 assts, Malone was second in rebounds and such. I sweep my way into the finals. You know what happens? I get swept by the Knicks. During the regular season, I beat them every time. Unbefuckinglievable.

I heard something about Ja getting arrested last night on the radio.
-
Very cool. I love your booking of über-heel Bubba.
-
It's a really bad gimmick, but I couldn't think of two better ideas for the men behind the mask. That said, go for it.
-
OK...I lied. It doesn't have the Flash part in the beginning. But play around archive.org, I'm sure they'll have some of the sections/pics there.

The stuff with Steamboat and Flair makes it worth it.
-
That is actually a really good idea. I'd bring in a really big guy for the Big Dick enforcer role. That way he wouldn't be depended on wrestling regularly and mostly used to protect/runins for D-Von and Bubba and as a bodyguard for Heyman. To get him over quickly, have him come in and destroy Spike.
-
Michael Shane & Kazarian vs. Amazing Red & Chris Sabin looks like the best match on the card.
-
I'm sure he'll be back. He really has no other options, and I'm sure TNA realizes he is propably one of their top heels.
-
That's really sad for AJ and his family. As for having their big name matches at the end of the taping, why the heck aren't they doing that now? Stupidity. The Rodman appearance also sounded ridiculous.
-
I don't see the problem of having a Malenko-ish wrestler in the X-Division. Just have him use a couple crazier impact moves. It's not like they're throwing someone with Jarrett's style.
-
Daniels had a really good showing in the playoffs, but I wouldn't rely on him as their point guard. Them letting Nash go will bite them in the ass at a later date.

If they don't want to be stuck on a team, don't take the deal. Players take long term deals because its a guaranteed deal, and in the world of professional sports, where an injury can ruin your career tomorrow, that's important. I think it's more so that a team won't be fucked for years to come by signing a one hit wonder to a 6 year - 50 million deal and can't move him. That's what I was thinking of saying but couldn't figure out how to.
-
Thats exactly how I see it. The gimmick isn't necessarily bad and his skills aren't up to par yet, but there is still a lot of potential in him. What they could do to keep the gimmick alive is just have bizarre promos with him every few weeks or so.

Lolita Storm. Three hyper chick screamers over dirty jungle beats. As for Elastica, I would reccommend their self-titled album. It's much more accessible than The Menace.
-
I've said it before, but Karl Malone cannot be stopped by conventional weaponry.
-
I found out about that last night, and it totally bummed me out. I hope he gets well soon.
-
I was really looking forward to the Jane's/Manson/Used tour. All bands that I like, but the lineup was unbeliveable. They all attract a completely different crowd.
-
That's an odd choice. I don't even remember him playing for the Jazz.
