    Oh, you motherfucker.

Even the plastic CD cases can be dangerous, since the bottom side of the CD practically touches the bottom part of the tray.

Metallica doing it for the fans.

That just sounds sick. I'm really interested in Joey's improv drumming.

    The OAO NBA Playoffs/Finals Thread

I'm propably the biggest Maloneiac on this board and there is nothing wrong with calling him a roleplayer. That's the whole reason the Lakers brought him in. It drives me nuts when people go apeshit about how his numbers and such are down. He has a limited, but important role in Lakerland. As for last night's game, it was very good. Brown really showed what a good coach he was. Lots of good substitutions like always having someone fresh guarding Shaq and keeping Rasheed off the bench, which prevents him from going nuts. The Lakers didn't play indifferently per se. The Piston's defense just smothered them. They got in and messed up LA's spacing and took out everyone except for Shaq and Kobe. Very smart, and again, props to Pistons. Pistons had a slight advantage on the boards, but the were equal with assists, steals, blocks. I like both teams a lot, but am more of a Lakers fan. So here is how LA can improve: • Gary Payton has to stay out of foul trouble. He matches up much better against Billups. I know Fisher is injured, but Billups is having his way and getting whatever he wants when the two of them. • The rest of the team has to score. They weren't even taking shots and were more concerned with attempting to get the ball to Shaq or Kobe. It was really sad; it was like they were more interested in doing passing drills than trying to win a game. • Get their own defense going. Once they started playing D against SA, they started looking like the team that everyone thought they would be.

The Covers To Marvel Comic Books Looking The Same

I think one of the reasons Marvel is so generic cover happy is to be able to reproduce stuff for the poster/t-shirt market quickly. A lot of it is done way in advanced and they have a stockpile of potential cover art.

Who do you think would win in a fight?

The Voltron team would have their lions. The G-Force (BOTP) team would have their vehicles.

Who do you think would win in a fight?

Kyle's done a great job as GL and I liked the series with him as the GL. I just picked Hal because he's much more skilled a GL. I have one...who would win in a fight, the Voltron or Battle of the Planets team?

Who do you think would win in a fight?

Come on. Hal. After all, he was THE best GL in the Corps for a reason.

DC will win. Barry Allen/Flash and Batgirl are derivitives of already established DC trademarks/copyrights.

    Carmine Infantino sues DC...

from Newsday.com Copyright war for The Flash BLOOMBERG NEWS June 4, 2004 By 1956 The Flash, 26, was slowing down, when an editor at DC Comics commissioned Carmine Infantino to breathe some life into the speedy superhero, a lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says. Infantino, a 79-year-old New York illustrator, says he revived the declining character, originally created in 1940, and now he wants a federal judge to declare that he, not DC parent Time Warner Inc., owns the rights to the fastest man alive. Infantino says in his suit that he's also the creator of Batgirl, and he wants a court to acknowledge that too. He filed the copyright claim yesterday against Time Warner, the world's largest media company, and DC Comics, where he was once president. Infantino is seeking monetary damages and a ruling that he owns The Flash, Batgirl and other characters he says he created from 1943 to 1967. The suit comes as media companies increasingly turn to comic book characters for films and other works. This month, Sony Corp. will release "Spider-Man 2," the sequel to its $800-million blockbuster."Obviously the characters have much more commercial value these days," said Infantino's lawyer, Nicholas Perrella. "Look at the Spider-Man movies." A spokesman for DC Comics didn't have an immediate comment. Shares in Manhattan-based Time Warner fell 12 cents, to close at $17.05. Infantino, who's won numerous awards for his illustrating, says his most famous character is the second incarnation of The Flash, whose real name is Barry Allen. He says he developed the character while working as a freelance artist. The Flash was recreated by Infantino in 1956, when Allen, a police scientist, was splashed with chemicals and struck by lightning, leaving him with super-human speed, according to the Web site Comic Art & Graffix Gallery. Infantino also takes credit for reviving the Batman comic in the 1960s, by giving the crime-fighter a new look and creating his fellow superhero, Batgirl. Infantino subsequently joined DC Comics, becoming president in 1973, the suit says. Perrella said Infantino gave DC Comics permission to use The Flash in comic books, not in other media.

    NBA Mock Draft

I'd go with the Euro player. Their games are usually more complete and they seem more mature than high school kids, who just want to show off and be famous. I'm not saying that guys like Kobe and Garnett are passable, but as it becomes more common that there are direct from high schoolers in the NBA, less talented ones will come in to the league.

    NBA Mock Draft

Hopefully the Jazz won't blow it. If they are lucky enough that Pavel is still available, they should get him. Having a big center is a prerequisite in the Western Conference.

TNA needs to get REAL music

Definitely. I'm sure they could easiy get any of the Century Media bands (Lacuna Coil, God Forbid, Shadows Fall) relatively easily. They could propably barter band placement, kinda like what WWE does with their promo songs from Saliva, Puddle of Mudd, etc.

    Watchmen

I think that's the beauty of any great story; when the characters are so well rounded that it is easy for the reader to change their position as antagonist/protagonist.

I just thought of a cool Finisher

I wouldn't necessarily use it as a regular finisher, but it would be a different way to end a match.

    Really long albums.

Fuck yeah. The album just wanders on and on. You would have thought that someone would have stopped Corgan from recording every musical idea that popped into his head. I've had the album for what, nine years now, and never have had the strength to listen to it in its entirety. I used to love Smashing Pumpkins, but that album totally turned me off.

    The OAO NBA Playoffs/Finals Thread

^^^^ What he said. In the games where the Wolves won, it was because they were clearly the better team. What their biggest problem is, like in Game 5, for some reason they just happen to collapse once things stop going there way. It's not that they give up to wait for the next game, but they don't really have confidence in themselves when they start digging a whole for themselves. At the end of Game 5, Fisher was the only one really trying to get anything going, the rest of the team just stould around dejected.

    The OAO NBA Playoffs/Finals Thread

Oh I agree with you on that it is crap when people are saying "They were just not interesting in beating the Wolves so they didn't", but what I'm saying is that there were days were LA seemed to just throw in the towel and say 'fuck it let's go finish the job in Staples' and not even try to comeback. They tried, I just think they gave up and tossed the game aside as unimportant. Again, there's that Laker ego. I will agree with those here who have commented on the whole "screw it" attitude the Lakers have shown. In the games where they started to get into trouble quickly, they really have collapsed. I don't believe that they totally decided to throw games, but it does make sense that at a certain point that maybe its best to just weather the storm and try again tommorow. But on the other hand, it was a HUGE gamble on their part to give up and bank on winning home games. Had the TWolves been as agressive the games after the ones what they won, we'd be looking at them going against the Pistons.
