Can You see my new avatar?

Very cool. Don't worry about the frame rate.

    Best X-Men writer?

The early 90s weren't bad at all. XTinction Agenda is one of the few major multipart stories from that time that holds up. I'd give a little credit to Claremont up till the new X-Men launched, and even a little to Scott Lobdell, as his reign on the X wasn't that bad. Overall, the X books were kinda forgettable through the 90s. Very popular and a little entertaining, but now WOW moments that showed brilliant storytelling.

Actually, they beat the Dudleys for the Tag Titles in ECW once I believe. GREAT stuff man, I like the logo and everything, can't wait for the show. I know, but my promotion is based outside of reality. I'm workign on posting the complete history, which pretty much combines asepcts of WWE, NWA/WCW, ECW history together. I can't take full credit for the graphic, I was fortunate enough to find the file of the one WWF used back in 97.

    The OAO NBA Playoffs/Finals Thread

That's what happens when you sit out most the season and are the fourth option in the Lakers ofense. People expected Karl to be playing the same way he did in Utah, but they didn't want him for that reason. He's there to rebound and pass the ball...That's why he gets almost 10 boards and assists a game. The paycut has more to do with than just financial, its the fact that he's also given up the spotlight in being THE player for his team. I'm happy as a clam that it's the Lakers/Pistons in the finals. Lakers in 6, but the Pistons will physically defend/beat the hell out of them.

    The OAO NBA Playoffs/Finals Thread

Glorious? Glorious when he gets his freaking ring. Maybe if Miller and Layton (the Jazz' owner and GM at the time) actually built a team around him and Stockton they could have actually won in the finals. And as far as him "running his ass to LA", he's given up quite a bit for the hopes of a championship. He took a freaking 18 million dollar pay cut (and he did the right thing by stepping away before he became decrepid and a liabliity to the Jazz and giving them time to rebuild, which they are on the right page, but that's a completely different argument that I'll save for later). He's not their on the court weapon, but Karl is propably the biggest figure in the Laker lockerroom. Their respect of him has kept Kobe and Shaq from killing each other, helped calm Payton, and inspired his bench. I really can't think of anyone else in a similar position in the NBA, let alone someone who could come close to what Karl had been doing. Maybe Reggie Miller, but the Pacers management gave him all the reasons in the world for him to stay there by bringing in Jermaine, the emergence of Jermaine and Artest, etc.
  7. The joke was the best way to handle the Sting question. Kudos to HHH for being able to think on his feet and JR having enough sense to keep the questioning on track...

Sneak Peak photos of IMPACT! stage setup

I wasn't aware of Jarrett, Shane, and Young wrestling in AAA in the hexaring. Personally, I've never seen a match in one so I'm quite skeptical in general.

They prolly have the audience mic'd. In postproduction, they'll just boost the crowd noise.

Ridiculous to have kept Shaq out on the floor. It was so not worth the fourth foul.

    Masta Killa's First Album!!!

I heard a new Wu song (I think it's off this album) with Masta and ODB. It kinda samples the theme song from Sanford and Son.

You never know. Gary's got a chance to get into the Finals...something he hasn't done in 8 years. He's going to bring his A game.

    Really long albums.

I totally agree with you on College Dropout. They should have just cut out all of the skits, as they weren't necessarily funny. And the last song where he just rants and tells his life story was OK, but just dragged on too long.

And1, Street Ball and the NBA

Agreed. If Slava just got a little tough and didn't have the whole "Deer In Headlights" look he could be kinda decent.

    Lance Storm Commentary

It's stuff like this that makes me sad that Lance retired and really got nowhere in his WWE stint. The good thing is I'm sure he will do a hell of a job with the guys he's training.

He's really stepped up during te postseason which is really needed since Rasheed has been having a little trouble in the scoring department. I really see the Pacers/Pistons going to 7 games.

Sneak Peak photos of IMPACT! stage setup

I noticed it looked a little small as well. Tag matches must look like crap in them. And since they are small, I think workers would be petrified of doing top rope stuff in fear of overshooting the move and falling out.
