Why Monday for the "flagship" show?
Steviekick replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in General Wrestling
As soon as Raw started, it became the flagship WWF program. That's where everything happened and the weekend syndicated shows slowly began their descent into suckiness. That is one of the reasons why I was a bigger fan of WCW during the Pre-Raw period. WCW Saturday Night was always running angles and such while the WWF weekend shows were just the parade of jobbers. -
Scabbia by far. AVG is not that bad, and Lee is acceptable for pop.

AI is defnitely not the 76ers problem, it's the rest of the team. I don't see why it's bad if he's calling out his teammates on being lazy, and for Ford being a debatable interim coach. Even Larry Brown made it public about how he was dissappointed on the effort that the team was displaying. When you watch them play, you can see that most of the time it's just AI busting his ass. To get the Sixers back in shape, ditch Ford and GM King, figure out how to get rid of Glenn Robinson and Derick Coleman, and try to convince Rasheed Wallace to sign with them.

Pretty much, but Cade is even blander than the Bashams The only advantage the Bashams have over Cade is they look slightly less generic.

That's like saying you'd rather have your eyes burnt with hot pokers or gouged out with a spike.

AS won't be the only one...

Yea...The last BIG DICK gimmick went over huge didn't it. Which one is that, brainiac? Wasn't it when Venis was hanging out with Lance Storm?

Based on his suckiness on the mic and is uncanny abilty to stink of the ring with both current world champions? I'm not saying that he's the second coming of Benoit, but he is definitel better than Jindrak.
-
But he doesn't sound like Freddie Murcury at all. I could dress up like Tupac, but I'd surely hope no one would peg me to take his place at a tribute show. Lookign and sounding like them is a totally different beast. Besides, as I've stated before, the Darkness has more in common with Spinal Tap than anyone else. Isn't that funny? Spinal Tap was satarizing a band that came 20 years AFTER them. I do agree with you about the parody nature of the Darkness. But who would you suggest be a better choice for vocalist at the Queen tribute show?

You're right. After blowing his big shot, why is Sean O'Haire still with the company? How did he mess up? It's not his fault that Piper was released after getting in trouble for what he said on that HBO interview, and he subsequently getting lost in the shuffle.
-
Jindrak and Cade should not have been broken up. Yes, they were insanely vanilla, but neither are ready for a singles push. Zack's totally right about how O'Haire is more deserving of a push. I thought they released him, though.

Maybe instead of passing the torch to start the Olympics, they'll just light Kane on fire and pass him around.
-
It's only fitting that they picked Hawkins. He and his band's whole image is based on classic Queen. I can't think of anyone who I'd think would do a better job than him.

Fabian Nicieza talks about Cable & Deadpool

I will admit that I'm not that fond of a lot of the anime influenced comic art, but I really like what I saw with UDON in the Taskmaster limited series. They are a guilty pleasure for me. -
Wow. I was not aware of that, so from now on I will never bash Arquette.

For some reason (propably nostalgia), I'm a little curious about this series. I'll propably wind up picking up an issue and getting freaked out, annoyed, and never looking at it again. -
You'll all propably think I'm nuts, but I really think that Spike TV should air a repeat of Raw at sometime during the week. It would propably do just as well as anything else in their lineup.

That's kind of how I feel with my team, the Jazz. I would love to see them reach the playoffs, since everyone expectaed them to win 5 games this season. But we all know they'd get clobbered. But on the other hand, maybe they could trade out a lower draft pick, someone else, and cash and start rebuilding.
-
Huh? Clarification please? That is an insanely powerful and evil group to deal with. If I was in the DCU, I would crap myself thinking about any one of them.
-
Those are my choices, as well.

I wouldn't call WM XX awful or dissappointing, I'd just call it lackluster. None of the matches have had a strong build up. Nothing really sticks out and there is no legitimate pay off match.

And his current position is very important in WWE's new media department, which SHANE MCMAHON heads up...

You know what's really funny about Brock leaving?

Ditto. I guess this quote is appropriate here, after all, it's a Kevin Sullivan one... "It's karma, brother..."
