who was managed by KEVIN SULLIVAN

That's the beauty of George. He'll be around forever. Him, Terry Funk, Jake Roberts, and Keith Richards.
-
That's the hard part...Superman would never kill someone, regardless of how psycho they are. Joker, however, would kill anyone just for the hell of it. Especially if they are his arch rival.
-
I hope everyone who he has influenced (or those who sampled him) get together to make a tribute CD to help with his legal bills.

OAO Greatest Comic Book Artist Nomination Thread

-Mike Deodato (Avengers, Thor, Hulk): He has a really cool style that emphasizes the larger characters in a way that makes them look more powerful and grotesque. His costume designs rock, too. And after taking a break from comics in the late 90s, he's come back and his average person looks much better. - Ed McGuiness (Thundercats, Superman): He may not be the best known, but he has a really great cartoon like quality to him. -
The dialogue was really bad. Did you catch on the part where Prof. X was thinking about his crush on Marvel Girl?

Dr. Doom's activities as of late make him much more of a foe to Batman, especially now that he has taken it upon himself to still be the mad scientist and has taken up his Gypsy heritage. He's now the #2 sorcerer on Marvel earth behind Dr. Strange. He's also much more evil, too. Especially how he got back at Mr. Fantastic by facially scarring him to get revenge. If Doom figures out Bats' secret identity, he'd conjure up the spirits of his dead parents just to mess with him. Or prison them in hell like he did to Reed's kid.

I'm not much of a Dark Horse fan, other than Frank Miller's Sin City work.

I always envisioned Batman going off the deep end and truly going insane. Let's face it, he's not the most stable man in Gotham City and dealing with/thinking like the psychotically criminally insane definitely does not help. He becomes too obsessed with his work and actually winds up becoming a criminal due to excessive force and lack of respect for life, eventually killing off a cop or two who he feels aren't doing their job. He turns on those who are close with him (Robin, Nightwing, & co.) as he takes over Gotham. The authorities have to do something drastic to stop him--release the Joker to take him out. Both of them wind up killing each other in one final battle. Batman just becomes a legend, Alferd winds up faking Bruce's death, Nightwing continues (and doesn't take up the Batman mantle thanks to the stigma of how evil he was), and Tim Drake becomes the world's greatest detective...but not as a super hero, but as an investigator for DC's equivalent of S.H.i.E.L.D.

Seth always comes across as being really cool in interviews. He's awesome in the commentaries on the DVDs. -

No clue. Although I do believe that Hulk's rage would definitely make it very difficult for Batman to survive. The angrier the Hulk gets, the more dangerous and powerful he becomes. So the Hulk remembering Batman attacking him once before, and that he survived their last encounter, he'd be pretty steamed. I could really see Batman leading Hulk into a trap (whether makeshift or found on the way) to stop him, kind of like what how Cap stopped a drunken, angry, sky-scraper sized Giant Man over in Ultimates a while back.

^^ | | You have a feeling? He's already there. It's never cool to here that someone got hurt, but he has never really taken care of himself.

and in that very building Sabu beat MR. JL at Halloween Havoc 95

They have Andy narrating and talking on the feature on the DVD that came with the "Tear It Up" single. Very hysterical. I like the Homecoming 2002 special MTV did with him sending him to stay with some girls from an all black college.

-Neal Adams (Batman, X-Men): amazingly simple and clean portrayals of the classic super hero -Dan Jurgens (Superman): One of the greatest artists of the modern Superman era. Also very dependable. -
Mick Foley -> Henry Rollins Both men gained cult followings by being extremely hardcore (Cactus Jack in Japan and ECW, Black Flag). Their careers were forever changed with an encounter of their idol (Foley hitchhiking to get at ring side to see Snuka, Rollins jumping on stage and taking the mic at a Black Flag show). This caused both to be immense underground legends. However, once they were able to get into a more mainstream company (going to WWE and the Rollins Band) they toned down their hardcoreness and it showed how diverse and talented they really are. They are both accomplished authors, have given college lectures/tours, and are propably the greatest public relations person for their respective fields. In later years they've slown down (Foley retiring from wrestling, Rollins not touring/recording) in order to focus on their writing.

who was hyped as being the next big thing in WCW in a cover story on their monthly magazine which had a pic of THE GIANT on the cover. But by press time, he was gone.
-
Between this in the new Headbangers Ball I really wish I had MTV 2. Andy's got a lot of charisma so it will definitely be entertaining.
-
WOW !!! Laz, you hit the nail on the JL/Fear Factory and RVD/6FU comparisons. I am very impressed! Way to go!

- John Romita, Jr (Amazing Spider-Man, Inc. Hulk): He has a really cool stylized look that you just know is his -Jae Lee (Inhumans, Fantastic 4 1234): Has a really surreal and dark look. I love how he uses negative space. -Frank Miller (Daredevil, The Dark Knight Returns): Can do a good job with traditiohnal comic book art as well as his gritty urban look like in Sin City. -
That was sinisterly evil and disgusting and beautiful at the same time.
