M3 opened up as the top movie last weekend in 26 other countries. If it continues to do well overseas and gets at least $120 million domestic I'm sure Universal will greenlight M4.

They were pretty high on me for the last few rounds. From what I saw of them at Trios weekend and online, they're solid in the ring and they DEFINITELY know how to work a crowd. -
I'm going to take a short run .... Peter David's first run on X-Factor (71-89) This goes along with JLI as one of the best books with minor characters. Fun stuff that is Quesada's best work and gives us one of the best ever single issues where the team pays a visit to Doc Sampson.

Damn! Great pick Garth! -
Mostly due to finding out that Tricky is playing Philadelphia this fall.

I believe that is actually David Finch, who does resemble Marvin.

Justice League International, v1... What can I say; comics are supposed to be fun. The Giffen/JMD run is flat out amazing.

+1 This kind of outpouring makes me feel validated that I chose Teddy Long over him. -

Thanks thanks. There's still a few more buildings I might pick up. For some reason, this feels like Monopoly to me. -

My next pick adds another member to the Order of the Neo Solar Temple. I was thinking about this, and realized that this group is going to have a dynamic sort of like Skeletor and his evil warriors. Think about it... Ultramantis Black as Skeletor, the overbearing self centered leader who blames his incompetency on his henchmen. Vampiro as Hordak, the legitimate most powerful, but uses his power to manipulate Ultramantis Hydra and Crossbones as Mer-Man and Beast-Man, the two comic relief henchmen So that leaves us with an opening for an Evil-Lyn, female for the group. This woman is going to be the second in command of the Order, and at times show she is more ruthless and competent than Ultramantis. Since she is not an active wrestler, she slyly manipulates the Order into her agenda. Although she clearly has her own agenda, Ultramantis still thinks that she is his strongest ally. Ariel And for my arena, I'm a place for my smaller shows...the good ole' ECW Arena/New Alhambra Arena/Viking Hall! -
That segment with the whole review of the Edge/Guerrero must have been pretty confusing to casual viewers.

So I've been watching this, and I really think that having Khali/Yang on NATIONAL BROADCAST TV is not a good wa to get people interested.

For my next pick, I do indeed need a manager. My most important belt is my tag title, and I want ChoTen to have a lengthy heel reign. The problem is that at best they are limited in speaking English. ChoTen's reputation will be booked by them being monster heels, but they do need a mouthpiece. I originally drafted Larry Sweeney for this role, but I think I have a better plan for him. Since they'll be silent ass kickers, I want their manager to be colorful and over the top. Like if they could have Don King as their business agent/hypeman. So for this, who better than Teddy Long. And for my next arena I want to run shows out of, I'm taking a building that was the home of WCW's Starcade from 1997-2000 and has hosted a boatload of WWE events during its short life time. Verizon Center (aka the Phone Booth) in Washington, DC -
It was less about Wolverine's addition and moreso Claremont/Byrne churning out amazing material. Wolverine didn't become the defacto X-Man until the mid 1980s.

If you guys let me have the Headbangers get a little updating, then Drury should definitely be able to keep his show at Caesar's. There are more than enough venues to go around. As for the supercard, it's definitely plausible to figure out how to get your roster on the show. WMX7 had 11 matches (33 wrestlers were in matches and another 27 making appearances during matches as managers, run ins or in the gimmick battle royal). -
I agree that it should be a case by case basis. Is there any way that we could retroactively turn picks into runs?

I'm lucky...at the very least I have Ultramantis and Larry Sweeney.
