I removed my previous post. Starvenger is right. Some of the omnibus'es can get confusing, because the 1960s-1970s ones usually collect single issue stories and the 1980s ones collect epic ongoing interweaved stories.

That documentary is flat out awesome. I believe Dunn has just finished a second one about metal worldwide.

I'm going to retake Mark Millar and Brian Hitch's reinterpretation of Marvel's greatest heroes, The Ultimates, V1. It's edgy and a perfect example of the realistic widescreen style in modern comics.
-
Ok...I'll go think of one. Starvenger, you should go if you are ready.
-
No problem....sorry for messing everything up. Would you like me to do a repick?

Terrorizer is a better magazine hands down. I do appreciate that Kerrang does try the themed compilations. Most of Terrorizer's compilations feature stuff that is readily available on the band's websites.

Yeah...I just realized my error. Its nuts that they didn't include the last 5 or so issues of the Dark Phoenix bit, but oh well. I'm content with the book as is.

Me with Chikara's mini sea monster Hydra.

If anyone really wants the What If, I would be happy to share.

Daredevil by Frank Miller & Klaus Janson Omnibus Miller's noir epic is amazing. This hardcover collects his whole run on Daredevil, which does a great job of showing how Daredevil's live is forever changed by the reintroduction and death of Elektra.
-
Wow....to me, it is the definitive Batman story.

I find the Sin City comparisons work. After all, Eisner was one of Miller's biggest influences.
-
I don't know what to think, but I'm still interested. The really cool thing about the old Spirit comics was how Will Eisner was able to flawlessly switch genres and story themes. I like that they are going with the whole "chicks equal trouble" theme from the comics, but I hope that they keep some of the lightheartedness of the originals. Marketing wise, it seems like they are really trying to hard sell Frank Miller's involvement with the movie. Visually as well, with the huge machine guns, ninjas and what not.

Javier Bardem = Bane I could buy that, but they'd have to change up Bane as a character.
-
If they did a tribute to Bodom album, I'd buy it.

Why do you think I coveted Ultramantis and Larry Sweeney so much... -
I noticed that too. I wonder what touring employees are not considered contractors.

There was a website which has all of Miracleman page scans up. I think I might have heard about it somewhere in this folder a while back.

It's on my radar I enjoy my roster very much. I might consider starting a fantasy booking thread after the draft is over.
