I've been wanting to try the Beetle series again. I really wasn't getting into the first story arc.

Ah, I remember the days when WCW used to air over here in England and because it was on in the evening they actually did cover up weapon shots with Batman effects. And CHIKARA, it's moved away from character stuff a little more recently. You've still got plenty of it, like The Colony, Hydra, Los Ice Creams, but it's much more resembling of a 'straight' indy than it used to be say two years ago. Definately not on HUSTLE levels. I'd say they have a nice balance of half of Chikara's roster being gimmicky and the other half being straight indy. It just happens that their non gimmicked guys all have a really flushed out character to begin with.

Use http://www.dcbservice.com/ to order your comics. They discount everything, so with shipping it comes to about the same as if you were going to an actual store.

The OAO LIVE Impact thread (3.27.08)

You know, if he was dumb enough to be out their knowing what kind of crap he'll get he deserves it. -
Pretty much. That and there's more stitching on the swingman style.

At the Champs they never have the replica jerseys, just the swingman style. I'm not a fan of the relicas, as they tend to look cheesy.

As much as I love ODB, Kim gets my vote. I think that Kim has the best matches with Kong, and if they decide to put the strap back on Kim, she can have a great feud with ODB of the title. Kong is the only female wrestler (in TNA) that I would like to see wrestle men in TNA, especially Kurt Angle. Same here. Kim and Kong are different enough size and stylewise. ODB and Kong look like they're just going to beat the shit out of each other. -
I caught on to the Heavy Metal reference right away. I did like the Cartman as Schindler/Miep Gies story as well, especially since compassion is never one of his strong points.

Wow...it's like a kinder, gentler Axl.
-
I'd assume a family member.
-
What about the time Sid was screaming because someone (I think Nash?) ran over and smashed his car?
-
Same here. Never mushrooms.

I'm going to say no, but he'd be definitely be a footnote. Yes he was a choker, constantly injured and did have a bad attitude at times. But on the flip side, he's probably up there statistically with other top PFs. If it was a really weak ballot I could see him possibly getting it.

Can you imagine the Dr. Pepper without Borders campaign?
-
I completely agree. It is the focus of a TV show, where the IC and US titles are more of a prop. I would say that the former are more prestigious though.

Anything can happen in the WWE, you know...

Not to fuel fire or anything but this article (http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/archive...dtitleturnsfive) on WWE.com basically says that the SD World Title is the same as the WCW World Title.

HHH was on Opie and Anthony this morning and came across fairly cool. Usual fluff piece and hard sell for Wrestlemania. Best part of the interview was HHH talking about the Katie Vick angle and the night they filmed him in the Kane mask humping the casket in the funeral home. Vince was mad because it wasn't over the top enough and was yelling at HHH to be louder. The funeral home director came in and asked them to be quiet because there was a funeral or wake going on in the other half of the building!

That sounds awesome. I've never seen cherry chocolate Dr. Pepper before.

Biggie Smalls - "Juicy"

It's also up in the Atlanta Journal Constitution's website:

That was right. In his shoot, he does say that he respected and liked all the higher ups, but he felt that he wasn't fitting in. He wasn't enjoying all the travel, pre event walkthroughs of matches and stuff like that. He did give up a bunch of money, but to each their own.

I agree, although I think Angle should get more offence than you're suggesting. However, the fact that you and I agree on this matter will have NO bearing on how TNA play it out. What is ACTUALLY going to happen is Joe will lose, leave, then come back as Curry Man's hitherto-unknown tag partner the Poppadum Kid. I'd want to see that just for the trainwreck factor.

I saw a little of the DVD the other day and it looks awesome. I'm just waiting for a nicer price point.
