That makes me sad. In interviews, Shark Boy always comes across as a nice guy.

Wrestling Roster Draft: Luxe & Reduxe
Steviekick replied to PILLS! PILLS! PILLS!'s topic in Draft Faggotry
I'm going to take a proven market for wrestling from the 1940s-2000, the great city of Atlanta. I'll have my weekly tapings over at Center Stage and save my super card for the Georgia Dome. I want a good brawler, someone who is tough and can get over with the fans and someone who can be a heel as well. For this, what better marquee name than "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. -
Wrestling Roster Draft: Luxe & Reduxe

It isn't a draft without Matz threatening me. -
That was awesome. I liked in 99/00 when he changed his name to Disqo to be more hip and carried around the plastic "Disco Duck" goose lawn ornament.
-
In some ways, he was an average/above average worker in ring, but once he turned heel he developed a hell of a character. His promos were great and he did little things in his match to draw heat.

Same here. I think a lot of you will like my roster/event. -

As long as your picks fit into a larger plan, you will be safe. That's one of the reasons why I thought the trades last year was a bad idea. -
Alexander the Great, Chuck Daly, Carlos Santana, Chris Cornell, Kool G Rap, Stone Gossard, Vitamin C, DJ Screw, Ray Allen, and Pavel Datsyuk. That's quite the eclectic mix.
-
They have to have John Laroquette stealing something.
-
Language wise, I hope they don't take it too far past what they did on the show. I hope they treat it the way it was with the Simpsons Movie was; a little more than the regular series, but not that much that it would be a departure from the series.
-
I can't wait for this movie. Anyone know if Mitch Hurwitz will be involved?

WWE General Discussion - February 2009

I used to think that Low-Ki being in the company would be a trainwreck, but I'm thinking its going to be awesome for some reason. -
Also it seems like Vince himself wanted to induct Austin, so he bumped Flair, who as the above indicates, is induction Steamboat. Glad to see Steamboat is going in, and Flair is the one that will be inducting him. This is shaping up to be quite the class: -Steve Austin (I wouldn't be shocked if McMahon does induct him) -Ricky Steamboat (Flair inducting) -Bill Watts (Jim Ross inducting) -The Funks (Still waiting to see if this is confirmed, but I would be shocked if they didn't get the nod - My guess is Dusty will induct them) -The Von Erichs (See above and below) I wonder who gets the remaining spot or two. Do they give it to The Freebirds by virtue of the ceremony being in Texas or does Hayes' actions from last year cost them a spot this year? (Although, I can see Hayes being one to induct the Von Erich family) What did Hayes do last year?

UnStable is a given. I could see Chikara passing on a Japanese team this year, wanting to be cautious about who they bring in and such. Still, Miyawaki, Yago and Kudo haven't been around for a while, so I really don't know what's up.

I thought it was Joey Ryan for a second as well.

Aside from Rose, if you were to blow up the Bulls who would you keep?

Either that, or they just end the flashbacks/narration aspects of the show.

All-Time Wrestling Roster Draft

I had a though/suggestion. If we're not able to have tag teams count as one pick, then maybe we might need to have 40 picks. -

Count me in. -
Team of 1,000 European Uppercutt's for the win. Sadly, no Colony this year, as they lost the qualifier against F.I.S.T. There is even a new ant, an unnamed green one, who came out to help Worker Ant after Chuck Taylor Awful Waffled him on the floor. Chikara fans will note that this horrendous act was done at the same spot on the floor where Icarus pedigreed Mr. Zero out of Chikara.

With McGrady and Amare done for the rest of the regular season, I hope the Jazz can improve their rank in the standings/playoff position. Boozer will be back very soon, and Williams and Kirilenko have gotten over their injuries. Call me a homer, but I think that the only two teams in contention in the west that they can't beat are Lakers and Spurs.
-
With McGrady's future so uncertain, that's a ridiculous trade for Houston to consider. As long as Yao/Artest stay healthy, I think they can be a playoff team.

Very interesting to see that Kozlov got a clean win over Taker.
