I went to my first Chikara show this past Memorial Day in Philadelphia and it was a lot of fun. Los Ice Creams are superb, as well as the New Order of the Neo Solar Temple guys.

Alright...I'm closing the nominations now (It was a long weekend at Wizard World Philly). I'll have our brackets done later this afternoon. I think we're a few over, so there will be a few three-way matches in the first round.

My first semester at college, I was in almost the exact same situation as Kal would be here. Believe me, there isn't anything funny about it. Same here...I think everyone has had some sort of variation of that theme and it isn't funny. You need to make some changes to the Jeffrey character.

It would propably be best for them to begin calling themselves the James Gang and never mention it again. However, with Russo at the helm I'm sure he'll do something pointless in tribute to the limo explosion.

Ah...seems like a tour is brewing. I enjoyed QOTSA studio albums but was terribly disappointed when I saw them live.

We need five more nominations and we can start. UTBroward gets bonus points for bringing up Hauptmann Deutschland.

Hooray for the moral fans in whatever town they're at. 10-Bell Salutes are one thing that should never, never, never, NEVER, NEVER be used for fake storylines. It should only be a tribute to those who have passed away, period. (Remember how Lawler sounded pissed/upset during the 10-bell to Big Show's "dad"? That's why.) Just wondering... ..were you okay with ECW doing a 10 bell salute towards Dreamer's grandfather, then having it interupted by Credible to set up the Dreamer/Credible feud? I'd say that example is a little different, as the crowd at ECW was much smaller and Dreamer's character has always had a strong personal rapport with that audience. The bell ringing went along with his character and the interruption got a lot of heat for Credible. That whole sequence was very well played out.

We haven't done this in a long time, but who's up for a March Madness style vote-to-eliminate tournament to pass the time. To make it easier, you can only nominate heroes. You can pick alternate versions, say Ultimate Daredevil or Superman of Earth 2. I'm nominating: Captain America Namor Orion Blue Beetle (Jamie Reyes) Let the fun begin...

I think having a vacant champ is a good thing for ECW. For most of this year, the title was moreso used to push the Lashley/Vince feud, and the New Blood/Originals story has pretty much run its course. Having them all feuding against each other for the title can only lead to fun television.

It looks awesome. I so want a new Mac.

Now for something completely different...

One can dream. I know if we trade AK, we'll wind up getting an inept perimeter defender and a bag of sand.

I hope that if the Jazz decide they want to move AK, they wind up with something decent in return. If Dumars decides he wants to blow up the Pistons, I would love sending AK and Giriceck (or whatever they want that would make the salaries work) in exchange for Hamilton and Prince.

I'm assuming its going to be a tour announcement.

That really bums me out, especially since I was debating and wound up passing on going to a UWF show in Philly this past weekend that was going to be headlined by Dudleys/Steiners. I do want to see this match and I hope TNA reschedules it for later. Either that or TNA could do some smart booking and say that the Dudleys took out Scott to start their heel turn.

As much as I dislike San Antonio, they really are much better than the Cavs. I only home Lebron can make this series competitive enough to make it watchable.

Holy crap! I recognize these from my childhood! Were they comics or toys? I cannot even recall the names... They were called Dino-Riders.

For their sake, I hope they don't wind up pissing off Spike. How would that effect the status of guys that Spike is paying for like Sting and Angle?
