Civil War #5 was a fun read. Basically the following happened... • Torch and Invisible Woman escape SHIELD police. • Nighthawk and Stature join the Pro-Reg team. • Spidey and Iron Man have a falling out. Iron Man vaguely threatens Aunt May and Mary Jane, which makes Spidey really mad. They wind up brawling and Spidey leaves, being chased by SHIELD. Maria Hill, the SHIELD Director, sends out 14 Thunderbolts after Spidey, which was against Iron Man's wishes. Spidey gets brutally beaten by the Jester and Jack O' Lantern in the sewers, only to be saved by the Punisher. • Back at Anti-Reg headquarters, they are planning a raid of the Baxter Building, to steal the plans for the Negative Zone prison. Punisher walks in with a beaten Spidey who needs medical attention. Everyone is weary of Punisher, especially after he volunteers for the Baxter Building mission. Cap has an idea, and the last panel shows Tigra using a cell phone. I guess she's a spy. • Reed Richards and She-Hulik supervise SHIELD's arrest of Daredevil. Reed is questioning his actions of late, and reveals that they are planning a huge final battle where they would be using the Thunderbolts to take out the Anti-Reg heroes. At the Negative Zone prison, Tony Stark is talking to Daredevil, recruiting him to join them. Daredevil says nothing. A SHIELD guard mentions that Daredevil has been silent and that they found a silver dollar under his tongue that he wanted Stark to have. Stark asks what that means. Daredevil replies "Guess that's thirty-one piecs of silver you've got now, huh? Sleep well, Judas."

Here's my pitch. It turns out that the DC and Marvel equivalents of heaven are the same and shared between the two universes. After Hawkeye dies, he realizes how much he hates being dead. He's incredibly bored, and gets really mad when he finds out that his wife Mockingbird has shacked up with Hector Hall. Dejected, Hawkeye wanders around Heaven, and stumbles into Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. That duo has a plan to return to the realm of the living; take advantage of their budding friendship with Phantom Stranger. Hawkeye obviously wants in. They are joined by Matrix/Linda Danvers, who Blue Beetle has become smitten with during the afterlife. Hawkeye also seeks out Scott Lang (Antman) to come with them. The five play upon Phantom Stranger, who is oddly friendly and sociable in heaven. They get him drunk and Phantom Stranger stakes them to what he says is the gateway between the living and the afterlife. The five enter. What happens is that that they wind up on Ultimate Universe, which is where no one wanted to be. The five of them have to band together from SHIELD and the Ultimates, who are chasing them since they unidentified metahumans. They wind up travelling cross country, encountering Ultimate villains as well. The five wind up in Los Angeles and Ted Kord finds that there is an Ultimate Ted Kord. He shadows him, watching Ted-1610 get killed in a late night mugging. The five then go after the muggers, with Booster Gold coming up with a plan. Beetle winds up taking the place of his 1610 equivalent, claiming amnesia from head trauma. The other four announce themselves as California's own team of super heroes. It also turns out that there is a Kord Industries which Beetle now has access to.its resources and the five establish a public group of super heroes. The five wind up teaming up with the Ultimates to thwart some large plot to destroy California. As a result, Nick Fury and the five come to an agreement. Beetle reveals himself as Ted Kord and brokers a deal with his 1610 parents to sell their nanotech company to Stark Enterprises. The other four seek asylum via SHIELD and establish new identities based on their previous ones, since they don't exist on Earth 1610. Hawkeye creates a new secret and hero identity. The five are then authorized to be a west coast super human squadron to work under SHIELD, similar to the way the way the Ultimates operate. And thus, the ultimate Champions are born.

I've heard a few radio ads on New York and Philadelphia stations for this week's Impact. It should be interesting to see what the rating is.

After seeing the pizza commercial, the song, and the stuffed animal video, I so want Sapp in TNA. The man is amazing.

Didio's joke comment was that you can't have a Crisis without a Flash dying.

I'd be all for Piper managing the Highlanders.

It seems like a copout by having the match this early. They really should have kept them seperate as long as possible.

You unlock Blade in Murderworld. You unlock Black Panther and Daredevil after finding their 5 respective action figures throughout the game.

Pretty much but there are some added mini-game style challenges that make it a bit more interesting. Oh, and I've been kicking ass with Wolverine/Elektra/Deadpool/Spider-Man.

I agree. That jacket is a bit too much.

This week's episode was very funny. My favorite part was that they were listening to Life of Agony in Dwight's car.

Eddy/Batista could be seen as minority main evented as could Rock/Booker from Summerslam 2001. Wasn't the main event that year Angle/Austin?

I liked how JR discounted everything Bischoff was saying.
