I would pick Cap over Spidey any day. He's the best and most trained fighter in Marvel, their equivalent of Batman.

No one better mock Cloak and Dagger on my watch. I think the whole cloning subplot is actually kind of interesting. It shows Iron Man to be really psycho and manipulating. That's really fucked up that he was trying to extract DNA from Thor.

He really, really has. Don't most former Presidents, though? Open heart surgery will also do that to you. -
WWE to counter in head-to-head with Ortiz vs. Shamrock III...

More likely Vito. -
I'm really anxious to hear what the new album is going to sound like. I kind of always figured they would get more melodic, with them switching singers from Phil Labonte to Brian Fair because he had more vocal diversity, and them saying in an interview that the "art of balance" represents the balance between aggression and melodicness in their music. Unfortunately, I really don't like the direction they've been heading in. I loved Of One Blood, enjoyed parts of The Art of..., but really didn't like The War Within. Out of loyalty, I'll pick up their next album. I just don't know if I will like it though. On the other hand, I really want to like their new album and the band deserves success. I've seen them a bunch of times in concert since 2000, and talked to them a few times as well. They really are a good group of people, very approachable. Seeing them doing well would be a cool thing. I'm predicting that their time on Atlantic will be short, kind of like when Hatebreed was on Universal. They released two albums to decent success, but not really what the label wanted. Both parties mutually split up and Hatebreed signed with Roadrunner. I can really see that happening with Shadows Fall, as Atlantic is releasing the album in the US, but the rest of the world is getting it via Roadrunner. Laz, I don't think that SF and Century Media had a falling out, they did a really good job promoting TWW, which is CM's best selling record to date. They also did a decent job advertising and supporting Fallout From The War, which seems to be a compilation for the sake of fulfilling a recording deal. From talking with CM bands at shows, like God Forbid, Brandnewsin, and the Haunted, they all seem very happy with CM. There's no reason that Stuck Mojo shouldn't have been promoted. If you look back at the bands that CM was promoting then, they were ecstatic that Iced Earth and Nevermore were doing decent and completely ignored everything else. I think that CM has gotten better at promoting their artists...the last two Lacuna Coil cd's have sold around 200K each.

Are you looking for a black or traditional costume picture?

I have a feeling that Booster Gold is going to become DC's equivalent of Kang, with all kinds of versions of him from different times running all over the place.

I call people Michael in a Gob-ish way all the time. -
I hope they've made tag matches actually winnable. On the last game they are terrible.

Those four that you listed would be mighty sweet.

Didn't they already announce that Dusty and Mr. Perfect were two of the legends?

I picked up #17, and the Lobo story looks like it's going to be fun.

I would have told you that you were nuts.

Sabu was almost getting a good crowd response.

I love how two out of three WWE programs are running a rebel vs. authority figure angle.

Well, I've finally accepted Booster's passing. The room is spinning.

Does anyone have the original JLA cover that was posted a few months back?

I just got back from a vacation in Florida, and the Border Brawl is pretty sweet. Joe only wrestled once at the taping, in the match against the Truth that aired last week.

I prefer Elongated Man to Plastic Man as well. Plasty's powers are way too much for a character that is always poorly written as comic relief.

Not taking it that far, but having Punk go back to his ROH straight-edge character and ripping on RVD would be a great way to get him over as a mega-heel.

RIP ECW.

No, Vince thinks this horse shit "new breed unleashed" of his is gonna be a fucking global phenomenon. Exactly. Vince is actually stupid enough to think he can make ECW a global success in it's current watered-down version. Even in it's heyday, ECW had no chance in hell of ever going global. I dunno... I thought ECW had a pretty good turnout when they did a show in Japan... Or were those just ECW matches on another promotion's show in Japan? Those shows were booked by FMW and used ECW workers who were touring Japan as part of the working agreement the two gropus had.
