I guess that shows that we are all on the same wavelength. I was also highly considering picking either Cassell or Odom.

Woah... I didn't know people like you existed. Hahahah. Most of them are in Utah, but there are a few of us in other parts.

With Steviekick's first pick, he chooses.... Steve Francis. For his second, he picks... Brad Miller.

Last year I was looking forward to seeing how the Lakers would do, being a huge Karl Malone fan, and the Western Confernece would wind up. This year I'm majorly excited that the Jazz, my favorite team, have been able to rebuild themselves with little down time. I'm also excited that the Western Conference is going to be completely stacked, and that the Eastern Conference seems to be doing better.

I thought the first Ezek story or two was ok.

I'd say we have a new writer by New Avengers 16.

Sass because he pretty much knows everything. Thumbtack for his well thought out and educational posts on black metal. Czech because of the Bill Walton avatar.

WOW. If they keep booking meaningful shows like this, they might have a better future.

I'd agree that no one won, but Kerry had a better than expected showing. To be honest, I wouldn't have been able to guess how Kerry would do at all. He did alright, nothing jumped out at me. Very true. No one thought that Kerry would do well, let alone Bush flopping and coming across being agitated the whole time.

China has a huge trade deficit with us. So then why is Bush so willing to take loans from them? He had money, but that all went out to Haliburton, Enron, and other needless tax refunds. Enron? Do you know what you're talking about? -=Mike Yup. They received some money out of the whole tax refund thing. And (although unrelated), the Bush Administration DID bend over backwards for them. Um, you REALLY need to read up on that. Bush did nothing to save Enron. Bush did nothing to help them. Bush was lobbied to help them (by Clinton people) and Bush refused. -=Mike But didn't they seal the papers about Cheney's 'secret energy task force' meetings with Enron?

At least their is nothing I want to see the night of the next debate.

I hope that means he brings back the "Captain America" initiative of 1971.

At least he's not shitting his pants with every question being given. That makes Bush look really weak.

Of course China would be upset if North Korea developed weapons to use against the US. They might not be able to get the money back they loaned to Bush!

Every politician changes their mind. Other than that, what has the GOP been using for reasons why Kerry shouldn't be pres?

Very true. Kerry has brought up a bunch of great points that hopefully will get brought up. BOTH men have, I believe. Bush has, but they haven't come across as weak. Especially how he kept bringing up that POLAND~! was on our side continually during the first 15 minutes of the debate. Poland thing made everyone in our dorm crack up. It was idiotic to the nth degree. No offense to the good people of Poland, but him saying that would be like Evolution would say they are tough because they hang out with Garrison Cade.
-
The Russian question: Kerry: "Yes...Andrei Kirilenko is the best small forward in the NBA."

"And you can't proliferate nuclear weapons without dilithium crystal! And we all know how our warp engine program is crapping out!" That's Star TREK, dude. But its still a Chewbacca defense...they never explained how their engines worked in SW.

Propably the stuff where Bush gets angry.
