That was a just a rough game all around for San Antonio. Blame the mascot, I guess. They're almost certain to win the second game.

This Marvin Harrison thing is a bit like the Wayne Brady skit from "Chapelle's Show." And they're dredging up old stories about him reportedly choking a fan and a Jets ball boy. Surreal.

I finally got my $300. I'm thinking about buying one of those little flag pins for my lapel. I'm pretty high on America right now.

I'd rather be remembered for the really bitching mixtape that I made her. I believe it was 90 minutes. Lots of My Bloody Valentine and Built to Spill.

Here's one: Oddly enough, this girl contacted me out of the blue back in October. Her first letter was just sort of "Haha, it's you. Long time no see..." and so on. And I responded that browsing through MySpace had been an unsettling walk down memory lane for me, to which she responded: "Whatever, we had so much fun together, as friends anyway. Haha, remember the bucket getting lodged underneath my car, lol. And remember at that one new year's eve party when you couldn't stop talking about making out with that girl with a mustache. Don't tell me you lost your sense of humor. You always used to crack me up." I'd forgotten about all of that. It bothers me a little bit that the shit she remembers reflects so poorly on me.

Man, I'm still drinking D.B. Hobbs and smoking fucking Pall Malls. I need that check!

And then this is the girl who changed my record collection and then broke my heart, causing me to write many long-winded and self-pitying posts in the early stages of this board's existence. She looks more or less exactly as I remember her, which is to say that she looks like she's on the tail-end of a pretty significant bender. And, no, I would not be able to fix a toilet. Her dad was spot-on with that assessment.

This girl in particular comes off a lot more attractive here than I remember her being in real life. I guess it has been, like, seven years since I've seen her, so who knows? The only things I really recall about her are that she wouldn't put out and that her dad didn't want her to date me because I didn't look like I'd be able to fix a toilet.

I recently made an unsuccessful attempt to trace my sexual history through MySpace. I was only able to find a few of the girls, but the ones I did find were all a lot hotter than I remembered them being. I wonder if this is the result of only posting the most flattering pictures or what.

She's been a lot better recently. Again, it doesn't really matter because there's no way she's outlasting either of the Davids, but she'll end up being top 3 when Castro gets the boot this week. I definitely didn't expect that when the season started.

Or demanding that Willie Nelson make him gay. I thought the same thing, also. And, frankly, that would have been a much more interesting thread.

Yeah, I'm not sure that I understand the theme "Songs That Inspired Rock and Roll." Are they going to be doing pre-rock blues and country? Or just early rock? In any event, this really favors David Cook. God knows what Archuleta's going to butcher.

That comment makes no sense to me now. Also, the single version of Nick Lowe's "Heart of the City" is on this punk comp. It's really different from the album version. A lot better, actually.

Hey, man...it's just, like, if people wanted to hear about shit, they'd live in L.A. I don't know why they don't. People who live in New York or, like, Chicago are just kidding themselves. If you really want to get The Herd--and I mean REALLY want to get The Herd--you'd best to move to L.A. and just wait on that NFL team. In ten years, at least five of those teams will be in Los Angeles. They just will.

I don't know what Spurs fans are like, but...small market fans are inherently better than large market fans. They just are. The only exception to this is Green Bay Packers fans, and that's (a. a product of history and b.) an example of why football is far and away the best American sport.

Certain colors were disallowed because we would have been shot dead by gang members. I was, like, nine. I didn't know the difference. I wore a Miami Hurricanes hat, slightly tilted right.

I spelled out the reasons for my Spurs fanhood in some Maff chat a while back. Did you know that I wasn't allowed to wear certain colors to school when I lived in San Antonio? Spurs colors weren't included in that bunch. We've come a long way, baby.
