You do understand, son, that it took 2 years to hit the 1000 mark for deaths, correct? And cops die every day in our streets. Why aren't you going "OMG GET THEM OFF THE STREETS!" Seriously, save people time and just shut up already. Soldiers die. Yes, it happens. When you enter into the Armed Services, there is the chance that you may die in service of your country. It's people like you that cause things like Somalia. You don't think the Armed Services compensate for those? OMG, a maybe a hundred out of 140,000 troops are getting booted. All operations in Iraq will surely collapse! I, in all honesty, doubt he'd do that until Iraq is a bit more stable and they have their own security forces. It would take something absolutely dire for them to do that right now. Of course, you don't understand things like that, so I'm not really surprised. No, you just don't understand. It's not a possibility. Anyone in the Government can tell you this. It simply won't happen. The military won't let it happen. There wasn't a possibility 4 years ago, and there isn't one now. ... ... For the love of God, just shut up.

Perhaps I see a difference between this and Kerry's 'Flip-flops' because Kerry doesn't bother to issue "corrections" or things like that to these things. I mean, Rumsfeld issued a quick press-release saying how they misunderstood him, while Kerry just continually contradicts himself without recognizing it as a change in position. Rumsfeld being misinterpreted and correcting it =/= Kerry continually changing his stance on things like Iraq.

Hilariously enough, the Senate Intelligence Committee thinks more the former.

THANK YOU. I'm tired of all the "BUSH G0T SCH00L3|)" and "N0 KERRY SUX0RS" crap. There's things called serious discussion (Which is what happened in a chat I held after the debate) and extraneous crap posted by idiots. Please note the difference.
-
No offense, but they aren't very good jokes. They aren't clever jabs at Bush anymore (if they ever were), they are just irrtating crap. And it does sound like whiny crap when you continually use it as though you are making a point. But, in your defense, I think Cheesala is the one who has used the Hitler quotes and such, not you. And you never said anything like that about 9/11 to my knowledge, and I've been here a while.

To those who didn't watch it, or who watched it with the sound turned down, I suppose it is. Denial is more than a river in Egypt. Bwuahaha. I seriously want to see you debate Tom on the substance of both candidates. Kerry is still down in the electoral college by a bunch. He has a lot of ground to make up, and now the expectations are on HIM in this next debate. Let's see how that works against him. Oh, and by the way... Even though Kerry 'won' the debates, people's opinions haven't changed too much.
-
Who's whining? Funny the only people I see around here who do that are you, Jobber, INXS and the rest of the Kerry fanboys. Hell, it's just like the draft scare tactic Out of morbid curiosity, can I get a few links to my 'whining posts"? Or do they reside in the same locale as my 'Bush-Hitler comparisons' and 'getting over 9-11 the next day'? For starters, just about anything that involves the words "Black Baby"...

OMFG! H0\/\/ C4|\| +|-|4+ B3?!!?!?!111!!! Wow. At least someone here gets it. Naw. We love cock-measuring contests. This is CE, remember?

I dunno. He's trying to be JFK, so he has a brother-in-law in California and a cousin in Massachusetts.

Too late: Boyscout has you both beat at the moment, sadly.

Sometimes the bias can get irritating (sometimes Stewart seems like he's pandering liberal views to get a cheap pop), but overall it's hard not to love the tongue-in-check quality to the show. Generally, I think BACK IN BLACK is the best part of the show. If anyone takes equal shots at parties, it's Lewis Black. He's like the Sam Kinnison of our Generation.

Yay! I knocked Edwin out of the top 5! *Pumps arm in victory* -
... You. Are. An. Idiot. I don't think ANYONE is getting anything out of the debates. But hey, believe what you want to believe. "Horse with blinders", right?
-
According to ABC, who sampled 35 Republicans and 35 Democrats, Kerry DID do better than a tie. You said that already. I ignored it b/c it's ABC. Oh, and b/c you said it. Horse with blinders. Idiot without statistics knowledge.
-
Like you're fair and balanced.. But he's not retarded like you.
-
Oddly enough, no one cares. He's always been a decent at best public speaker. Kerry didn't bring anything tonight. It's a pretty big draw. But hey, you only needed one thread to prove how much of an idiot you are, so I shouldn't expect too much from yourself...
-
Actually, both sides are saying it's a draw. If you believe there was a clear victor, you're just insane. And, yeah, Kerry tends to Zinger himself. That's what happens when you take both sides of an issue. Nope. I just gave you a quote of a political analyst who said "Kerry won." And just like Nixon did in '60... Bush sounded far worse even when he was bringing the content. Then again, Kerry barely looked at the camera and has a freakish grin. Visually, it's a draw.
-
And hey, it's Tony Franks, the guy Kerry kept mentioning! He kinda forgot that he supports W...

A draw is a loss for Kerry, imo. He has something to prove, and he certainly didn't tonight. I don't think Bush won (If he did, it wasn't convincing), but Kerry is losing ground because he didn't do anything good.
-
It's true. Kerry's problems with Bush weren't that Saddam was a threat, he voted for War too, but HE WOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB DISARMING IRAQ. That was his point. Whether it's true or not is a matter of opinion. Bush is going to be killed on the Domestic Issues debate if TAX GAP is his best weapon against Kerry. No. What did we learn tonight? It was the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time. If he was a threat, that means it was at least the right war. It IS an issue, you are just too dumb to realize it.
-
China has a huge trade deficit with us. So then why is Bush so willing to take loans from them? He had money, but that all went out to Haliburton, Enron, and other needless tax refunds. ...
-
Dude... where's my Presidental Candidates?
-
"He was a threat... that's not the issue..." That's a very deadly statement there.
-
True, but to say he's been consistant on Iraq is absolutely bullshit. We can both agree on that.
