I thought Ozzy Osbourne was the wacko who bit bat heads off...either way, EEKS! Yeah--well, he only really bit the head off one dove and bit the head of a bat (but not off--he thought it was the prop bat but it was a real one that bit him back). Jericho's also a big Ozzy fan, though. Ozzy ruled before he died.

This was in SYM, I believe. One of the very, very cooler parts of the game. And of course, it has been taken out since. Thanks Yuke's, you ****heads! Yeah, but crank up the speed, add the VPW touches like the shooting, smooth it out, include the replays and post-match stats like in Revenge, and so on. I still like No Mercy's career mode more than nearly any other, even if it they're basically rehashed major angles from that period of time. The branching pathways was a really cool way to do it.

Damn, now who is going to steal the Observer for us?! Thanks though, man. The problem was, she botched too many of those moves to really work in the role, which Meltz seems to forget... Can any one even name one more, though? None of that surprises me. Although, really, they've known forever to use Stacy like that. What took so long? Most of those other "big men" can't sell a move to save their lives, can't bump like him, and don't have a decent amount of moves they won't botch. Tomko and Heidenreich still have jobs but A-Train is cut? I don't even like him all that much and it seems idiotic. The best he could say about her wrestling: she tries! She sucked, and I don't know what the hell WWE was trying to do with her. The whole "trade" nonsense to Raw was so incredibly stupid I don't know what they were thinking, since she wasn't cut out to actually wrestle singles matches. My theory--too prone to injuries. She's been injured 3 times so far for long periods, hasn't she? Come on, Taker made him famous! Lots of times! WWE Logic. Well, it's not like some one over 40 would ever draw, or anything... Eh, Palumbo was, to me, basically a young Billy Gunn, but uglier. It's not a huge loss, but he could have been put to far better use.

I took one look at the Viewtiful Joe commercials, and looked at the company that made it. Capcom absolutely hated Nintendo for a long time, so I take it as no surprise that they would make a second-rate for them. I knew it was going to blow just by watching the commercials. In all seriousness, Viewtiful Joe is just a modern up-to-date rehashing of the Ghosts and Goblins franchise. Nothing more, nothing less. Yeah, Capcom still hates Nintendo, which is why the Gamecube is the exclusive home of the *good* Resident Evil titles that are on tap, gave them Viewtiful Joe first, and had talks with Nintendo about buying Capcom stock. The N64 wasn't conducive to the style of games Capcom was making, but they were hardly alone in that. They gave the N64, what, a couple Mickey Mouse games and year-old PS1 ports? I happen to disagree completely about Viewtiful Joe, but if you read the hype you should have known the style of game it was. Geez, it even had a widely-available demo out. It ain't Ghosts n' Goblins (even if it was, that's not a *bad* thing) in any way, and I don't know where you'd get that from (Maximo is their crack at updating GnG), but it's an old-school style platformer mixed with the beat 'em up genre. If anything, it's a Next-Gen Comix Zone (which Sega made, but for comparison's sake...). I fail to see how this relates to the topic, since I don't see the praise to be too highly off the mark. Maybe a bit much? Perhaps, but compared to the hype that game mags give the major titles, it was barely a whimper.

Heh, yes, I have weakness for it as well. Who has all done it so far? I know of KISS, Metallica, and Scorpions for certain. Naw, they've got plenty of ideas still. They haven't done the Top VH1 Lists marathon...yet.

OK, now as a Canadian I have to say THAT is funny. As an American not all that familiar with Canada, I don't get it. Okay, I'm pretty sure that's Alberta, but is there any specific incident that makes them part of Jesusland, or just general conservativeness?

Maven will be running Raw. Hey, given the choice between Raw is Maven and Raw is Snitsky, I'd take Maven. Snitsky we know we'd expect something evil. Maven is a wild card. Since he's rarely focused on, who KNOWS what he'll do. *orders Stacy, Lita, Trish, Maria, Ivory all backstage* Maven: I'm gonna **** all you white *****es!!!

Lemme get this straight--Maven is going to be the star of Raw for one week?

Sorry to be off-topic, but to anybody whose seen it, was Papparazi any good? It was an awful piece of crap that was basically a ripoff of Death Wish, but more stupid and absurd. Yeah, I know that a lot of paparazzi are scum, but they're not the amoral scumbags portrayed in the movie, such that killing them is no big deal. It's just another example of how Mel Gibson is becoming more insane with each new project. It was so horrible--and the studio knew it--that they unloaded it on Labor Day weekend. That's pretty much a sure sign that the movie sucks and the studios had zero faith in it. That said, I think there definitely needs to be clear-cut laws about just what paparazzi can and can't do.
