ITS THE NIGHT OF THE REPEATED POSTS BY DIFFERENT POSTERS!

I think it matches the TV Series in name only, and nothing else is the same. I'm HOPING that's the truth, anyway. It's a French movie redone for the US. Latifah's okay, but Fallon is a complete joke and not in the good way.

Not to Sox fans.

....okay.... Are we supposed to boo this guy or laugh at him?

As does Bush, but his record and errors are more high-profile. When Bush will begin talking about the positive recent economic numbers, Kerry will fire back with the emotional anecdotes, and state that we're "still worse off than we were prior to 2000." Then he'll say he "has a plan for the American people." And Bush will answer all questions with comments about flipflops... Yup. Should I wait to leave feedback about the debate now or afterwards?

I did forget that, but Edge drives *me* away too, so I didn't realize. Although that would at least make sense for a heel turn.
-
"Edge is facing HHH? Since when? I don't see that guy getting more votes then Michaels or Benoit." I didn't say for sure, but Michaels and Benoit seem to be getting less focused on than Edge, plus those other two matches are done to death.

Then there's everything else she's been in... And Torrie. And Sable--well, I guess she doesn't count since I think she's gone. I've heard of Carmella being in Playboy and that's it. "Formal entertainment exposure," besides that, means...? Plus, what does that actually mean besides nebulous rhetoric? She looks like Stacy could snap her in half with little effort. Does she have any athletic ability whatsoever? Based on? Plus, comparing them to a stagnant women's division is kind of pointless, don't you think? *was already beaten to the punch replying to this laughable point* Christy has "energy"; Carmella does not. She still doesn't seem to give a damn about any of this. And all of this, to me, is moot anyway because I don't want to see either of them.

Strangely, I don't see MGS3 on it at all, which I did find rather surprising.

They were able to add the PCI (a hardwired one) without taking out the old one. However, now I need to get my computer on this. The friend of my mother's had a DSL modem (which I'm fairly sure is useless to me), and a "Wireless USB Network Adapter." The modem we rented (will probably buy though, if not this one, an identical one from a store) has a separate USB port, so it seems I can have the "main" computer hardwired and the other one with the wireless. However, the "Wireless USB Network Adapter" will function as a router, correct? Therefore, I'd just need to get the correct wireless PCI card for the other modem? I don't have any documentation, so I may have to check with folks up Staples. Thanks in advance, again. You guys've been a tremendous help so far.

Does it only run ROMs, or would I be able to pop a Sega CD game into my PC and play it? Yep - it should be able to detect your CD drive automatically. You need the Sega CD BIOS. Is that included, or a separate download is required? That'd rock, because I have my Genesis still but there's no real room for another Sega CD. Plus the PC Sonic CD has slowdown and the annoying tendency to save between acts, which sucks if you screw up a special stage.

I don't really care for most of GO's posts, but that is way, way too harsh and off the mark. --and there's one reason why. Agreed on that, though.

JBL's push is fine...for a midcarder. If he was holding the US title right now I don't think anyone would mind. However, even JBL haters grudgingly admit his push is somewhat lacking for a guy who supposedly holds the top title in the company. Also--AUUUUGH to curry man's sig. Although it indicates I have a bigger package than Trips, at least.

I also had the Telegraph, but here's the Guardian. Oooo, the Guardian. There's a credible source. Whether or not this is true, it's quite hilarious. Uh, it's one of the most credible newspapers in the world. Just because you don't like their editorial page doesn't make their journalism shoddy. There's only three good newspapers in England: the Guardian (liberal), the Times (conservative), and the Independent (who actually live up to their name). If so, "my bad." I'd gleaned that opinion from the impressions about the British press in general, and one particularly laughable experience with their website.

Vince likes to amuse himself above anyone else. Agreed--Edge's character is boring as hell and WWE hasn't freshened it up. Too bad, since he apparently will be the one facing Trips at TT.

It sells when used right. However, as I've mentioned in the past, ratings prove fans rarely give a damn about Divas as characters. When the Divas involved are devoid of personality and offer nothing else, they drive away viewers when overexposed. i.e. Torrie will be a part of a high-rated cheesecake segment. However, put her in an angle and try to get folks to care about her "character" and she's ratings death (aside from possibly the inexplicably high-rated Al Wilson debacle, but it seemed to indicate that Al was a bigger draw than his daughter).

WWE hires models, mainly, instead of young actresses with athletic ability. Torrie and Trish were both fitness models, so they were at least athletes, however I believe Trish is the exception and not the rule. WWE's idea of hiring a woman for her acting credibility means "oh, I see you were a juggy on the man show" or "you were in Dodgeball?! Perfect!" Of course, no young actress who respects acting would have anything to do with WWE's shitty writing.

Apparently the blond guy I played as, "Kobra" is supposed to be a parody of Ken. ...*shrug*
-
Uh--WWE does that too. You forget about that? Vince is a hypocrite, but Flair's complete whorishness makes me unsympathetic towards him in this.

TSM Ninja Tournament Finals Joe Musashi (Shinobi Classic) Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden series/Dead or Alive) Ced: He's supposed to fight using some form of ninjitsu. *shrug* My vote Joe Musashi (probably the only one.. )

I don't know how long this has been out--after all, two of the games on here already are out--however, I'm glad to see Konami looking to churn out some more good games. For those who haven't check it out, here's the run down... Playable Demos TMNT 2: Battle Nexus -- Looks to be a lot better than the first game, and the new zoomed-out perspective allows for easy use of all four turtles for multi-player games. Less extremely repetitive voice samples, feels rather old school. Promising, but the demo was really short and didn't give you much to do. Silent Hill 4 -- no need to recap this. Suikoden IV -- the lowlight of the disc. Looks good, but the loading here and the gameplay showing me nothing I haven't seen in, say, 10 year old RPGs leave me completely disinterested. Ys: The Ark of Napishtim -- This is more like it. Seems like a remake of what I heard was a really good action/RPG series. The perspective, art style, sound effects--all with lots of old school overtones. This could have been a VERY highly polished PS1 game with the pixels smoothed out, though. May be off-putting for some because of that, but I'd give the full game a shot. King Arthur -- I'd be interesting to see the final game. Combat isn't as precise as it should be, although part of that was due to my horse taking damage. Basically, you control one character and I presume the rest of your folks are cpu controlled. Real-time combat that reminds me of the last Dynasty Warriors on PS2. Graphics could be brightened up a bit, as it's kind of dull and ugly right now. However, charging into a group of enemies and hacking them with your sword, switching to your bow and taking out far off enemies, trampling guys with your horse--all quite fine. Fighting on foot isn't too bad either, but the enemies constantly respawn, which makes hacking through a barrier/kicking down a gate a bit tedious. Time and polish could do wonders for this one, but for now I'm mixed on it. Neo Contra -- Now that's a lot better. No need to choose between being locked in one position and firing or being unable to move and firing in various directions--both options are available to you at all times. You're thrown right into the action riding a robot dino, and have access to missiles that lock onto your target (sweep the character across the screen near the target while holding down, release button when ready to fire). Looks good on all fronts so far. Trailers Phantom Crash 2050 -- it has mech suits (think Patlabor or the ones in Appleseed). That's about all I can tell. No gameplay footage shown. Gradius V -- It's already out. Really good, but really hard. 2D shooter with swank CG graphics. DDR Extreme/Karaoke Revolution Volume 3 -- I don't care about either of these, but those who do probably know what to expect. Nano Breaker -- Iga (producer of the Castlevania games since SotN, aside from the N64) is the producer of this project and his involvement is the main reason the title has been granted as much buzz as it has. Very little gameplay footage shown, but what is shown makes LoI look weak. Promising, but probably very early still. Rumble Roses -- Why is the logo a ripoff of the "new" wCw logo? Anyway, presentation is very much DoA Wrestling. Anime-style character designs, gratutious bouncing and booty shots, and maybe less than 6 seconds of actual gameplay footage shown. Gameplay should be decent, but it's absolutely shameless as it is. Characters shown so far are a cowgirl who seems to be mimicking Nash, a Japanese chick who seems to be pulling job duty, and...well, combine Affleck's Daredevil with Halle's Catwoman, and you have the devil-girl character in the trailer.

Completely sold out in my area. I'll have to wait and try to get ahold of another copy next week.
