Yeah, the outer space level was really annoying too, but I didn't mind it as much as Pumpkin Hill. I preferred the music in the first one, but they're good in both games. Yes, no Big the Cat, except in situations like being drowned at the bottom of a pool. Sega knows we hated Big, too. Shadow didn't necessarily die, BTW. They left it ambiguous in case they wanted to bring him back, and isn't he in Heroes?

Need I repeat that this same gimmick was proposed years ago on this very board, and it took WWE this long to figure it out?

I don't get the hate for Knux's levels. They were fine...in SA1. However, for some reason in SA2 you have to find them IN ORDER, which makes absolutely no sense. I spent a hell of a long time trying to get those A emblems in Pumpkin Hill. Except for PH, Knuck's levels weren't that bad. Overall, though, SA2 was still too little of a Sonic game for my preferences.
