He's done nothing of note yet, so I'm not interested yet. I don't give a shit if Taker shook his hand.

From an e-fed match listing: Holy Wars Originator: Overlord The top ten contenders to the world title (Minus the champ and whoever is fighting him that night) all start the match. It starts with a hell in a cell cage two guys start in the ring and it goes by royal rumble rules. There are a whole lot of weapons and tables inside and under the ring to use. The match goes in rounds, each round elimination is caused by a different stipulation. The first round the only way to eliminate your oponent is to put them through a table. Round 2 elimination by pinfall and round three is by submition only. Round one starts when the bell rings, round 2 starts when 5 wrestlers have been eliminated and round three starts when only 2 people are left. Flaming Hell in the Cell: Originator: Buzzsaw A HIAC where the bars are wrapped in cloth, have kerosine poured on them and are lit on fire. Crucifixion Death Match: Originator: Overlord Surrounding the ring are firestones (Hot coals). The only way to win is to chain your opponent's hands and feet to a man sized cross. That is hanging down at the top of the ramp. After the loser has been crucified, a wire raises the cross up in the air for all to see. Burned At the Stake Match Originator: NPWA, Chris Hebert Placed on platform outside of the ring is a large wooden stake. The winner must tie the loser to it before setting his oponent on fire. And one for the ladies... Triple Dip Tubs Of Ice Cream Match A number of tubs of different flavored ice cream (like kiddy pools of them) are scattered around just outside the ring. The girls will be wearing bikinis and the object is for one of them to put their opponent into three different flavors of ice cream. Whoever does so wins the match. No countouts or pinfalls but their still can be a disqualification.

If we're counting ECW, you have to count when he challenged Shane Douglas for the ECW World Title---the only time he got a World Title shot and there was a chance in hell of him winning. I don't remember if that was actually a good match, but I seem to recall it being so. HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD HEAD!!

Shockmaster...too easy a question.

The B.S.

L.T. vs. Bigelow was actually a decent match, so I picked L.T.

Guilty pleasures? Matches your love...
AndrewTS replied to Toshiaki Koala's topic in General Wrestling
Not as high profile--but Raven vs. Rhyno from Backlash 2001--Hardcore match. Torrie/Stacy Lingerie Match from No Mercy 2001 (do I need to explain? If only Torrie would have jobbed...). Brock vs. Big Show (pick one of 'em). Any RVD match in ECW. -
Best: The Kendo Stick/Singapore Cane. Worst: The Silly Stri--er, "Pepper Spray."

Since I'm getting the Wrestlecrap CD anyway, put me down for Vengeance.

Just how bad will Jersey Girl be next year?
AndrewTS replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Television & Film
Jersey Girl is coming out NEXT YEAR right? In celebrity relationships, that's an eternity. Jen and Ben might be married, divorced, marry other people, divorce, remarry each other, and divorce for good by the time it is actually released. In other words I don't think it will have a big impact because I doubt they'll be together by then. However, Gigli wasn't a record-breaking historic bomb like some people are making it out to be. This is kinda off-topic, and anyone here who uses MSN Messager probably saw it--but here's a list of the 10 biggest big-time bombs that they listed earlier in the week--inspired by Gigli: http://entertainment.msn.com/news/article....spx?news=131054 -
Val's average at best. His matches are repetitive (most of them are almost exactly alike) and his offense is rather dull aside from a few decent moves like the Blue Thunder. He's not that bad, just not great. He's been hampered by repeated attempts to resurrect the porn star gimmick and a history of being prone to injuries.

Well, if your's was a more recent pic... What about that main event match teaming with Big Show? Otherwise, yeah, that's true--but I honestly don't think anyone should be pushed the way A-Train has been. There's no sense of him gradually getting over and moving up the card. He's on SD one week in the main event, then on Velocity, then interfering in a midcard match, then not on either show--it's scatterbrained and poorly planned. It's yet another example of shitty booking damaging even some one WWE seems to want to push.

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...
AndrewTS replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
Nope, I agree on that. However, since they are continuing the angle either it will be at Slam or they'll blow it off on an upcoming SD. -
All's cool--and a counter-argument to that post--remember how Brock absolutely sucked? But once he started to actually wrestle in his matches we gave him his due? Even Anglesault! Now he's practically a "smark darling." And that's why the sig says that...
-
I have nothing personal against A-Train. WWE just has this stubborn way of pushing who THEY want and trying to throw a bucket of cold water on the heat of wrestlers who get over by themselves. Jones sucked too hard to actually be in the match, and you think Taker was about to have his WM win streak killed by them?
-
Well, I really doubt we'll need to worry about that... Albert is a hoss, is reportedly a real prince (pardon the pun) in the locker room and shows great respect for guys like Taker. He's Vader as far as Ross is concerned--who got fucking NATHAN JONES hired--so his ring work isn't an issue to them. Taker's put him over in interviews before. Trust me, it isn't that far-fetched.
-
It's been noted that Goldberg is selling now--however the debate is whether it's good/bad for him to be doing so. The "smark hated" don't care because they live in the WWE fantasy world that's detached from reality. Those without stroke in WWE must accept that Vince is a genius, HHH is the new Ric Flair, Undertaker is a living legend who must be respected at all costs, and they have to simply shut up and take whatever shit creative dumps on them. If they dare get over by themselves they're punished for it. Triple H was given his due when he had a good match with Ric Flair and even his Mania match vs. Booker. However, Ric Flair was a politicking motherfucker when he was in his prime and people called him on it. If HHH had consistently good ring work, we'd be saying he's just a politicking motherfucker instead of a politicking motherfucker with very shitty and boring matches. A-Train has no pull--he's a guy doing his job who is frankly a good worker for a guy his size. However, guys his size generally aren't good wrestlers because they are limited offensively and their opponents usually can't do many moves on him. A-Train's more versitile offensively than most and can take some surprising bumps, but it's harder for him to be great than it is for some one of a smaller size. I don't WANT everyone the same size and the same style--I want to see a fed full of different sized guys. Cruisers, mid-sized guys, even a few super-heavys like A-Train--IF THEY CAN WORK! However, the point is moot because A-Train is not getting over on his own, and this off-and-on mini-pushes aren't doing jack-shit for him either. A-Train won't get over this way because no one really could. If Taker puts him over clean, A-Train won't get over. He's just a dumb thug looking character with nothing really distinctive about him but his back hair. He doesn't really have a gimmick, a defined personally, or anything fans could latch on to and work as either a face or heel. He's a big guy with a disgustingly hairy body. Until he evolves beyond that fans aren't going to care.

If they absorbed Stephanie, would Reverse-Whorulon tranform into Fat Reverse-Whorulon? "- Cole says "pound and ground" again. Hey, maybe Cena is UT's Osamu Nishimura- as Cena feigns selling last weeks shoulder and everything. That doesn't bode well for the US Muga movement because Cena is no Nishimura. Squashing the one legged man didn't help anyone. Oh WAIT! MATT MOTHERFUCKING HARDY RUNS IN AND KILLS GOWAN! This works. Almost. HE'S A BULLY! a lowlife BULLY! FUCK YEAH!" I thought the squash was okay--it's at least more fun to watch than squashing a two-legged jobber. But yeah, it does nothing for anyone, but Matt-Gowen would be pretty entertaining to me for some odd reason.
-
Big, green, lousy matches, injury prone... Nothing personal against the guy, but I don't want to watch him wrestle--so I hope he stays on Raw.
-
I don't think he sucks. I just don't think he's very good. And if you believe certain people here, then all our minds will change when we get to the Cena-A-Train series.

It seems almost like Angle is being portayed as a Christ-like figure there.

Nothing I can add to that, sir. BOOO!! I'm liking Evil Brock except for the part involving Vince. Well, when she's right... Eddy and Benoit are wrestling saviors ring-wise and entertainment wise. Bless you, gentlemen. A Gallagher reference?! Well, I think he's one of the mofos running for California governor...but man, how many of us little punks you think really get that reference? If it weren't for Comedy Central re-airing 10+ year old Gallagher specials I'd still be scratching my head about it.

He's short of: a mask a cool singlet (occasionally worn backwards, see RR96) a moonsault and most of all, awesome matches Yeah, but Vince figures that's enough.
-
"Vader Bomb, eh? I met Vader. I watched Vader. And you sir, are NOT Vader." Nooo...but he's large, chunky, bald-headed and hairy. Isn't that enough? Would be funny if she busted an implant.
