I haven't followed these figures or WWE in a while, but didn't Shawn dress up as Hulk during their feud last summer? I'm pretty sure this is what the figure is representing and isn't rare at all.
D. Lee is not going anywhere!!!! Keep dreaming.
*makes hand wooshing over head motion*
I'm amused Houston's supposedly so eager to dump their second best hitter.
Do you think it's fair that people have been so critical of Wedge? They loved him last year, but being under .500 this season has a lot of people calling for his head. Seems like it's more a case of the talent still developing and the pitching just not being there.
Ryan Franklin was DFA. Guy still thinks he should be a starter. He says he was signed as one and did nothing in ST to show he wasn't capable of doing so.
With the acquisition of Abreu and a decent starter, do the Yanks become become the favorites for either the East or the WC, or are they still lacking behind Boston, Chicago, and to an extent, Minnesota?
The funny thing is that's more or less true.
I haven't seen any of the games this weekend, but it looks like there's been a lot of close beanings in the series. Zambrano's had some big command issues today, but he's lucked out. If Phil Nevin catches that foul, it's probably still 5-1. Looked like John Rodriguez Sid Vicioused his ankle on that slide.
Not that it's a huge surprise, but Carlos Lee is as good as gone from the Brew Crew. He rejected a four-year, $48 million deal. Someone else is going to have to overpay for his services.
I can't recall a game in which the Cubs defense made more incredible plays. That Jacque Jones catch could've made the blooper reel had it not been caught, but what a play it turned out to be. That following a nice snag by Ramirez a batter earlier.
Joe Morgan thinks the Phillies need to trade Abreu or Burrell because the Phillies haven't won with that nucleus. Never mind the terrible starting pitching has been the team's real downfall during that time.
Winning two of three from the Mets can save your job, it would seem. I didn't expect Dusty to be fired, but this pretty much kills the chance of any of the youngsters getting a fair crack for the last two months. Instead, it'll probably be a lot of starting Neifi, Angel Pagan in left and Glendon Rusch wherever he can be thrown in there.
- Is batting average the most overrated offensive stat?
- Does Carlos Zambrano get any serious Cy Young consideration? At his current rate, he'll pile up 17 or 18 wins, which is impressive since he went winless in April. It's made even more impressive by the fact he plays for a team that could easily lose 100 games this season.
Yeah, who would've figured the top of the order of the best team in the NL could beat a guy with a 92.00 ERA?
Boy, Glendon sucks. Glad we have him through 2007. Nevertheless, it's for the best. I can only imagine what sort of fallout there'd be if the Cubs swept the Mets. We'd be buyers again!
