I'm working on an undefeated season in 2009 on Madden with the Pats. I've won two SBs (beating the Eagles and Falcons) and I've played pretty much every single game.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that people take pride in a post count. Shit, I have only about 3500 posts since the board opened in '02 and I think I spend WAYYY too much time here, but others have 3-4x the amount I do, and think it's a badge of honor or something. I'm not going to go on about whatever problems TSM has and may have, since I can always go to either SKNT or WDI for a respite. The biggest problem I see, though, is that people won't fucking IGNORE some people (you know who they are), so they would either go away, or step over the line and get banned. If you don't like how TSM is run, either PM Dames or a mod or something and tell them WHY you don't like it, or just FUCKING LEAVE!!! Some posters didn't like how Keith and Co. ran TheSmarks board, so they made WDI, others didn't like how WDI was run (or just wanted an alternative), so they made SKNT. There are about 500,000 message boards out there, so I'm pretty sure you can find one that you like pretty easily. Sitting around and bitching doesn't help things.

They're all dazzled by Manning's numbers against crappy defenses so far in the playoffs. Seriously, NEITHER TEAM PUNTED!! That is awful defense on BOTH sides. You know what they say about defenses and championships, don't you?

The AFC has NE favored by 3.5 and the NFC has the Eagles favored by 4 or 5, I think.

Remember that time NE thought they had Indy beat in at halftime in their first meeting this season? Whoo, boy. yeah. Who won that by the way? And how will he fare in NE, in the cold, against a dominant home D, and possibly in the snow? There's the rub.

Well...Manning is going to play a team that will A) Show up to play (unlike Denver) and B) Actually has a defense (unlike KC) so his offensive production may be a WEE hampered.

What was that? Did Favre just put that one up for grabs?

Entertaining start so far. The cold doesn't seem to be affecting either team (except for the kicking game) right now, but that will probably change soon (especially if the Tits decide to keep short sleeves).
