Now that you mention what he writes, I've seen Shapiro's name on the Observer site, but he hasn't made any real impression on me, so I'm guessing nothing that he's ever written has stood out. I'm not familiar w/ Shapiro's stuff on the Observer site, but I've read a lot of his stuff on CRZ's board, and the dude seems to know his shit.
