Or no picks of the dude, w/ another of WJM in its place.

The setlist from Edmonton looks kinda underwhelming to me. Calgary's looks pretty awesome, so I'll probably buy that one.

I've been to more away games (3) than home games (2) for the Phillies this year. 2 years running, for that matter.

Implant DDT is just a glorified face drop. It's not like he's driving them down on the top of their skulls.

Now that you mention what he writes, I've seen Shapiro's name on the Observer site, but he hasn't made any real impression on me, so I'm guessing nothing that he's ever written has stood out. I'm not familiar w/ Shapiro's stuff on the Observer site, but I've read a lot of his stuff on CRZ's board, and the dude seems to know his shit. He did a big post last year on how the WWE fucked up Lesnar's push that I thought was spot-on. EDIT: here's the post I alluded to. http://the-w.com/thread.php/id=23689#275802

That 3rd and goal throw into the flat was a terrible call. It's like they didn't want to risk anything, and settled for the FG, and it cost them the game.

He can cut excellent promos when he's not preoccupied with pandering to the crowd, over-using his catchphrases, or relying on homophobic plays on words. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The crowd is way into him (so far), and he sells merchandise.

Nonsense. Or at least, I didn't notice, because I was blinded by the utter awesomeness of the gimmick. Know what I mean? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Murdoch going all "Flair crazy" was too much. There's no need to go ridiculously over the top like that.

No chance. PPV's are 1 of their big money-makers, which is why they added *more* PPV's. Cutting back to 5 would be financially unwise.

Hopefully the Dolphins have figured out their starting QB by Sunday.

What would you NOT change about the WWE?

I'll take the last Cena/Jericho match over 99% of HHH's ME matches from the last year. -
Stop making threads.

Sorry to hear about that personal stuff.

So, how'd you like the show? I downloaded the show, and I'm 1/2 way through & loving it. So, so jealous.

I didn't think anything could get gayer than the Stinkface, but Viscera has proven me wrong. Kudos to you, Big Vis. -

Compared him to Dwight Gooden. Loads of potential but throwing it away. -

Conway used the Ego Trip tonight, not the elbow drop. -

Conway's is (IIRC) the "roll the dice" that Reno used in WCW, re-named the "Ego Trip". Set up in the suplex position, and then turn like a swinging neckbreaker, only spin in the opposite direction.
