hmm.. i'm not really too sure if there's a resemblance. If it was Glenn, then somebody could use a Michael Schiavo picture with the caption of "You know, you should write a song about this. You could call it "I got hit in the nose for sticking my face in other people's business"." -

KKK, the guy who played Glen, or somebody else? True on both points. Since bills of attainder are pretty much unconstitutional. You mean to tell me that in almost a decade of litigation, that the courts are rushing to a conclusion. Feel free to mention any of the new evidence from the Schlinders which is being overlooked. It's two doctors, right? including the one from the Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville (I forget if he was the same guy as the doctor nominated for a nobel prize by some congressman) Flip-flopper! There's a difference between being convinced by good reliable information, and being convinced by one nurse who the Schlinders have never consulted and various doctors. -

On Jeb Bush ordering that the feeding tube go back into Terri in 2003: "I feel for her --- but what legal right does Jeb have to do this? Far as I can tell, he has NO legal standing whatsoever to issue this order." Also in a 2003 Schiavo thread: "And, as has been pointed out previously, the only people who have claimed to see ANY noticeable recognition on her part are her parents. The doctors and nurses have never seen any recognition by her." So, which liberal said this? MikeSC did! (nothing like checking the old Schiavo threads on CE) links: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...dpost&p=1068273 http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...dpost&p=1069140 -

Nurse Iyer's claims weren't even believed by the Schlinders. Take that however you wish. -

Actually, I have over 600 approved articles on Fark. But, I'm pretty sure half of them came before 2003 too. -

It took me like 10 minutes after I sent that Warrior link to Fark for Fark to greenlight it to the front page. -

Drudge would be all over it. Don't ask why Drudge would be around past the rapture though (if you believe in the rapture) -

If it makes you feel any better, within the next week, Terri Schiavo will walk though the pearly gates. Walk. Something she has not done on her own for 15 years. At least that's what I believe and hope for. -

I'm pretty sure President Bush cannot make a legal executive order saying "I want Terri Schiavo's feeding tube to be reconnected". Via Wikipedia: -

The 11th curcuit was made up of Republican appointees, and 10 of those 12 judges voted against the Schindlers. The two dissenters were a Ford and Clinton appointee. IIRC, here's the breakdown of the court In the majority 2 Reagan Judges 4 GHW Bush Judges 3 Clinton Judges 1 GW Bush Judge I can see the argument now: "We need more GW Bush judges, because the other Republican appointees are all Liberal activists" And we're getting closer to having a commando mission into the hospice. -

Apparently this man is not homeless despite 'intelligence' http://www.wnyt.com/x2717.xml?ag=x156&sb=x183 well, it appears that in this case, they've gotten one pedophile while he was still young, and before he could do something even worse. Although, don't be stunned if this guy does more stuff too

I found myself talking about this on IM with a friend. Around the end of the convo, I mentioned one thing and one thing which is probably wishful thinking #1) if she does have the tube pulled, her pain and suffering would soon be over. That's just one thing I believe, that people who do go to heaven go there without the pains which they felt before. #2) I mentioned a hope that all this could end up resulting in good things (living wills) and people coming together, as opposed to people being divided. I wish that the second thing could happen, but I doubt it.
