Ben Folds covers "Bitches Ain't Shit"
Rob E Dangerously replied to Phoenix Fury Legdrop's topic in Music
I listened to an MP3 version. Ben Folds is too gangsta for some to handle, of course. -
I'm just sensing that something will come together. 75 wins seems possible.

Yeah, I don't think anybody is going to approach John Gochnauer's mark of 98 errors at shortstop. Although Israel Alcantara committed 57 errors at third base in Low A in 1993. Angel Berroa had 54 errors in the California league in 2000. Current Phillie Jose Offerman had 36 errors at shortstop in AAA in 1990 and 42 for the Dodgers in 1992. Dean Palmer had 59 errors at third in the SAL in 1987

And if you project what Hamilton did in 129 games to 162 games, you get this: 276 hits in 683 AB, 241 runs, 31 doubles, 19 triples, 5 homers, 109 RBI, 158 walks If you take what the Phillies did in 129 games and project it to 162 games, you get 1435 runs. If you take what they did in 129 games and put it in 162 games, the runs per game average drops from 8.86 to 7.06 per game. If anybody is going to approach that record, they will have to get on base a lot and have a strong offense to knock them in.

I wanna see somebody try to approach the Major League triples record which is 36 triples, which was set by Owen "Chief" Wilson in 1912. Nobody, even in the minors, has approached that record. Billy Hamilton's run record was impressive since he scored 192 runs in 129 games. Babe Ruth also had an extraordinary season in 1921, 177 runs. The all time runs record is held by Tony Lazzeri who scored 202 runs in 1925 for Salt Lake City in the PCL. The short list of baseball records Runs: Minors: 202 - Tony Lazzeri (1925) Minors (non-PCL): 195 - Leo Najo (1925) Majors: 192 - Billy Hamilton (1892) Hits: Minors: 325 - Paul Strand (1923) Minors (non-PCL): 282 - Jay Kirke Sr. (1921) Majors: 262 - Ichiro (2004) Doubles: Minors: 100 - Lyman Lamb (1924) Majors: 67 - Earl Webb (1931) Triples: Majors: 36 - Owen Wilson (1912) Minors: 32 - Jack Cross (1925) Home Runs: Majors: 73 - Barry Bonds (2001) Minors: 72 - Joe Bauman (1954) RBI: Minors: 254 - Bob Crues (1948) Majors: 191 - Hack Wilson (1930) Stolen Bases: Minors: 145 - Vince Coleman (1983) Majors: 130 - Rickey Henderson (1982) Walks: Majors: 232 - Barry Bonds (2004) Strikeouts (by a batter) Majors: 195 - Adam Dunn (2004) Strikeouts (by a pitcher): Majors: 513 - Matt Kilroy (1886) Minors: 465 - Grover Lowdermilk (1907) Majors (recent): 373 - Nolan Ryan (1973) I don't see anybody stealing 131 bases for a long time either. Although Bonds walk record is completely insane too

If you look hard enough, you could find things which did in every captured serial killer. Then again, if these were rational people who didn't fuck up, they wouldn't be serial killers. BTK made one of the following mistakes (a) coming out of the darkness to taunt the police (b) staying in the Wichita area © having children (d) looking like Bob Ryder (Richard Ramirez's mistakes were leaving too many people alive, and trying to carjack a latino) -
Maybe they're just comparing Bush to Charles Manso-- nevermind

Ok, now the hackers have gone too far, nobody wants to see Fred Durst having sex. Although, a question for those foolish enough to watch the video, is Durst wearing his hat while he nails the chick?

And I created Leon Sharpe in one of my OOTP6 leagues. http://www.geocities.com/bigredrbh/p3183.html 7'0/300lbs, BL/TL, 1B/DH, ph33r

apparently North/South is totally crazy, like 5.67 runs per game crazy and the projections are changed slightly, putting Henderson at 798 home runs though 41.

Stupid comments by sports radio hosts
Rob E Dangerously replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Sports
A few samples from "The Mad Dog 100 - The Greatest Sports Arguments of All Time" Mad Dog eliminates Ty Cobb from a "hitting for average" category since Cobb hit .367 in the deadball era. Obviously Cobb wasn't in Russo's era, which is the braindead era. Constant use of the "never knocked in 100 runs" or "never scored 100 runs" bullshit, as if a player can do that all by himself anyways. (He did that on Fisk and Baines) Same goes for his "thoughts" on Blyleven, which is "he pitched a lot, so that's why he won so many games, and he won 20 games once". Granted, if you pitch a lot, maybe it's because you're good at pitching. And this comparing Willie Mays to Joe DiMaggio On Rogers Hornsby Mmmhhmmmm -
"Big Red" Robert Henderson would like to welcome the following free agent-to be talent to a special party in November. "Dizzy" Stainsby (SS - Los Angeles) Rik Carlsten (RF - Charlotte) "Succotash" Sospiri (LF - Oklahoma) Antwan Adelaide (SS - Houston) Garry Minkel (LHP - New York) Joseph Kerfoot Jr. (LHP - Las Vegas) Tucker Schiffler (LHP - Atlanta) As part of the "Memphis Red Eel" celebration

Henderson record watch: I've scored 100 runs in all 14 of my seasons. 14 seasons in a row of 100 runs is also a record. Lou Gehrig and Hank Aaron had 13 consecutive years of 100 runs. Once I knock in 100 RBI, i'll have 13 consecutive years of 100 RBIs, tying the MLB record My eleven 200 hit seasons are also a record.
