one thing to consider on Florida this is Florida.. so the "they wouldn't count early votes" scenario is plausible.. they would do something that illogical
-
Word is that the early votes, for lord knows what reason, have not been counted yet, which supposedly accounts for 1/3rd of all votes. Granted, there's one hell of a deficit to climb for Kerry in Florida

Some of the panhandle is coming in: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/res...P/00/index.html

Palm Beach, Miami Dade and Broward haven't reported yet

You'll change the channel when he brings out his Texas redneck non-sequitors to describe how close the race is. I can ignore that

CBS has it 108-77 CBS = less annoying people.. which doesn't say Rather isn't annoying, just that he's less annoying than all the forces of CNN

CBS has South Carolina and Mississippi for Bush and the Exit Poll weighting says that Kerry leads in DC by 91-8 Bush takes Virginia
-
Why can't the networks wait until at least 50% of the precincts are reporting before "calling" a state is beyond me. And aren't Exit Polls the epitome of unscientific? Do you need to wait that long before calling DC for Kerry?
-
and the exit polls have Kerry up 12 in New Jersey
-
and Cook County is the first to report, with 1% in

Barack Obama beats Alan Keyes!

The MSM is doing some REAL questionable calls already. -=Mike The reasoning appears to be "We don't want to screw up"
-
Mississippi should go Bush by a larger margin than South Carolina
-
and what the hell is going on in Mississippi?
-
Illinois, Connecticut, DC, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts and Delaware go to Kerry and 3 out of 4 Maine's electoral votes go Kerry
-
I'm getting 58-41 presently, Bush. -=Mike ...Go ahead and award the seat to DeMint, too... no way they award the seat to DeMint.. considering Inez has a lead in the exit polling.
-
the weighting of the exit polls in South Carolina says it's 51-45 Bush, which is probably closer than the states they've called
-
Here's the CNN page for South Carolina: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/res...P/00/index.html Doesn't appear that many counties are reporting yet
-
West Virginia goes Bush
-
the CNN election page fucking rules
-
and the exit polls show that only 8% of South Carolina Democrats voted for Bush, which is highest amount of party loyalty since the 1940s. j/k

Bush up 34-3!
