Where did that come from lol Or is that your "great indy based topic" ChUnK!

I agree. I would go to the show just ofr that main event.

What should be noted is that Mr. Lambert is a clueless cretin who claims HHH/HBK 2/3 falls from Armeggedon to be a "bonofide classic" and thinks HHH has been a top 10 performer this year. He is also extremely arrogant, and actually calls himself the best pro wrestling journalist in the world. Sad. Not that I want to jump on the case of Greg Lambert, but he was the guy that criticised Smarks for being too picky (we were talking about him earlier in another thread). Where did he say that HHH/HBK 2/3 falls was a classic? I gotta read that column. ChUnK

wow, theres quite a few guiness fans here. Im a big fan of guiness as well. Has anyone ever tried Murpheys Irish Stout? Im also a fan of 1664, and Boddingtons.

What are Chillia fries? Im from the UK, and we dont have them here. Are they simply fries with Chilli Con Carne on them? Like you wold have baked potato? Or are they fries with a chillia flavouring? Like a potato crisp?

Didnt you post this in the Misc, Indy, MMA forum? How about adding: TNA #2: Lynn/Styles/Ki/Psicosis BOTB2: Storm/Fliesch ROH1: Daniels/Dragon/Ki ROH2: Daniels/Dragon FWA: British Uprising: Lynn/Daniels FWA Seasons Beatings: Styles/Fleisch

Thats good news, ::respect for Felsich increases:: ChUnK!

The list was based on The list was written by: * Fin Martin * Mohamed Chatra * Greg "The Truth" Lambert * Oliver Hurley Razaz: No, I dont think many people can watch Lucha in the UK, judging by the list at least Its wierd though, because Puro is coverd and there can only be a tiny Puro audience in the Uk as well. Just out of interest, the magazine doesnt cover Lucha at all either, so that might be why. I cant think why it doesn't. ChUnK!

Hey man, good to have another UK based fan here. Where about you from? As I said in the other post, are you an FWA fan? ::says sorry for continual plugging:: ChUnK!

If your trying to ask for peoples advice on the best matches of 2002 then I would add: * Storm Vs Fleisch from BOTB 2 * Doug Williams Vs Jerry Lynn from FWA: British Uprising * AJ Styles Vs Jody Fleisch from FWA: Seasons Beatings Other than that, I would recommend you get some of the TNA and ROH tapes, as they produced some outstanding matches last year, that you HAVE to see. If your on a tight budget, Im still raving about Lynn/Psicosis/Styles/Ki from TNA # 2 (its a good intro to the x division as well). So get that. The first 2 ROH's are awesome as well. If your based in England, then check out the FWA , they had an outstanding year last year. ChUnK!

Has anyone tried smoked cheese. You can get Bavarian or Austrian smoked cheese, and it tastes deeeelicious! ChUnK!

I have to agree with that Jiga. IMO Eddy and Kurt were probably 1 and 2. I would have given 1 to Eddy just because of what he has been through, and what he now has. He's admited his problems and worked his ass off to get his career back, and I have to take my hat off to hm for that

Your taking what I said out of context and are putting words in my mouth. I never said your opinion wasn't valid. I just said that it was ironic that you tell others not to make "sweeping generalisations" but then you go and make one yourself about the board, after only a very short time as an active poster here. I agree with you here though, and everyone is going to be different with their likes and dislikes, so lets just agree to disagree shall we. Cheers, ChUnK!

Hmmm. There are some strange choices on the list, but im not sure that Angle is a bad one. He had a good showing in the rumble last year, he had a decent match with HHH at No Way Out. Carried Edge to decent contests at Backlash and Judgement Day, he had a good series of bouts with Rey. Had an amazing run of SD matches with the other 5 of the Super 6, and he produced the WWE's strongest MOTYC's. I understand he has had a bit of a de-push, but you cant dispute the fact that he is probably the best worker in the world today. He also kicks ass on the stick. ChUnK!

YNA: I never really thought about it like that, but youve got a great arguement there. XPW seems to damage careers as well as the indy scene I fear for Zebra Kid, who is a quality british heel, and has been working for XPW lately. ChUnK!
-
This may sound dumb, but what is your connection with Wildside then? You seem to get great interviews with wildside workers when other dont?
-
That move is awesome. I think I remember him screwing that up in TNA 2 ??? and so it turned into a sort of top rope reverse ddt! ChUnK!
-
I know, theres some real wierd one on there if you look closely. Edge #9 ??? Jeff Hardy ranked better than Austin and Lesnar ???

Im not sure if this is the righ forum to post this in, but here goes. This is the Power Slam magazine top 50 workers of 2002. Yeah I agree with you. But we come back to the Joey Styles arguement. You can't really blame him for doing it. He wants to break the American scene, and so you can't blame him for taking any chance he gets to work in the states. I guess with Lynn its the same. He has to earn money some how, and he has heat with ROH. So a guys gotta do whata guys gotta do. ChUnK!

Exactly, it is completely bizzarre. Which is stupid when you think about it, because surely they had a winning formula in place. With TalkWrestling introducing wrestling fans to the other sports shows that the station has.
-
I have a differen't view point to you, that doesn't mean I'm seeking an arguement. In th post I replied to, you didn't actually name any specifc matches where Styles is carried. I didn't say I wanted to see stiff kicks, thats not the reason I watch Low-Ki. I merely stated that his stiff kicks add an edge of realism to his matches, that draws me and makes me want to watch the contest that bit more. Perhaps you should ask yourself that question. I think we could go around in circles all day about AJ needing to be carried. So, as Jingus suggests, how about we agree to disagree. Well at least we agree about Doug Williams though. But I think you underestimate Jody Flesich. He works an unreal pace, and doesn't only wrestle high flying style. If you watch his match with Jonny Storm from BOTB 2, you see glimpses of the other styles he is capable of, and he works them at his same lighting fast pace. I also have to applaud his work ethic. I recently saw him wrestle three matches in one night, and every match could have passed as his sole offering for the evening. He wrestled his ass off, and finished the night with a moonsault off a 15 foot stand. He also recently worked both ROH and CZW shows on the same night. Why is it a negative that Meltzer applauds his work? Meltzer has probably fogotten more about the wrestling industry you and I together, will ever know. Oh, the irony of it. You say that, but then make such a "sweeping generalisation" yourself. After a huge 19 posts, I dont think your in any position to judge this forum. ChUnK!

I agree, the Lita one is much better. 6/10 Keep that one

Lynn/Storm is a match right out of the FWA book. Does anyone know if Lynn had a hand in getting the FWA guys (Fliesch, Zebra Kid, Jonny Storm) in the XPW door? ChUnK!
