OK. If I go up to NY, I'd like to hang with EQ, Dames, and without a doubt, my homeboy Malibu. I'd like to hang with NoCalMike because he's so goddamn close. Also, Spidey and Kotz I'd like to hang with. SweetNSexy and TSA I'd absolutely DIE to meet, especially TSA, because she's really helped me out a lot with shit. Tony's one fuckin lucky bastard.
  4. Bob, if I may say, you know more about Sex and the City than any of the girls I know who watch that show...and that really really scares me.

    best match tournament

That's an easy answer: Benoit. Everybody has seen Benoit, so they see that match first. Nobody has heard of Kawada or Misawa, and it's a shame, because they are a lot better than even the best who have competed on US soil past or present, even Benoit.

    Whats wrong?

Pat, that match isn't worth the download...sorry, man... Oh, and I've watched Flair/Jumbo...it's fuckin brilliant.

    best match tournament

The 2/3 falls match is probably the best 2/3 falls match on US soil...bar none. And I agree with Coffin Surfer's sentiments, there are better NWA title matches when Jumbo was wrestling for the belt. Anyways, on with my sentiments 2/3 Falls match BARELY goes over Benoit/Sasuke And Austin/Bret goes over WrestleWar 89. I think the Wrestlewar 89 is overrated, to tell you all the truth. I love the match, but it's not really better than Clash VI, in my opinion. And also...a best match ever tournament that has Misawa/Kawada 6-3-94 go only as far as the Sweet 16 and LOSE...really hurts my feeling. No reason why that match shouldn't be here, and in my opinion...no reason why it shouldn't win the whole goddamn thing.

    Why I wouldn't buy JR's BBQ Sauce

JR'S BBQ SAUCE: JR fire dummy not included... Oh, and Czech...I'm SO feeling the Tony Kornheiser love...
  12. Can't forget the pool sticks, either... Hey...so you think Ultimo walked out during his entrance and thought, "Why am I wrestling for two minutes in front of a bunch of foreigners?"
  13. All I know is that there is a cigar...that is all I know...
  14. DEAN, you KNOW you wanna see Ric Flair vs. Zack Gowen...I know you want to...it's GREAT BECAUSE FLAIR WORKS THE LEG...SEE! Oh...and OZ is a fuckin fox and a half. And bless you for the weekly Bradshaw anal rapage joke...I await the 6-man bathroom tag to occur shortly...

    Best Person...

If not for that motorcycle accident, we'd be talking about Magnum TA as a great former champion. On that list, I can't really pick...but Hennig is a definite biggie. He was a great wrestler and at the top of his game, he had a great shot, I think...

    Best Steiner Brothers matches

The wrestlewar 91 match was Steiners vs. Fujinami and Takeshi Iizuka, who got his fuckin ass whooped in that match. Great match, and it's a shame that not many people have seen it. The match vs. The Harts was brilliance sans the forgetful leg incident (Steiner sold the knee but the Harts never went after it) The match with Hase and Mutoh I think in 92...that was also great. Their matches with Bam Bam and Vader or Mr. Hughes and Vader are some of the funnest matches I've ever seen, as the Steiners just absolutely TOSS AROUND the 300 pounders with ease.

    best ppv ever

Well, I'd give the PPV edge here to WrestleMania X-7, just for the sheer madness of awesome matches it produced, starting with the beginning of the Angle/Benoit feud. Then Stampede, and then GREAT AMERICAN BASH '89, which if you like the NWA-style, there are few greater my friends. Steamer blowing up and nailing Luger with the chair is still one of my favorite moments in wrestling history.

    Best Shinjiro Ohtani matches

GREAT CALL CURRY MAN...That match is the shit. They needed more of those in their hey-day...

    Ring of Honor.. will it

What I don't get is why not give somebody who is an established indy star, like a Daniels or a Lo Ki or even AJ Styles who's running with the NWA belt, and let them have an elongated title reign. I'm all for building up new stars and such, but right now, you got AJ on the roll of his life, Daniels is the best indy wrestler ever, and Lo Ki is good enough to the point where he can hang with anybody. I think TNA has it right with Styles. They're gonna let him have the belt for a while, methinks, because if he becomes anywhere near credible in the big picture, I'd look for a TV deal to see HIM as the future of that company. Samoa Joe, although I like him, doesn't seem like that breakout star that could lead ROH out of nothing more than an ECW-like fan base. They need somebody to break out and become a star, and right now, I think letting Daniels or Lo Ki or Dragon or AJ run with the ball is what they need to REALLY put the company over the top. That's just my opinion.
  20. Bout damn time Bernie Mac got nominated... And I am deeply saddened at the fact that Will and Grace is up for Best Comedy...I mean REALLY...I'm not too big on it.

    Best ECW DVDs?

The N2R 99 match between Tanaka and Awesome wasn't even their best match. That occured later that year on 12/23, when they had an absolutely brutal brutal match on TNN, making their N2R match seem TAME in comparison. If any of you have seen that match, it's just something absolutely insane. The spots include: Tanaka getting a running Awesomebomb off the apron through the table on the outside (which played into some PSYCHOLOGY with Tanaka not really able to use the Rolling Elbow until the very end when he Misawa's into one). Tanaka turning an Awesomebomb from the top into a Top Rope Tornado DDT...through a fuckin table. Tanaka hitting a German on the table... Awesome with another Running Awesome Bomb that nearly kills Tanaka dead... And the aftermath...a great fuckin angle, where Awesome acts all noble and puts the belt around his waist and raises his hand, only to FUCKIN MURDER him with a lariat, and then putting him over the top rope through a table on the outside (set up beautifully by THE JUDGE off camera, methinks) with another Awesomebomb in front of the entire locker room which had come out to watch. The entire match and angle goes down as one of ECW's best, and something I love to watch over and over again.

    Card of the year?

Nagata/Akiyama goes only 7 minutes? Oh man...they BETTER make up for it in the G1...the tag matches look SICK. And lookie here...Liger didn't win the GHC belts...I say it's on. IWGP's two best juniors vs. NOAH's two best juniors. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!
  24. EL DANDY~!

    Card of the year?

After yesterday's show where Akiyama came in and did a lil cross-promotion deal at NJPW, and after the semis were completed in the GHC JR. Tag Tourney, the card has been set for the big 7/16 show in Osaka for NOAH...and it's fucking mouthwatering...AND ONLY THREE MATCHES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED! From Strong Style Spirit: NOAH-7/16 Murahama/Liger vs. KENTA/Marufuji in the GHC JR. Tag Tourney Finals Kobashi/Honda vs. Takayama and Makabe Nagata vs. Akiyama Yeah, methinks I'll be buying this show as soon as it comes out on tape...wow.

    The Kawada curse continues

Watch. Just like the last Triple Crown tourney where he lost to Tenryu, he'll face Mutoh in the finals...and lose again in the finals. More than anybody right now, Kawada needs a run with the belts. He's the cornerstone of AJPW, and he really needs to get a shot to be there to try and pick it up a bit...
