I LOVED Rick Rude. "Now what I'd LIKE TO HAVE...RIGHT NOW...is for all you fat...lazy...ugly trailer-dwellers to stand up and look at the body that you all can't have...now HIT MY MUSIC!!!!" A MILLION BILLION STARS!!!! Mr. Perfect was SO great...and when it came to straight old school competitors, it's Arn Anderson who takes the cake. Most Underrated wrestler ever. It took us way too long after his prime to decide how great he was...

You know what's sad about Hase's little plan? I bet that if he struck now, he could do it...AJPW, NOAH, and Zero-One are all having really bad years. NJPW is doing SO well this year that the resurgenece could put them over the top...really, it's a scary thought...

Also add the Cibernetico 16-man classic from EMLL if you wanna talk about stuff like that...that's a forgotten one...and in all reality, Lyger was the man who MADE the juniors, but he is ALSO the one who made the people around him better.

AMEN, Ravenbomb.... Is there ANYBODY who can stop HHH from putting himself over EVERYBODY???? And DON'T YOU DARE SAY TEST because of Shane-O-Mac...

I'm glad you all agree with me. It was either him, Sasuke, or Ohtani, so I needed somebody to step up and say whether he was. Thanks, doods...

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO holding you to that... Anyways, Dames, do you think Mike or Jerry should start for da Wiz? AND...can the Knicks break .500? (I HOPE SO!)

I think it's awesome how they fit so much wrestling into 12 minutes. That match is really awesome for me.
-
^He's HARDCORE!!! Or something...
-
OK. It WAS 96. I'm dumb, you're not. THanks, man.

Mutoh, Kobashi (post-knees), and Rick Rude. My brother and I just laughed at him when he came into the ring and made the gyrations. The Ravishing One had one of the greatest gimmicks ever.
-
I'm not. Angels in 5. You just watch.

Hindsight being 20/20, Vince should have pulled his head out of his ass and let ECW be their own faction in the InVasion. It would have made people like Guido and Mikey (before he retired) into a credible wrestler if they went out there against WWF and WCW guys. But this IS the WWEEE we're talking about.

^should have seen Kylie on Letterman last night...WHOOOOOOOOOOOO!

OK. Let's do it...10/4/99. I want people to talk about WHY this is the best damn TV match you'll ever see, and is probably the WCW MOTY for that year, and definitely one of the top 5 when talking about MOTD for WCW. EDIT: For those of you who don't know, I'm talking about the Bret/Benoit Owen Tribute match...
-
*points to Ravenbomb's sig* AH HEM!
-
OK. It was a 4-way dance. I thought I was wrong on the Heatwave part...It's Jericho, Scorp, Shane Douglas, and Pitbull #2. 45 minute MARATHON match. Pretty damn SWANKY. Anyways, it's almost like a messed up rolling Butterfly/Strangle Hold Gamma hold. REALLY weird but pretty damn nice. It's on the ECW POD DVD (BEST OF THE SET!!!)

So why do people hate Hogan/Rocky from WM18? Cuz there wasn't any technicality at all? Geez...look at the talent in the ring, that kinda tells you there won't be. It's OUR Andre/Hogan from WM3. It's Hogan passing the torch to Rocky. That's what it is. It's the best story told in a match in a REALLY long time. Probably back to the Austin/Hart double turn at WM13. Benoit/Hart or Benoit/Angle this isn't, but it's still a historical match. Don't diss it becuase it doesn't have a zillion counter holds or submissions. I watched it and I was still in awe. It's just an amazing match from the historical point. I'm agreeing with everyone on the technical standpoint, however. It sucked technically, but the crowd heat made it memorable. Oh, and SOMEBODY SOMEBODY SOMEBODY tell me WHY IN THE HELL nobody talks about...Flair/Perfect? HELLO! One of the best free TV matches EVER. I remember watching it and going crazy for Hennig, but then also shedding a tear when Flair left the WWF.

On the subject of the Elims: Saturn and Kanyon. Kanyon and Saturn are two innovative wrestlers who are very fluid in the ring. It doesn't have to be Elims style offense, but a high-impact, good double-team offensive attack. On the subject of Deano Machino: Two words to the people in the back to change their minds about Malenko not being able to work anymore: Malenko/DRAGON!
