Looking to get a new computer

I spent about 2 grand the last time I built my computer, and that was just the tower's hardware. If I added a new monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer It would have been a lot more than that. For the complete package go E-machines, HP, Compaq(Yes they still make and sell them, and they're pretty sweet now), or Dell. The back-to-school prices are already coming in, just check the adds, or try a Dell referbished computer.

    Hijacker problem

Without telling us where the hijack is redirecting you to it is hard to really tell, as Mr. Rant already stated. However, you could always give about:blank bustera whirl. Another tool to try is CW Shredder, if none of those two work it is still a good idea to have it incase. I always reccomend: Spybot, Ad-Aware 6, CW Shredder, Hijack This!, and Spy Sweeper for these kinds of things, and running them in that order. Also, are you running these spyware/adware sweeps in safe mode? If not, then you need to be. Also try deleting your "My Favorites" list as that could be infected as well. Oh, Kazaabegone is another good one if you have ever had Kazaa on your machine. We all know that program likes to keep some of it's files on your machine even after uninstall. Hope some of this gives you ideas to try for now.

    My computer is catatonic.

I'd suggest a destructive restore of windows. It's usualy the quickest way to resolve these types of issues.

    My computer is catatonic.

If you posted the error message that might give more of an indication as to where the issue lies. As for what your describing, and without actually digging into it, I'd guess at a virus or a corrupt registry.

    Smarkdown Predictions

MAIN EVENT HANDICAP MATCH Janus vs Alan Clark and Edward James (the WAYWARD SONS!) Let's go with something different. Wayward Sons to pick up a big win here, though it won't be because of a Janus no show this time if they do. SINGLES MATCH FOR THE USJL CHAMPIONSHIP Masked Man vs Todd Cortez MM to retain. SINGLES MATCH ALSO UNDER CRUISERWEIGHT RULES "The Superior One" Tom Flesher vs Ced Ordonez Tom SINGLES MATCH Manson vs "The Corona" Vladimir Everheart Can't really predict a new charater against someone I have no idea if they'll show up or not. TAG MATCH Ryan Dustin and Johnny Dangerous vs Martin "Big Country" Hunt and Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix No prediction, but it won't be won by a one man show. SINGLES MATCH Toxxic vs Jamie Drazon Toxxic SINGLES MATCH The Birdman vs Petey the Irish Penguin Mr. no show versus a newb. I guess we'll have to go with the newb since IL will nver write. HARDCORE MATCH Ace Lezaire vs Rob Gilbert Ace SINGLES MATCH Sean Davis vs Dace Night Sean Davis. SINGLES MATCH FOR THE CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Austin Sly vs "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins Austin to win... and I really hope the rumor of Toxxic helping write Spike's match is false, that would just be totally uncool.

Janus was Dante Crane and used the user name D. Lucretia for Dante Crane. However, when Austin Sly came along the board was closed to new registrations, so Janus donated his spare user name to Austin, which was D. Lucretia. Austin now uses the username "Sly" though since new registrations are allowed again.

If I find it boring to write than I find it boring to write, quite simple really. And no, I don't think i need to have them limping the whole match and what not. I have only watched WWE/F and WCW. Never does Benoit, Angel/whoever work anyones neck over, or their ankles before they slap on a submission. They also don't go around selling the whole damn match... unless you call Michaels bleeding liek a stuck pig selling that is. Thats what I draw my experiences from. You guys write what works for you, and I'll do the same.

Dace, you should really watch more wrestling. These guys I watch take a beating the whole match and suddenly EXPLODE~! back to life quick as they ever were. Not to mention, I slopped that match together in about 2 hours, so if its lacking thats why. PLUS, writting a match full of guys clenching their backs and selling everything is boring to write. Sorry you didn't like the way it was handled, but it obviously got the job done which is all it was intended to do. Thanks.

    Official Spiderman 2 Thread

Sandman, Electro, and Vulture would transulate to film badly, IMHO. Thats why I said Lame for them. Mysterio would need a new suit, period. The Venom suit coming from space is the actual orgin of the suit, but i think it'd be hard for them for them to do it that way in the movie, Hell it would take half the movie to explain the symboite. We don't want the Spiderman series to go down the shitter like Batman now, do we?

    The Punisher (1990/2004) question...

Wait till Punisher is out on DVD. DVD sales can help make or break a movie anymore, and any sequels for it.

They also introduced "Lizard" through Dr. Conners. He could also be in the third. However, these scientist gone wrong in 3 movies straight would get a little played out. Not to mention Lizard being straight CGI. Venom would have to be saved for the fourth. If they want Venom, introduce Eddie Brock in the third and do the "Pete gets Brock fired bit" in it then let him become Venom in the fourth. The suit would need a totally new orgin though. Anything coming from space is dumb. Also, what are all the major/significant Spidey villans anyway? I can think of a few: Electro(Lame charater period) Mysterio(Lame movie villan though) Hobgoblin Lizard Vulture(would suck as a main movie villan) Scorpion(Maybe his suit is anyother OZCorp invention) Venom Carnage Kraven the Hunter That perv that Kidnapped Mary Jane, can't think of his name. Black Cat Sandman(Lame again) Lets just hope they stay away from the Spider Clone story.

    (`·._ (`·._.:The New SWF Stats Thread:._.·`) _.·`)

NEW EDIT 04/26/2004 Smarks Board Name: Secret Agent Wrestlers Name: Johnny Dangerous Real Name: Johnny Dangerous Nick Name(s): The Barracuda, the Secret Agent Height: 6’1 Weight: 217 Hometown: Las Vegas, Nevada Age: 28 Face/Heel: Face with ferciousness Stable: None Ring Escort: None Weapon(s): Whatever’s handy. Looks: Johnny is a medium build white male, with stylishly jet black hair, clean shaven - very good hygiene. Since taking a leave of absence from the Secret Service, Johnny has stopped wearing his suits to the ring. Now the Barracuda dresses in a high tech style. Black slacks, black short sleeved shirt (tight fitting to accent his muscular build. Think very matrix looking, like Keanu Reeves.) Johnny usually comes to the ring with some high-tech looking shades, and a black trench coat. On occasions where Johnny needs to really bring it, big matches, etc, Johnny could wear knee-length black "Olympic-style" wrestling tights, with red, white and blue stripes within the "V" pattern on the back. He wears black knee pads and black wrestling boots, and keeps his hair slicked back. This is saved from the Wild and Dangerous tag team days. Out of the ring, is open game as long as it is expensive and dressy looking. Ring Entrance: “Johnny Dangerous!” Suddenly, the lights dim, and a sultry female voice breathes the name of the SWF’s resident super-spy. “After The Flesh” by My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult begins to thump through the crowds. Smoke fills the stage as tons of strobes cut through it and Johnny Dangerous walks out onto center stage. Feel free to add things like Johnny giving crowd members high fives or Johnny kissing a female on the cheek. Johnny heads into the ring, mounts a turnbuckle and raises his arms out to the fans. Feel free to add things like Johnny giving crowd members high fives or Johnny kissing a female on the cheek. Johnny heads into the ring, mounts a turnbuckle and raises his arms out to the fans. Stats: Strength: 4 - Although he isn’t built like an ox, he has some hellacious strength for a man of his size. Can usually get anyone up 300 pounds or under. Over that it is possible, but some serious effort would be needed. Speed: 5 - Johnny has excellent speed, and is small enough to deliver plenty of luncha style moves, escape a tight situation, or get to someone in a hurry. Vitality: 5 - A secret Agent never surrenders, never gives up! That doesn’t mean he won’t tap or anything, he is just stubborn and sometimes doesn’t know when to quit so that he can live to fight another day. He has plenty of energy and stamina. Charisma: 6 - Can talk the talk, especially when swooning ladies. Johnny is well educated, and can talk for hours, though he won’t be bringing home Oscars anytime soon. He can also get a crowd to love him, and on the flip side to hate him. Style: Johnny “The Barracuda” Dangerous is well trained in the finer martial arts and as such, speed is very much on his side. Being the Spy that he is; brawling, high-risk maneuvers, and aerial attacks are common ground for him. For the basics, Martial Art strikes to loosen them up, then wear downs or attacks with more “umph” to it as it goes on. Signature Moves: -Spinning Heel Kick -Scorpion Kick -Back-flip kick -Spinning Back Fist -Shotei Palmstrike -Guillotine Face Driver -Spinal Explosion (A Rolling Fireman’s Carry: Get someone into a fireman’s carry, then flip forward, impacting their back into the mat.) -Rolling Verticle Suplex (Three if he can get them off. This move WILL put someone down…. this isn’t an ego trip, but rather how it should be.) -Dangerous Driver (The attacker stands behind the victim. The attacker places both their arms under the victim's arms and locks them behind the victim's neck. The attacker lifts the victim in the air. Once they reach the apex, the attacker pushes down forward and drives the victim down face first into the mat. -Johnny Kick (Super Kick - It always precedes an Armed and Dangerous, though an Armed and Dangerous does not always follow it.) -Crucifix Armbar -The Interrogator (A Crossface hold. Used to wear down an opponent and for submissions as well.) Common Moves: -All of your basic wrestling moves that anyone would HAVE to know. Hip-tosses, basic takedowns, all that good stuff. -Any Martial Art’s kick -Any Martial Art’s chop -Punches/Kicks/Elbows/Chops (Not very often for chops, mostly when chopped first.) -Enzuigiri (Back Brain Kick) -Uranage -Standing or running leg drops and elbow drops -Neck Breaker (Rear and swinging) -Dropkick/Missile Dropkick/Springboard Dropkick -DDT (Various kinds) -Double Axe Handle Smash -Bulldogs -Body Press/Body Scissor -Chinlocks -Facelocks -Leglocks -Armbars -Arm Wringer Irish Whips into: •Clothesline •Elbow Smashes •Drop Kicks •Body presses Suplex’s: •Belly-to-Belly •Back-to-belly •German – Can also end on a bridge, and on occasion, can be turned into rolling German’s •Verticle •Exploder From the turnbuckles: •Elbow drops •Leg drops •Fist drops •Stomps Rare Moves: -Wild Ride (A Vertebreaker – When a tremendous hit is needed to get a pin…BIG money matches/Feud Matches) -Shooting Johnny Press (A regular Shooting Star Press/Mexican Pride Press.) -Armed and Dangerous (Running Fist Drop. Johnny darts for the ropes while the opponent lies face up on the mat. He bounces back and flips in the air, coming down fist first on their chest or face. *NOTE* Johnny usualy sets up this move with a Johnny Kick A.K.A. - A Super Kick. This move is more of a crowd popper than anything. The Johnny Kick is what will do you in, this is just humiliation.) -The Cover Up (Diamond Dust. Johnny gets his opponent in a inverted DDT, sits on the top rope, somersaults over the opponent, and pulls them down with a Diamond Cutter. If you don’t know what a diamond cutter is, here you go. The attacker applies 3/4 face lock …basically, the victim's head on the attacker's shoulder with the attacker forming a headlock around the top of their head as the attacker has their back to the victim… and drops down to the mat, flat on your back, impacting the victim's chin into the attacker's shoulder.) Finishers: Primary: The MI SLAM (Same as an Angle/Olympic Slam/Fallaway Slam - Can be done to anyone of any size, due to it be more of a momentum move and not actually requiring lifting anyone for more than a second.) Secondary/Submission finisher: The Barracuda (Over the Shoulder Half Crab. Can be used as a finishing submission but mainly used to wear down an opponent. If the opponent is too resilient Johnny can turn this into an Over-the-shoulder full crab…Think a Boston Crab but you reverse the attacker’s position.) Aerial Finisher: Death From Above (Moonsault double stomp. Moonsault from the turnbuckle, only Johnny lands feet first into someone’s chest, and lands with finesse.) Notes: coming soon. Bio: Johnny “The Barracuda” Dangerous is a real life spy (Like James Bond M7 type of spy), who has been sent on a top secret mission to infiltrate the Smarks Wrestling Federation, under the guise of a wrestler with a spy gimmick named none other than Johnny “The Barracuda” Dangerous. According to the “Agency’s” reports someone lurking in the SWF is behind some seriously huge criminal activities and Johnny must uncover the plot, and put a stop to it or die trying! With the Agency’s political power backing it, getting Johnny Dangerous a SWF tryout was not a problem, Johnny’s natural charm, and charisma made him a shoe in for a future star in the SWF, and as such Johnny was signed to a contract almost instantly, putting the mission into effect. Unfortunately for Johnny, learning the art of wrestling has not been an easy road. At first he relied on his brawling that gave him many victories over some of the most notorious scum on the planet. However, those notorious villains were never trained wrestlers, and Johnny soon found out that these wrestlers could beat a brawler in no time. Since then Johnny has seemingly picked up a lot of wrestling maneuvers from someone and started working his way up the roster like what was originally planned, grabbing the SJL World Championship in the process. With the fans backing and believing in this new star, Johnny is quickly rising to new heights of popularity. Will it be enough to get him where he needs to go in order to complete his real task? Only time can tell, and the clock is slowly ticking away… That was then. Currently, something has happened to Johnny Dangerous! Immediately following 13th Hour, Johnny Dangerous seemingly turned his back on his partner, and disappeared without a trace. At Ground Zero, Johnny returned to the SWF with a serious grudge. His prime target looks to be his former partner and friend, the Wildchild, for reasons unknown. Then the accusations came. Wildchild was fingered as the man Johnny so desperately seeked to uncover in the SWF. His partner, his friend, the man he must bring to justice! After six weeks of terrorizing events everything came to ahead at Genesis 4. There Johnny Dangerous took on The Wildchild in a brutal match for the Hardcore title in which Wildchild managed to overcome all odds and become victorious, as well as winning his freedom from prosecution. Moments after Genesis 4 ended, Johnny discovered that there had been a set up. A man that worked in the same bureau as Johnny had made a deal with Judge Mental - William Hearford III to use his connections to have his girlfriend paroled from prision in exchange for destroying Wild & Dangerous by making Wildchild the man Johnny was after. Now Johnny has put him self on a leave of absence from the Secret Service in order to take on a personal mission against Justice and Rule for destroying him, and his partnership with Wildchild. Blah, Blah, two time tag champ, etc.

    SWF Storm Card, July 2nd.

What, you mean I didn't get any change? Surely there was enough left over to take on Landon too.
  22. Well, I lost. No surprise, I got the wolf in my first attempt. If someone could give me any feedback, I'd greatly appreaciate it. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------ SWF Smarkdown returns from its final commercial break of the evening, and the sold-out crowd inside the Rosenblatt Stadium jubilantly rise to the occasion, eager for tonight’s main event! The shows theme quickly fades as the lights dim, and a voice picks up on the speakers, whispering a name in a deep, sultry voice… “JOHNNY DANGEROUS~!” My Life With the Thrill Kill Cult’s “After the Flesh” immediately thunders out across the arena to a sensational pop from the crowd! On the stage a thick, white smoke begins billowing out, completely immersing the platform. Meanwhile, overhead on the Smarktron, clips of the Barracuda in action flash by – Johnny hitting a Sunset Flip powerbomb on Spike Jenkins from the top of a cage… Ace Lezaire trapped in his over-the-shoulder Boston Crab and tapping like a lunatic… a spinning heel kick to Mike Van Siclen’s dreadful skull! “Welcome back to SWF Smarkdown, Citizens,” exclaims Comet, “and welcome to our main event! You are about to see Johnny Dangerous taking on the number one contender to the SWF World Heavyweight Championship, Tom Flesher!” Johnny steps out onto the stage, completely submerged in the smoke and walks briskly to the middle of the stage where dozens of strobes fire off, partially illuminating him. Finally, after a moment of suspense, he emerges from the smoke, revealing himself to the Nebraskan fans… “And just as we saw backstage, Johnny Dangerous has changed his attire for this evening’s match,” observes Comet. Gone are the usual black trench coat, black slacks, and form fitted black shirt that Johnny has come accustomed to wrestling in… the high-tech shades don’t even make an appearance this evening. Tonight he wears a throwback to the Wild and Dangerous tag teaming days: a black Olympic styled singlet with red, white, and blue stripes within a “V” pattern on his back. “What on earth does he hope to prove by coming out here with some new duds,” questions Bobby. “It’s not like it’s going to give him an added boost or anything—crap is crap no matter how you dress it!” “It’s all about the mindset, Robert,” replies Comet, rather matter-of-factly. “Johnny is coming out here with the intention to win no matter what the odds stacked against him look like. There is no room for mistakes, and he knows this—if changing his gear makes him more comfortable for this match than so be it!” “Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is your MAIN EVENT!” bellows Funyon over the roaring crowd. “Introducing first, from Las Vegas, Nevada, and weighing in at two hundred and seventeen pounds, he is… JOOOHNNY ‘THE BARRACUDA’ DAAAANGEROUUUUUUS!!” Johnny climbs into the ring and mounts a corner turnbuckle, stretching his arms out for the fans as flashbulbs pop all across the arena. He smiles for the cheering audience, taking in some of their adoration… “Though he seemingly appears rather confident about this match, I think deep down the Barracuda may just be trying to hide those emotions,” Comet suggests. “He knows he is facing a two time World Champion tonight… he knows the odds don’t play into his favor... and he knows that if he doesn’t win here tonight, it could break his career! That has to weigh heavy on his shoulders.” “Let’s hope he doesn’t win then,” snickers Riley. “Besides, this match isn’t about Johnny Dangerous it’s ALL about Tom Flesher—he should be wrestling Janus for the World title tonight, but thanks to Commissioner Zenon he isn’t! Instead he has to deal with the likes of the Barracuda… that just isn’t right.” Johnny’s music fades away and the fans grow silent. Moving to the far side of the ring, the Barracuda bends down, resting his hands against his knees with his focus entirely on the curtains… and what is about to come through them. “And his opponent… ” Funyon’s booming voice trails off as the house lights dim, leaving the starlit night as the only source of light. The fans rally together, already showing what they think of Tom Flesher by firing off a round of boos. Then suddenly-- BOOOOOOOM! Explosions of blue pyrotechnics tears across the stage, temporarily lighting up the darkened building while nearly rocking it to its foundation! Led Zeppelin’s “Kashmir” begins to blare over the speakers, and as the music plays on the curtains part and out steps Tom Flesher in his blue warm-up suit, absolutely glowing of confidence. He waits as his manager, Allison Onita, joins him on the stage to another surge of booing. They interlock their arms, and together, stroll across the knee-deep smoky stage and down the ramp—fireworks popping in the distance, and paying no mind to the insults hurtling past them. “Being accompanied to the ring by Allison Onita,” continues Funyon, “from Buffalo, New York, and weighing in at two hundred and thirty-one pounds, he is the current number one contender to the SWF WOOOOOORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP… ‘THE SUPERIOR ONE,’ TOOOOOOOM FLESHEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!” “Citizen Flesher appears to be in pretty high spirits despite the fact that he was suppose to face Janus here tonight for the SWF World Heavyweight title,” notes Comet. “Why shouldn’t he be?” replies Bobby. “Even if by the grace of God that Johnny Dangerous was somehow able to actually win this match tonight--and rest assured he won’t--Tom is still the number one contender to the World title. This match is just here for Tom to blow off a little steam after the way he was treated on Lockdown—we don’t want him facing Janus without a clear head now do we?” “Well… ” Comet begins, but finally chooses to remain silent, realizing the eventual title match is a loose-loose situation for him and the fans. The lovebirds make their way into the ring, stopping to pose for the heated crowd. Tom cocks his head to the side, holding his chin and smirking while Allison fawns all over his Superior body to the point of nearly sodomizing him in the ring. Finally, she steps back and strips Flesher of his warm-up suit in one fluid motion then leans back in with her mouth gapping wide open and her tongue hanging out. They coarsely kiss, grouping each other and turning the fans stomachs, with Johnny shooting the duo a disturbed look from the far side of the ring. She finally exits the ring, and Tom’s music fades as he briefly stretches out. “I’m wondering how much of a part Allison Onita will play in tonight’s match,” questions Comet. “As we’ve seen many times before, she isn’t the type to just stand idly for the whole evening.” “Please, Comet, Tom doesn’t need her help to win—her job is to simply stand their and clap!” Mark Hebner steps in and calls the two combatants to the middle of the ring, giving a last minute rundown of the rules. His words fall on deaf ears though; Johnny boring a hole through Flesher with his eyes, and the Superior One just standing there, smirking, unimpressed by his opponent. Hebner turns toward the Timekeeper and signals for the bell… DING DING DING!!! “Bells gone,” says Comet, “and this match is underway!” The two men back up from each other and start to circle, sizing their opponent up and searching for an opening… or in Tom’s case, patiently waiting for Johnny to make that first mistake. “I think Citizen Flesher realizes what’s at stake here for the Barracuda,” says Comet, as the two men continue to stay at arms length. “He knows how badly Johnny needs to win this match.” “Well I hope you don’t expect Tom to just lie down for him,” spits Bobby. “He’s not about to catapult Johnny Dangerous into the upper echelons of this company at his expense!” “Nor would I expect Flesher to,” replies Comet, “but Flesher hasn’t a thing to loose here, while on the other hand, the Barracuda has everything to loose. If he makes one mistake, Citizen Flesher could use it to win this match.” Finally, after what seems like an eternity, they suddenly leap towards each other--locking up like true gladiators, fighting for purchase! Flesher, being the stronger of the two, easily manages to overpower the Secret Agent. He grabs the Barracuda’s arm and spin out of the lock up, snapping on a firm hammerlock. Johnny tries to resist, but the Superior One floats around front, pulling him into a front face lock then bottoming out, pulling the Barracuda down to the canvas and trapping the arm. He clenches down as hard as he can, trying to squeeze the life out of Johnny! “The Barracuda’s going to be in some serious trouble here if Flesher turns this into a mat-based match up,” says Comet. “Johnny can’t hope to compete.” “Yet somehow you have this false belief that Johnny can hold a candlestick to Tom,” Riley says. “Just look at it, three seconds into this match and the Superior One is in control!” Johnny grabs onto Flesher’s arm, trying as hard as he can to pull it away as he begins to stand back up… and slowly… but surely, spins out of the headlock. He quickly drops down and tackles Flesher with a single leg take down, putting the Superior One on his hands and knees before pouncing onto of him, attempting to slide his arms around Flesher’s chest and gain position. Unfortunately, Flesher grabs at Johnny’s arm and pushes back to a vertical base, quickly planting the Barracuda back-first into the mat with a simple arm drag. Tom shuffles forward, and once again snaps a headlock onto Johnny Dangerous, squeezing down like a vice on the Secret Agent’s skull, “-and once again, Tom Flesher has regained control with a modified version of his Wet Cement!” exclaims Bobby. “This just proves beyond a shadow of a doubt how outclassed Johnny Dangerous is against the Superior One!” “Johnny may not be a seasoned mat wrestler, but he isn’t about to give up the fight!” snaps Comet. “All he needs to do is refuse to give in—refuse to let Flesher get one in over him.” “I don’t think he has much of an option at this point.” Johnny, seizing the only opening he can find, thrusts his forearm underneath Tom’s chin, forcing him back just far enough… then whips his legs around, looking to scissor the Superior One’s head with them. However, Tom sees it coming a mile away and quickly rolls out of harms reach. Flesher quickly jumps to his feet and gets defensive, but Johnny’s stopped on the other side of the ring—that first bit of adrenalin coursing through his veins. “Come on!” he shouts, beckoning the Superior One to him as the crowd applauds the efforts of both men. “Wow,” marvels Comet. “Operative Dangerous may very well surprise the lot of us here; ending that first exchange with Citizen Flesher in a stalemate.” “Stalemate!?” gasp Bobby. “Johnny barely escaped with his life, and now he has the nerve to try and goad the Superior One on?” Once again they start to circle… then suddenly bolt towards each other! Both men reaching out for a collar-and-elbow tie up… WHAM! Not even looking to lock up, Johnny socks Tom straight in the jaw, rocking the Superior One on his heels and catching him by total surprise! The fans explode with excitement, and as Flesher stumbles back rubbing his jaw, Johnny gives chase, not even giving him a chance to respond. He pulls Flesher’s hand back and quickly rockets a second fist into the Superior One’s jaw, this time knocking him into the ropes. Tom is inadvertently propelled off them, momentarily stunned, and runs right into a spinning elbow that drops him straight to the canvas. The fans roar with glee as the Superior One is floored! “Who the hell does he think he is—manipulating Tom into locking up then going for blows,” snarls Riley. “You call that being a hero!?” “After that first exchange, the Barracuda knows that he can’t out-wrestle Tom Flesher here,” replies Comet. “He isn’t even going to give Citizen Flesher that chance by locking up with him and feeding him a body part!” “Well he certainly isn’t going to out fight him either!” snaps Bobby. “Tom’s no slouch when it comes to hand-to-hand combat! He can certainly slug it out with Johnny Dangerous if need be.” Flesher jumps back to his feet, but before he can get on the defensive Johnny presses his attack. He grabs Tom by the wrist and steps forward, whipping the Superior One across the ring… and back-first into the corner! Tom hits with a sickening crunch, wincing in pain. He staggers a single step out of the corner, only to get knocked back into it from another wild punch! Johnny shoves the Superior One against the post then draws his balled up fist back— “Open those hands, Johnny!” shouts Hebner, reprimanding the Barracuda’s blatantly closed fists, and unintentionally distracting him. Tom sees his opening and immediately takes it, shooting his foot into the Barracuda’s gut with a fierce growl! He quickly steps forward, grabbing Johnny by the straps of his singlet and slings him around into the post, reversing the situation on the Barracuda before cocking his arm back and… SMACK! Slicing Johnny across the cheek with a ferocious backhand, smacking the taste right out of his mouth to an “OOOOOOOH!” from the crowd! “Here comes that ruthless aggression!” Riley shouts with glee. “Johnny’s gone and pissed Tom off now… Boy, is he ever in for it!” Tom fluidly moves from the backhand to a bitch slap… SMACK! Then finally, back again for yet another backhand, but this time with enough force to smack the feathers off a chicken… SMAAAAACK! The last nearly knocking Johnny off his rocker! He stumbles to the side, a hand instinctively shooting to his face, but Flesher grabs him and shoves him back against the post before dropping down, grabbing both ends of the ropes around Johnny and thundering his shoulder into the Secret Agent’s midsection! Dangerous cries out as the wind in his lungs is violently forced out of his pipes, and the Superior One backs off… then thrusts his shoulder back into Johnny’s stomach again…and again…AND AGAIN, totally ignoring Hebner and his threats to begin a count! The crowd fires off a volley of boos, and on the outside, Allison golf-claps her ‘clients’ progression. “As you can see, after capitalizing on a single distraction, Tom has taken complete control of this match,” Riley says. Tom spins around, putting his back to Johnny then reaches back, grabbing the Barracuda by his head and flips him to the canvas with a snapmare. He slides in from behind and quickly grapevines his legs around the Secret Agent’s abdomen, and squeezes down then locks his fingers under Johnny’s chin and arches back on him “By Zeus!” shouts Comet. “It looks like Tom’s having a taffy pull in there with Johnny Dangerous! At this rate, the Barracuda’s going to look like an abused Stretch Armstrong when this match is done!” “You ain’t seen nothing yet,” declares Riley. “Flesher is simply prepping Johnny for the Superior Stretch Beta! Johnny groans in bitter agony as Flesher torques back on him, his abdomen simply burning with searing pain. He can feel himself starting to slowly slip away, but then snaps himself back to reality and quickly shoots his elbow into whatever he can hit on the Superior One. In this case it’s Flesher’s kidney. He hit’s once, and Tom growls then sends another elbow into his side, and another, “-and the Barracuda is starting to fight back against the Superior One,” says Comet. “Firing those elbows directly into Flesher’s side!” Johnny can feel Flesher’s legs loosening with ever hit, and he throws one more elbow back! Tom unravels his legs from Dangerous’ waist, and begins pulling him up while still holding onto Johnny’s chin, opting not to stay there taking shots to his kidney. Both men back to their feet, and Johnny reaches back, grabbing his hands around Flesher’s head then… WHAM! “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!” ... and Johnny sits out, pulling the Superior One down with him, and cracking Flesher’s chin against his shoulder with an improvised stunner! Tom glances off Johnny’s shoulder and pops up to his feet, mindlessly stumbling back across the ring! “And here’s that break that Johnny needed,” says Comet. “If Johnny can capitalize on this he could take control of this match!” Still feeling the heavy effects of being stretched out, Johnny is slow to climb back to his feet. He holds dearly to his stomach, wincing, then makes his way across the ring, heading for the ropes. He hits them and springs back towards Flesher, starting to build some steam! However, the Superior One is no where near as rattled, and he quickly hauls the Barracuda off the mat with a body press… then unloads him onto the top rope by his stomach! The crowd deflates like a balloon as Johnny hangs across the rope, groaning in agony. “Ha,” cackles Riley. “The only one capitalizing is Tom Flesher, as he once again targets that midsection of Johnny!” Johnny peels himself off the rope and staggers backwards, unintentionally walking right into Flesher’s waiting arms. Tom locks his hands around Dangerous’ waist then hoists him off the mat, through the air and into the mat with a German Suplex… WHAM! …and Flesher bridges, holding the Barracuda in place as Hebner slides in to count. ONE!!! TWO!!!! NO!!!!! Johnny rolls to the side, breaking the pin and escaping Flesher’s grip. For a moment he lies on his back, desperately trying to recoup, but the Superior One pounces onto him, planting his forearm across the bridge of Johnny’s nose and grinds down. The Superior One covers him again for… ONE!!! TWO!!!! NO!!!!!! Again Johnny kicks out. He gets back to his feet and Flesher snares him, locking his hands around the Barracuda’s waist once more! Elbows fly backwards – Tom ducks the first, but he isn’t as lucky with a second that catches him right in the temple to an “OOOOOH!” from the crowd. The Superior One is briefly stunned and he releases his hands from Johnny’s waist and staggers backwards, holding his head. “Johnny’s starting to gain some valuable position,” notes Comet. “If he isn’t too badly hurting from those shots to the gut he just might be able to finally turn this one around!” Johnny ignores the nagging pain in his stomach, choosing not to nurse it and instead charges straight for Flesher, looking for a clothesline… WHACK! … and he floors the Superior One, then drops over him for a cover for… ONE!!! TW-NOOOO!!! Flesher easily kicks out, shoving the Barracuda off him as he does. Both men get back to their feet. Johnny grabs onto the sides of Flesher’s head, but Tom suddenly thrusts both palms into the Barracuda’s chest, shoving him back with a tremendous impact! He steps in and chops his hand clean across Johnny’s chest, rocking the Barracuda on his heels! SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” Flesher cocks his arm back, looking to land a second chop, but Johnny quickly shoots a knee into the Superior One’s midsection, dropping him to his knees with the surprise attack. He starts to stand when Johnny slides in, snapping on a side headlock, and clenches down as tight as he can! Johnny then takes off across the ring, pulling the Superior One along for the ride as he heads to the ropes… then leaps out of the ring, clotheslining Tom Flesher against the top rope! “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!” “Finally, daylight at the end of the tunnel!” exclaims Comet. “Johnny Dangerous is really coming alive now, and this is the way he needs to do it—using his speed and agility against the Superior One!” “He might get a few lucky shots, but there is absolutely no way in hell he can win the match!” snaps Riley. “I don’t care how badly Johnny NEEDS to win this match, he isn’t, and ripping off that Macho guy isn’t going to help either!” Flesher drops to his knees and grabs onto his neck with both hands, gagging for air. He starts climbing to his feet, knowing he can’t leave himself open for the Barracuda, and totally unaware of Johnny climbing the turnbuckle behind him. “Watch out, Tommy!” warns Riley. Tom, who’d turned his attention back towards the crowd, swings around in surprise, just in time for Johnny to smash him squarely in the chest with both feet—a dropkick from the turnbuckles! He hits so hard that he drives his opponent straight to the canvas, seemingly with his lights knocked out! Johnny scrambles for the cover. ONE! TWO!! But alas they’re not as Tom thrusts his shoulder up just after two! He starts to shove off the mat, slowly climbing to his feet, but Johnny swoops in from behind, locking his hands around Flesher’s waist and pulling him all the way up. Tom grabs at the Barracuda’s hands, desperately trying to pry them away before Johnny can land a suplex, but the Secret Agent shuffles backwards and jerks the Superior One into perfect place, refusing to give an inch. Finally, Tom offers up an elbow, cranking it into the side of Dangerous’ skull, and whether Johnny wanted to loosen his grip or not he does, and Tom grabs his wrist then spins around to face him. He twists on Johnny’s arm, forcing the Barracuda down then spins behind the Barracuda and locks his hands around his waist. Flesher quickly hauls Johnny into the air, and plants him neck-and-shoulders first into the mat with another German suplex! WHAM! But Flesher doesn’t move, and neither does Johnny. Both men lie motionless on the canvas, feeling the heavy effects of the moves dished out to one another. The crowd rises up with a cheer, but it doesn’t seem to help. “Both men are down,” says Comet, “and the referee is going to utilize the ten count—we could have a draw on our hands here.” “Don’t count on it,” spits Bobby. “Flesher is just taking a short breather, there’s no way he keeps his ass down for ten!” “ONEEEEEEE!” shouts Hebner, stepping forward he raises a single finger into the air, while in the audience a: “Let’s go, Johnny, let’s go!” Clap! Clap! Clap-Clap-Clap! “Let’s go, Johnny, let’s go!” Clap! Clap! Clap-Clap-Clap! “Let’s go, Johnny, let’s go!” Clap! Clap! Clap-Clap-Clap! … chant is rising up. Johnny seemingly stirs, moving his leg up, but it’s not nearly enough. Flesher rolls onto his stomach then slowly crawls over towards Johnny, covering him for as the crowd begins to boo heavily. ONEEE!!! TWOOOO!!!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Johnny kicks out and the crowd explodes into cheers! He staggers to his feet, and the Superior One gets to his. However, Tom hasn’t taken as much abuse as he has given to the Barracuda, and easily ducks a wild swing from Johnny. He cocks his hand back and chops it across the Secret Agent’s chest, rocking him on his heels! SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” Johnny backs himself against the ropes, and Tom shoves back on him then… SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” SMACK! “WHOOOOOOOOOO!” Unloads with a set of eye-watering knife-edged chops, lighting up the Barracuda’s chest! Johnny clutches his chest and drops to his knees, utterly writing in pain. The sight makes the Superior One smile. He turns to the fans and raises his arms out to them, revealing in his complete and total decimation of the upstart Barracuda. They boo, and they boo him ferociously. Flesher simply ignores them and he turns back towards Johnny, mockingly striking a martial arts pose. “BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!” “Total disrespect by the Superior One,” fumes Comet. “He has beaten Johnny every which way but loose—Johnny’s stomach is hurting, his back is hurting, and even his chest has got to be stinging tremendously after that last assault. And now what does Flesher do? He goes for the total humiliation as well!” “What does Barracuda expect to happen when he steps in the ring against Tom Flesher,” replies Bobby. “Johnny is out of his league and all Tom is doing is making sure Johnny Dangerous realizes that!” Johnny slowly stands to his feet, angrily sneering at the Superior One as Flesher snickers at him. He steps forward… then suddenly explodes into a sprint, making a beeline directly for his opponent. Tom swings his arm out for a lariat, but Johnny ducks under and heads for the ropes behind him, picking up some serious steam! He hits the ropes and rockets back, but the Superior One quickly ducks down and hoists Johnny into the air with a body press, sending him crashing into the mat back-first! Tom rushes over to Johnny and drops down, hooking the leg as Hebner slides in to count! ONEEE!!! TWOOO!!!!! NOOOO!!!!!!! To a roaring cheer, Johnny kicks out just before three! He starts to climb to his feet, determined to regain control, but Flesher is ready to finally end this, growing tiresome of the Barracuda’s drive. Flesher sneaks in from behind and clutches his hands around Johnny’s chin then forces him to the mat with a knee to the back! The crowd begins to boo relentlessly, realizing exactly what the Superior One is looking for, “-a Superior Stretch Beta!” announces Bobby, cluing in the casual viewer. “If Tom can get this locked in it’s all over for the Barracuda, nobody has survived this and lived to tell about it.” “Taylor Nicholas Thompson did,” replies Comet. Johnny bellies down on the mat, thanks to having a knee driven into his spine, but he quickly grabs at Flesher’s hands to alleviate the grip before it becomes his death. Flesher snarls at Johnny, slamming his elbow into the back of Dangerous’ skull! Johnny is stunned for a second, and the Superior One reacquires his position around Johnny’s chin, and starts to pull him into a camel clutch! “Come on, Johnny,” urges Comet. “He can’t give up--everything depends on him winning this match!” “You expect him to hold out to one of the deadliest submissions in this federation?” ask Bobby. “You’re expecting more from Johnny than what anybody else around here has been able to do!” “But Citizen Flesher doesn’t have it locked in yet,” shouts Comet, dripping with hope. Johnny knows he hasn’t much time, so he desperately swipes his hands out for the ropes instead of fighting Flesher’s hold… and he grabs on, and holds to the ropes tighter than he ever has in his life! The crowd cheers ecstatically, and Hebner orders the release, but Flesher isn’t willing, determined to break the Barracuda until a count is about to start and he finally gives in. “Son of a bitch,” curses Bobby. “I hope Johnny realizes that he is just asking for more punishment by prolonging this match.” “He hasn’t much of a choice! Johnny has to win here and if he can resist you can bet your bottom dollar that he will!” Flesher pulls Johnny to his feet with an arm wrench then steps forward, whipping him to the corner! Johnny smacks into the turnbuckles back-first, cringing as his spine is crunched by the steel post. He barely looks up in time as Flesher barrels across the ring, “-and here comes Citizen Flesher, looking for an Avalanche!” shouts Comet. NO! Johnny swings his leg up, and smacks the heel of his foot into the Superior One’s forehead! The fans rise up with a solid cheer as Flesher staggers back across the ring, and Johnny rockets out of the corner, making a beeline straight for his foe. Flesher, though somewhat stunned, sees him coming and wildly swings a backhand for the Barracuda, but Johnny ducks under then spins behind the Superior One. He ducks down to shoot the leg and lifts Tom onto his shoulders in a Fireman’s Carry takeover, “-and here comes the MI Slam!” exclaims Comet, but as Johnny begins to pivot, Flesher shoves off while hooking the Barracuda’s arm, flipping JOHNNY to the mat with an arm drag! “By Zeus!” shouts Comet, as Johnny goes tumbling, end over end to the side of the ring. “The Superior One is once again displaying some excellent improvisational skill here--escaping an MI Slam and turning it against the Barracuda!” “About time you realized the skills of the Superior Ring General,” mutters Riley. “Maybe now you’ll realize that Johnny is a doomed soul!” Johnny pops back up to his feet, and just narrowly ducks down in time to avoid Flesher trying to grab onto him. He tries to go behind, but the Superior One spins to face him and unloads with a bitch slap to an “OOOOOOOOH!” from the fans! Johnny stumbles back and Flesher closes in, determined to keep the Barracuda at bay. He reaches for a lock up, but the Secret Agent fakes a punch with his left then smashes his right into the side of Tom’s head! WHAM! The Superior One is stunned just long enough for Johnny to pull his hand back again, and jam his palm straight into Flesher’s face, right between the eyes, with a Shotei Palmstrike that sends Tom rocking on his heels! THWACK! Johnny immediately bears down with a second Shotei then a third, and the Superior One realizes with growing horror that his foe is getting the better of him! THWACK! THWACK! “Finally,” cheers Comet. “It’s about time the Barracuda started using his winning ways against the Superior One! All he ever needed to do in this match is keep moving and keep himself out of Citizen Flesher’s reach, and now he’s taking it straight to the Superior One!” “Using those kung-fu strikes should be illegal,” cries Bobby. “If that’s the only way he can beat Tom than he really hasn’t beaten him in a wrestling match--this is not Teken!” Tom stumbles back and forth, clearly shell-shocked from the mighty blows. Johnny slides in and slings his foot into Flesher’s gut, doubling him over then snakes his arm around the Superior One’s head for a side headlock. He grabs Tom’s near arm and drapes it over his shoulder then reaches down, grabbing Flesher by his waist to haul him off his feet for a vertical suplex! The crowd cheers their approval as Johnny stalls for a moment… holding the Superior One high overhead then finally drops back, ferociously slamming Flesher’s back-and-shoulders against the canvas! WHAM! “A beautiful suplex by Johnny Dangerous,” says Comet. “He also showed some tremendous strength there, proving he can hang with the Superior One.” Johnny lands and keeps his hold on Flesher then whirls his legs to the side, rolling both of them to their feet as the crowd cheers on. He hauls Flesher up with another vertical suplex, only this time there is no stall. Johnny quickly thrusts himself back and practically shatters the Superior One’s spine with the tremendous impact! WHAAAAM!! “We have the rolling vertical’s going!” exclaims Comet. “Operative Dangerous is wisely picking at Flesher’s spine here with his attack. If Johnny can couple that with a tremendous hit of some sort, Flesher might not be able to respond!” “Oh, like what, a Juji-gatame,” says Bobby. “I’d like to see him try, really I would.” Again, Johnny whirls the leg and pulls him and Flesher to their feet, but Flesher bottoms out, making it nearly impossible for Johnny to continue his tirade. He thrusts his knee into the Barracuda’s gut, and Johnny immediately releases the Superior One, dropping to his knees and holding his stomach. Flesher stalks in, though a hand holds dearly to his back and the expression on his face makes it loud and clear that Johnny definitely hit a sore spot with the Superior One’s spine. Tom rushes in, but Johnny somersaults past the Superior One and pops to his feet directly behind him the jumps up, and levels Flesher with a drop kick to the back! Tom staggers to his feet, simply writing in pain, and Johnny flings his foot into Tom’s gut. Johnny rocks Flesher’s ribcage, and Tom doubles over, clenching his midsection and unintentionally leaving himself open for Johnny to apply a reverse standing head scissors to the Superior One’s head. “Wait a second, what’s this!?” shouts Comet, as the fans ignite with an explosive cheer. Johnny reaches back and locks his arms under Flesher’s then rolls over, placing the Superior One upside down against his back as he stands! A second later and Johnny jumps up, sits out… WHAAAAAAAAM!! … AND ABSOLUTELY DRILLS FLESHER, NECK-AND-SHOULDERS FIRST, INTO THE CANVAS WITH A TREMENDOUS VERTEBREAKER, SENDING A TIDAL SHOCKWAVE ALL THE WAY DOWN THE SUPERIOR ONE’S SPINE! “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!” “WILD RIDE!” shouts Comet, “BY ZEUS, A WILD RIDE! JOHNNY DUG INTO HIS FALLEN PARTNER’S BAG OF TRICKS TO TRY AND PUT TOM FLESHER AWAY! THERE’S THAT BIG HIT, ROBERT, THERE’S THAT ONE FATAL MOVE THAT CAN STOP ANYONE DEAD IN THEIR TRACKS, BUT IS IT ENOUGH!?” Johnny reaches back and hooks Flesher’s leg, rearing back on it to firmly plant his shoulders into the canvas as Allision looks on mortified, and Hebner drops to count with the fans chanting out loud! ONEEEEEE!!!! TWOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! THREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! DING DING DING!!! “RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!” “By the ghost of Tom Jones!” exclaims Comet, leaping from his seat. “Johnny Dangerous has won this match—Johnny has won! “After the Flesh” blast from the speakers, but it’s barely heard as the arena explodes into cheers, and not one fan is left sitting—all eyes watching Mark Hebner raise Johnny Dangerous’ hand in victory! Funyon also leaps from his seat and raises the microphone to his lips. “The winner of this bout by pin-fall, ‘THE BARRAAAAAAACUDA’ JOOOOHNNY DAAAAAAAANGEROUUUUS!!!!!!” “What a monumental occasion this is,” says Comet, beaming from ear-to-ear. “Johnny Dangerous came out here and refused to accept anything less than victory, despite everything Citizen Flesher threw at him! He needed to win this match, he had to win this match, and he did! I think the new outfit might have even helped him win by giving him better movement.” “I don’t know why you’re going on about it like this, Comet! It’s not like he won the World Title or anything, he didn’t even win a contendership! No, you see, that prize is still Tom Flesher’s, and this is just a fluke—it’ll never amount to anything!” Bobby crosses his arms, fuming. “Tell that to these fans,” says Comet. “They’ll at least go home happy tonight; something they didn’t think they’d get at the beginning of this match! I’ll give Tom credit though as he dictated the flow of most of the match, and reversed just about everything Johnny threw at him until he gave the Barracuda too much room trying to mock him. If he had of capitalized there this match would have been his.” Allison crawls into the ring to check on the status of Tom, splashing water from her bottle of Dasani over his head and tearfully rubbing his face. On the opposite side of the ring, Johnny holds one arm high into the air while clinging to his abdomen with the other. His pain is great, but on his face he wears a smile, for tonight he knows he has taken one giant step to fulfilling his promise. He took the biggest gamble of his career, and came out on top. Knowing this, he pumps his fist to the crowd one last time… As we fade… to black.
