Hmmm I haven't watched Smackdown in some time, so when I read the caption by Chris Masters name it sure sounds like he showed his balls while invading Smackdown. That will show him not to wear loose shorts while jumping the guardrail. And why do guys like Conway and Christian have negative captions by their names? Doesn't that make anyone ranked below them look stupid for being lower than a person that doesn't even have a positive reason for being ranked the way they are?

Sorry if I'm going off topic, but isn't having another ECW One Night Stand going to diminsh the whole feeling and atmosphere that's supposed to surround the PPV? The first one had that "oh my God it's been so long since I've seen this and it's a one time thing" kind of feeling to it. The second one is going to have a "oh my God this...happened last year and it's not a one time thing anymore" kind of feel. Sure it will be fun, but the atmosphere will be totally different. It was the atmosphere that really made the first ONS so great.

Why vote at all? Won't WWE just pick what they've planned anyway and claim the fans voted for it? I'm waiting for the day in which the fans vote the exact opposite of what WWE wanted to do and when WWE fudges the results the fans start chanting "bullshit".

The Flash episode was actually pretty good and the guy who played him was a lot better than the one who played Aquaman.

I didn't really have a problem with him. I did notice he seemed to have some sort of accent, though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe it was just my TV, but I had a hard time hearing him when he talked. It was like he talked real softly. I could hear everyone else just fine for some reason. Now when he got mad and talked louder it was fine, but when he was just talking normally I had trouble. Plus he wasn't a very good actor.

Cute little scene between Clark and Lois in the barn. Nice to see them foreshadow their relationship a little since so far they've been kind of cold towards each other.

I never understood people who react to the teams in the World Series as if they were going to lose money if the World Series didn't rake in record ratings. Guess what...the people of Houston and, well some of the people from Chicago, will be just fine with this World Series and that's all that matters because it's their teams that are in it. This isn't a TV Show or a Movie that's expected to entertain all. It's a series between two teams who fought to get there and it's meant to entertain the fans of those teams. If non-fans of those teams are entertained by it that's good too, but for the most part this is for the people of Houston and Chicago. You say no one cares about these teams, and I can't speak for Chicago, but I know the people of Houston love this team. No one expects anybody from any other State to care. If it were St. Louis and Chicago I wouldn't care about it. I'd probably watch because I like baseball, but I wouldn't go out of my way to not miss a game of the series. I realize you're upset that your team didn't make it, but to act as if the World Series is ruined because it's Houston vs. Chicago is rediculous.

You know after last night's Astros/Cards game I begin to wonder if the playoffs are a work like the thread title says. Lidge pretty much offered that homerun to Pujols on a silver platter. It was like he wanted him to do it. I'm not saying that they're necessarily fixing whole series' but maybe the networks step in and say, "we'd make more money if this series went 6 games instead of 5. Could you extend it out?" Okay all kidding aside I don't really think it's fixed. I'm just looking for an excuse for the Astros choke last night.

The only way YOU as a fan can sustain anything (one fan is kinda insignificant), is by watching and getting others to watch. Buyrates are left to those who have to boost ratings. Why waste your time with something you have absolutely ZERO control over. Its like me caring about how well Metallica records sell. I dont control it, and I dont have enough sway to significantly impact it, so I sit back and enjoy the music when I can. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually watching and getting others to watch won't effect anything unless you have a Nielsen Box.

Except I'd say this was nothing like The Sickness and definitely improved upon Believe, so I'm not sure where you're coming from. I'm glad that at least these guys are improving with each album. Most bands nowdays either blow their good stuff, which is usually one song, on the first album or they start mediocre and never rise past that level.

You know I always thought Aquaman would make a better villain than a hero. Think about how he could send sharks to attack people, sink ships, command a school of pirrana, stuff like that.
