You guys missed an awesome chat. We managed to come up with a new Tag Team for IZ (who's stats will be up in the stat thread shortly) What? is making the new team. We have new members being made by PRL for his Lightning Crew. And we have Ted Weddy joining IZ within the next few weeks. Also some feuds were set up so the future is bright for IZ. Thanks to everyone who showed up for the chat. It was a pretty good turn out.

I haven't seen IDRM around the board lately either so maybe something is wrong with his net connection?

I think it's a great episode because it sets up the end of the season perfectly. Everything about the story of that episode mirrors what Buffy is going through and it puts her in the frame of mind she needed to kill Angel. Oh and Buffyworld's vid caps are really really dark sometimes.

I don't believe that and it saddens me that people actually believe that. Just look at an older couple happily celebrating their 50th anniversary. They exist and I wish some people could get back to that.

Why must "the greatest love story" be so tragic? Most of what people are listing are tragic stories. Where's one where things actually end happy?

I would never say that Spike/Buffy was the greatest love story though, because I felt it was more of a portrait of the most self destructive relationship you could think of. It made what happened when Spike got his soul even better, because then it was the ultimate sign of wanting to make things better. We can debate on whether Spike really wanted his soul back or not, but I think the demon who did it was supposed to be looking into Spike's "heart" and seeing what he "really" wanted.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that got into Spike/Buffy more. Maybe it's because it had a longer build up or maybe it's because everything that happened in it had a purpose. Angel/Buffy had a lot of filler. You may hate the Season 6 Spike/Buffy stuff, but you can't deny that it was the perfect picture of Buffy's life at that point. It was good storytelling sometimes without saying a word. The infamous "alley scene" basically sums Buffy's life up at that point. Dark, disgusting, and just trying to reach out and grab the one thing that can make you escape. It was all about coping and how we treat ourselves and others when we're in pain.

So is anyone going to actually use the banner?
