Last time a turn really suprised you
LaParkaYourCar replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
Even though she sucks, I never saw Gail Kim's heel turn coming. -
You'd rather be in a large crater in the ground? Or are we talking about going back in time?

He's always in the title hunt because they've had some good storylines. Plus he was champ for awhile there. When he lost it people wanted to see him try and get it back. So why wouldn't they put him in the hunt? They kept him champ until Angle came back where they could have a return feud.

Bizarro has more footage of Blurricane's servantude.

I love Load and Reload, but I'm really starting to hate St. Anger. I will give Disturbed this much. Their second album really improved on some of the faults of the first album (repetitive lyrics, filler songs) I like "Believe" more than I do "The Sickness"

What the?? Were my posts completely removed from this thread??? I wasn't effected by the crash so that shouldn't have happened.
-
Umm...Even Cole mentioned that it was probably a set up when Brock turned on Angle.
-
We're defending out Tag Titles. You'll find out against who soon.
-
I wouldn't include '97 Austin because they actually jumped on that and turned him face instead of keeping him heel and wishing the face pops would just go away. Thing with HHH is most of the time his face pops are because of his Theme Music or because the crowd hates his opponent more than they hate him (i.e. Steiner and Nash)

How come did his birthday pass without him posting?

Was also my least favorite by then since they hit big Are you refering to Nimrod? Insomniac. I really liked Dookie, Warning, and Nimrod I didn't really like Nimrod. Most of the songs felt like filler. Dookie was one of those albums where everything on it felt like a great song. Nothing on that album felt like filler.

Okay, but when the crazy bum rips my eye out to get into the gate I'm suing!

In an effort to help out the more visual people who read OAOAST shows and to just have fun, I have come up with an idea. Make a CAW of your character for your favorite wrestling video game. Then come back here and share with us how you made your caw. You can provide pics or just the stats. If you don't know how or don't want to. You can provide the general look of your character so that others can make OAOAST CAW's and "bring the action home!" I figured it would be a fun thing to do and help us all understand how the characters of the OAOAST look and wrestle. If you're just giving the general look of your character then just give the following: Look (Hair, facial hair, hair color, long/short hair, body size, height, muscular/fat/somewhere in between) Outfit (Pads, what style of tights/pants/shorts, how many pads, what color pads, what color tights/boots/etc.) Moveset (Ground, Air, Grapple, Back Grapple, Running, Etc.) Style (Technical/Cruiser/etc.) For stats try to use 1-10 scale on the usual stat categories used in games I think this will definitely help make reading the shows easier.

Well it wasn't going to be a feud or anything. Just a return match since you guys pinned us. We already have a feud lined up.
-
Well I guess that means a match with you guys is definitely out of the question for next week.
-
Awesome post Rando. But if we get apartments can we just forget the "gated" part? The gate always breaks and you have to either use a card or punch in some numbers and it's just so much of a pain.
-
Well he does act a little more calm than he did when he was Jean Jacket Wearing HHH. Jean Jacket HHH basically grunted all his promos and spit a lot...and I'm not talking about his water spit.
-
I hated that look for HHH. The Jean Jacket was so out of style and just plain ugly. He looked bad in that outift. I don't know how he was supposed to be intimidating when he looked like a fool.
-
I just wish they would let him go all out WCW Jericho style. Tweak it so that he's not so much a coward, but instead he's doing it to get inside his opponent's head. Play it off that he's just a total asshole who wants to make his opponent so pissed that they screw up. I know that they are somewhat trying that in WWE, but they never let him go all out.

Stomp it, twist it, drop knees on it, smash things on it, hit it against the post, etc. Just the little things. The things that would wear down an ankle.
-
I would love to see Kurt target someone's ankle for most of a match and then do an Ankle Lock. There is a lot you could do with that.
-
Angle goes for the Anckle Lock because it's his move. The problem is he doesn't work the ankle. He works the leg. He should start working the ankle.
-
Well in RVD's case it is kind of an excuse. RVD's moveset is what makes him so over. Take that away and it hurts the match. I'm not saying it's a good excuse. Especially since RVD used to use a lot more moves than he does now when he was in ECW.
-
Which is RVD's problem in a nutshell. He doesn't have backup moves to go to when his leg is hurt. People should really start adjusting to RVD instead of having them adjust to him. The announcers can play it off as wrestlers adjusting to RVD's wild style to compete with him.
-
It's been a little of both. And don't worry. Conversations always go off on tangents. That's just the way it goes. Why do people still act surprised when it happens?
