  1. Jesus Christ RRR. How else was he suppose to sell the fucking leg short of not walking at all? He could crawl...Limp like a profesional wRESTLER/Actor/Stuntman learns to do in the first week of training. Look at Savage's way of selling. In the WM8 match agains Flair he limped through the whole thing after being "injured" and the match was still a classic. Look up about 12 posts up when I said this was one of the great examples of selling. Yeah.....that's the whole reason I brought it up again. Remember....I agreed with you then too.

  3. Because thanks to HHH, they know Booker isn't going anywhere. Same with RVD. RVD used to get much bigger reactions. Make him HHH's bitch, keep him off a few PPVs.... now the fans have been trained to know that RVD isn't going anywhere, so it's harder to get enthused about his matches. Bullshit. Bullshit, bullshit, BULLSHIT. You're going to blame Booker T's complete lack of overness on one loss to Triple H? The reason they don't get excited is because he wrestles WCW style throughout the match, (stall, hit move, stall, stall, stall some more, fall down), before hitting his signature moves at the end. Are you sure? Because I remember Booker was getting good reactions at the time. That's the reason they put him in a feud with HHH in the first place. Since then his reactions haven't been so great. But then again that could be because his opponents haven't exactly been barn burners in the ring either.
  4. I think that sums it up right there. WWE will eventually find fault in every person that comes up for a title push if they keep this up. Then who will be left?
  5. But you push off with your legs to jump.
  6. Savage/Flair from WrestleMania 8 is a perfect example of Savage's ability to sell injury and pain.
  7. Boy that wouldn't have buried all the people who couldn't beat HHH for seven months at all, would it. After Goldberg/Kane, you wouldn't have a money match left on Raw. In a strange bit of weirdness I'll agree with Iggy that a squash should never happen in a Major Title Match. It will always make those who came before look bad. Just like when Nash squashed Backlund in 8 seconds after Backlund took Bret Hart to the limit.
  8. I usually am not a Goldberg fan, but even I would feel a little better if Goldberg did win the title. Because it would be something different for once. A non-Kliq World Champ.
  9. Well, Goldberg's winning the title at Summerslam, and Kane's been the focus of the show for the last two months. Isn't that shaking things up? A little bit. As far as Kane. And it's showing in the ratings a little too as far as Kane. Hopefully that's a sign of things to come.
  10. I could ask you the same question about Triple H. HHH had a very good story match with Flair, a *** match with RVD that could have been really good if RVD had any idea how to sell a leg injury, he miraculously dragged a pretty decent effort out of Nash, and he is still the last person in the WWE to have a ***** match. (Summerslam last year) Besides that, he has acting ability, and can cut a real promo that's not completely reliant on catchphrases. Booker T has boring, slow, pointless matches every night. Do you think Booker T even knows what ring psychology is? Whoa! HHH was the last person to have a 5 Star match in WWE? Personally I don't rank his match with HBK at SummerSlam 5 Stars. It dragged a lot in the middle and HBK basically threw all his selling down the drain at the end. What about Angle and Benoit's matches? Any of them come close to the Five Star range? Now I'm NOT saying Five Star exactly because frankly as I said before I didn't even consider HHH/HBK Five star so let's atleast look around for "close to Five Star"
  11. Maybe WWE just needs to take chances!! Freshen things up a little. Do something the fans aren't expecting for once! Right now the fans expect HHH to win all the time and nothing to change. They had the prime chances with RVD and Booker to do something different. Question is...could it be any worse than now? Why not give it a shot with the PROPER build up.
  12. What needs to happen is WWE making some trades with Smackdown to bring over some better opponents since every good opponent on RAW has had their credibility shot. Problem with that is you basically sacrifice that person's credibility for a month's worth of storylines and then you have the same problem again. WWE wants to make HHH a Flair-like legend and that's why they're doing this. Problem is it's not really working.
  13. Once again how do we know so and so wouldn't be a good champ? Not one of them was even given the decency to be booked like a threat. The heat on the match was sucked out before it even got going. You wanna know why no one finds the World Title Prestigious? Because the feuds are all booked to be forgone conclusions.
  14. Where do we get the idea that HHH's opponents suck? Besides Nash and Steiner most of them have been relatively fan favorites (HBK, RVD, Booker T, maybe Kane but he was ruined by the storyline) Out of all of them were any of them booked to look even close to being strong enough to be a threat to HHH's title? Did they suck or were they just booked to look like nobodys?
  15. Bullshit. The marks have been shown that one title has a dominant, stable champion who defends against all comers. The other changes hands every PPV. Every other PPV??? It's changed hands at TWO PPVs. The fans don't care about the World Title because they know by now that Triple H is going to win. He's not elevating himself, the title or his challengers Exactly. Zsasz you'd have a point if every one of HHH's feuds were pushed as if the challenger had a chance in hell at winning the title, but most of them don't. out of all of those who was given a real chance to get over? Who was made to look like they would actually win...thus giving the fans a reason to care? Who was pushed strong against him to put any good heat on the feud at all? RVD...maybe, but even then it was a forgone conclusion. Steiner....ha! Push up contest huh? Nash...no one would have wanted him to go over anyway yet WWE had a freakin HIAC for a rematch thus making the fans care even less
  16. He got cheered over RVD? I don't remember it that way.
  17. The World Title is not prestigious in the fans minds. It's an ego title and even the marks know that.
  18. Well of course he's sold for them, but that's not the same as putting them over. If he didn't sell for them he wouldn't be able to justify himself to anyone in the company.
  19. He isn't exactly helping them either. I think we've already addressed the "numbers" you put up. He's not sinking them, but he hasn't, in the long ass time he's been champ, really made any drastic change in the ratings either. Wouldn't any other champ who was given that much time to make a difference and didnt have his reign ended? Say what? Who views the World Title as more prestigious than the WWE Title?
  20. So you'd say that Goldust and Maven are better because of it? I really don't see them doing anything right now. Maven makes an appearance on RAW once every 3 or 4 months and Goldust is in a storyling with Lance Storm right now. Orton is basically the guy he's finally settled on as what he views as "main event material" after he tossed every credible main event star to the side.
  21. Riiight and this shows me what? Like was said before Kane seems to be the one drawing the numbers. The biggest broken down ratings for the show end up being at the end where most of the Kane stuff has been going on in each of those weeks that you posted ratings for. But alas those numbers still aren't any higher than what WWE has gotten the last couple of years. It always goes between low 3's and low 4's.
  22. I loved HD, but I have one question. How did the Coke Truck fit between the elevated ramp and the guardrail???
  23. 7 years for what? I'm sure you making reference to the Jim Cornette 7 years theory... 7 Years since HBK "passed out" in the ring.
  24. Oh sure now they bleep the F Bomb out of the SummerSlam commercials.
  25. Cue the ominous Cage lowering music!!
