I should know about Spring Stampede 94 it's the first Wrestling PPV I ever saw. Flair/Steamboat hooked me on wrestling. It was an all around great PPV too.

Do you mean GAB 96? No, it's Bash at the Beach 1996. I just put it in my VCR to watch it again. This thread inspired me to watch it again. Kevin Sullivan Vs. Chris Benoit in a Career Vs. Career match. Umm No Bash at the Beach 96 was Benoit/Anderson vs. Sullivan/Giant

Okay I looked it up. You're right. Buff was injured on April 22, 1998 and he ripped the neck brace off and attacked Rick on July 13, 1998.

I must have missed quite a few shows cause it didn't feel that long. I was at college at the time and didn't get to see a lot of shows so that might be why.

I love that when done right wrestling is a work of art...a thing of beauty. People can say all they want about it being fake, but when at it's best it can leave you in awe much more than most "real" sports. A great Flair/Steamboat match can reel me in more than a good football game can.

Yep that one was the reverse of the HBK passing out for me. I thought that Buff Bagwell's was a work because he stood up out of the wheelchair weeks later and attacked Rick Steiner. HBK's I thought was real until years later.

When I first started watching wrestling in 94 I loved the Bret/Owen feud and some other stuff, but once 95 rolled around I started to notice how bad it was getting. I didn't really feel fulfilled again until the nWo storyline started up. I had kept watching throughout 95, but it wasn't as good as what was before and what was to come. In 98 I was watching mostly WWF with my roommates and it was pretty good, but I didn't really start to feel it until late 99 and 2000.

Oh I have the song already. I was just searching this "Big Mother Thruster" thing out of curiosity. And "Beyond the Stars" sounds more like the right name because he actually says that in the song. "Tattoo" doesn't fit the song at all.

May I just chime in and say that writing it "1&Only" looks like an error. You know how sometimes things end up looking like "&blahblah&". It might just be my opinion, but I always liked the basic "One and Only"
