  1. *bump* post wasn't showing up
  2. Is it just me or did they reuse the Demon design from "I Robot You Jane" for the Demon that Giles turned into in "A New Man"
  3. I don't put 6 and 7 before 3, but I do with 2 because most of the season is filler episodes that suck. School Hard, What's My Line 1 & 2, Surprise, Innocence, B B & B, Passion, and Becoming 1 & 2 are the only really good episodes from Season 2. The rest are decent to horrible. I somewhat give honorable mention to Dark Age, Halloween, and Phases, but those aren't enough to make me come back to that Season over and over.
  4. And if you could make the pics smaller that would be nice too. I know this guy was taking hallucinatory pills, but you'd think he'd still feel some pain. I mean damn it's your penis!
  5. Rush Hour was the first DVD I bought.
  6. Here's my list: 3 7 5 6 4 2 1
  7. Ouch La Parka es mi papa's vote got No Pobo'ed! But Deacon fixed it.
  8. That's funny because the more I watch Season 2 the less I like it. I love the overall story and the main episodes that go with that story, but there are just WAY too many throw away episodes in that season that I feel take away from the story.
  9. Then Hollywood would be interested in making a movie called "Being Vince McMahon" Also goes to show that Vince might have homosexual tendecies since he seems to have a thing for "big guys". Well Honky Tonk Man....take it as you will...claims up and down that Vince is trying to play to the gay community all the time. Plus there were the rumors about Vince and HBK, but I doubt those are true.
  10. I don't think we have to be able to make good music ourselves to be able to tell crap when we hear it.
  11. Ugh.......I appreciate plenty. I appreciate a good long match on Smackdown. I appreciate the talented wrestlers in WWE. I appreciate the awesome video packages WWE puts together. Don't tell me I don't appreciate anything anymore! I just call crap when I see it.
  12. Why were they taped so early this week?
  13. So how do you explain DDP dragging a good match out of Goldberg?
  14. So this guy had SD spoilers in his topic heading? But the SD Tapings haven't happened yet?
  15. What's the one where a bunch of gay guys do make overs on straight guys? That one will be pretty bad.
  16. And let's all give lots of good detailed feedback. Everyone deserves to know what people think of their stuff.
  17. The Bizarro/Blurricane match is in GCF now!! Plus there's a promo with it to go before the match.
  18. The fact that Paul only mentions tongues in the Corintian epistles and how it says that those things would pass away makes me think that tongues was a gift that wasn't meant to always be around. It was a gift that covered a special need, but it was also one that could only be passed on when an apostle laid hands on you so that you wouldn't have false teachers running around trying to show authority behind their false teachings. The apostles gave the gift to enough people in that area so that the churches could have people who could speak in tongues. The reasons? One...there wasn't a full Bible like we have now so insights were needed from time to time. Two...false teachers running around. Three...as a sign to prove the teachings because there wasn't written word for them to look at. We have false teachers today, but we have the full Bible to look to to discredit them now.
  19. and it was stated that it was done "not to those who believe but to unbelievers" which is why a translator was needed. Because even when hearing in your language you sometimes don't understand what they mean. And another interesting fact is that tongues are not mentioned in any other epistles. So it might have only been used in certain areas where it was needed.
  20. Another thing is tongues in the new testament church were supposed to be orderly and in turn not a chaotic, random, mess. You go to most of these Churches now and it just comes out of nowhere. Most of the time in the new testament when you see "tongues" it is interchangable with "languages" most of the footnotes say that. They were "always" meaningful messages and not just tongues for the sake of doing tongues. If they weren't meaningful then usually it was someone making stuff up and not doing true tongues.
  21. Thank you Downhome. That's the best way of putting it. I've known some bolder people who actually went as far as going into one of those Churches and actually spoke a real language that not many people knew and someone got up like he was "translating" and of course it wasn't what the guy was saying at all. Later after the service he went up to the guy and told him, "hey I was speaking *such and such language* what were you trying to translate exactly?" and the guy was stunned. He didn't know how to react. Not to mention the true Biblical ability of speaking in tongues was passed on by the apostles through laying of hands, but only the apostles could pass it on. It was a means to show authority to back up the message because of all the false teachers. Once the Bible was complete there was something to base off of and there was no need for proving your message to be true anymore because it was no longer a spoken message.
  22. Why do people care that this thread is still going? Is it really hurting them? Starting another thread would be even worse. Especially as much as we talk about it. That thread would be pretty big within a couple of months. Thus making two big Buffy threads instead of one.
  23. Usually when people get it "wrong" it's not a problem with the Bible, but more people just not wanting to follow what they read because it's "unpopular" so they make up elaborate excuses to explain why they don't have to do it. Or why it doesn't apply. Well no one ever said that what we do as Christians was always going to be "popular". If we only do the popular thing we'll end up not doing half the stuff we're asked to do.
  24. It's called "speaking in tongues"
  25. I'd say he was even overrated in 2000, but I could tolerate him more then. The man has a twisted view of things. He believes what he's doing is right for the business. He's honestly convinced himself that he's helping the business. He's placed himself in a position where he thinks he's the judge of who's worthy to be a main eventer or not and that's NOT his right. He hasn't performed well enough to justify this long of a reign at the top, yet he feels no one else is up to par as a main eventer. And people can say we put too much stock in "news sites", but it's evident in the product. Not to mention even the wrestlers are echoing our statements. Not just in rumors, but in interviews too.
