Ok, there is the RARE solo in Nu Metal, that point has to be taken. Heck there's some stuff about an MP3 going round of a Bass Solo from Distrubted's Bassist, can't prove it's him, but still. But it anit got shit on Myung's work either. Scary thing is, after listening to Mudvayne's first album, if they had/used more musical skill, they'd be getting towards some low level form of Prog. I guess it depends on what is considered "Nu-Metal" I'm still not sure on what all bands are in that genre.

After listening to the whole CD I'd have to say Maroon 5 sounds a little like Chicago without the horns and with just a little light funk mixed in. Don't let "Harder to Breathe" fool you. The rest of the CD sounds like what I described above.

I really wish some people would stop and think about that phrase............umm hello maybe that's why the word "mark" is in the word "smartmark"? I dub this the "duh" comment of the day.

I always liked "Kill Em All" too because of the cool guitar parts. Like how they make it sound like galloping horses in The Four Horsemen. Just little things like that made me really like that album.

Pop-Funk?
