I ended up listening to it quite a bit while around these friends and I'm just not into the screaming and stuff. A little wailing or louder singing is okay with me and maybe the occasional scream. Linkin Park songs just seem to get stale with me way too quick.

Apparently Dr. Dre disagrees. I've heard he thought old Slim was black when he first heard his demos. If so, Dre is a fucking idiot. And really, I don't know how somebody can hate any form of music. It's just music for christs sakes, it doesn't hurt you. But anyway, bad album title "When the prawn blah blah blah etc..."... that one. It serves absolutely no purpose to have an epistle as the name of your record, other than being gimmicky. And Filter's "Title of Record". Pretty lame as well. I hate Country music. Pretty much all of it too. I don't mind rap. I hate the majority of Pop, bubblegum pop, pop punk, pop whatever else there is. The youth of today think they're listening to punk and metal when they're not and most will never know what those true genre's are! It's a travesty!

Those old ladies singing about taking their clothes off made me never wanna see this movie. I know they wouldn't do it, but after hearing Kathy Bates did a nude scene I learned to expect anything. But I might go see it now.

I have two friends that are big Linkin Park fans and they played the new CD for me. Ugh......what a bunch of crap! Every song got worse as the album kept playing. I found myself asking why they liked it so much? Of course one of them is also an Avril fan so I wouldn't say they had good taste to begin with.

I liked S&M. And I like James' singing voice better than his old voice. I also liked Load and Reload. Man I'm weird. But I love their old stuff too. All I need is Ride the Lightning and I'll have all of their albums.

I thought James' vocals on S&M were just fine. Maybe I'm the only one. You can hear the progression of his voice. On ...And Justice for All his voice was almost asking for a change. Some of the songs on that album seemed to be screaming out for just a little more melody in the voice. Especially "Frayed Ends of Sanity"
