Ten Smiling Morons love The Smart Marks.

3 Dogs, A Bichon Frise named Raffi who will soon turn 14. A Maltese named Buddy, 10 and a fairly new Pomeranian puppy named Jesse, 10 months. The Bichon I've had since I was little, but he's recently gone blind and has trouble moving around The maltese is basically my mom's lap pet but he's sweet, and the puppy is just insane. Pomeranians are wild dogs. He's always up for playing or chewing on something, namely my fingers, socks or the 2 older dogs (they sure LOVE that ( ). Otherwise I've had in the past 2 guinea pigs, 2 parakeets, 2 hamsters, 4 hermit crabs and countless goldfish all deceased.

Awesome. There's one monkey off the back. Hoepfully more independents can warm to Bush now.

Crazy Dan, have you ever posted something less than a few lines before? Just curious, because either you're just really well thought out and opinionated every time, or you're the most subtle gimmick poster ever....

For those of us there from the beginning and lived through this stuff... http://www.wrestlecrap.com/tnaearlydays.html And don't forget the Jobber of the Week: Tiny the Timekeeper, and his epic battle with Screech. Sometimes I forget why I supported this company... http://www.wrestlecrap.com/jotw.html

Just got back!!! Oh my god, was that awesome in every way. First, the Meet and Greet: Got to meet all 4 (one at a time), and they took some time with each person to sign, take a picture and chat. I got all 4 to sign my St. Anger cd case (Rob and Kirk on the front, James and Lars on the inside), and my white 2001 Metclub T-shirt. Rob was up first, and shorter than I thought he'd be but with HUGE arms. I asked him if he remembered making "Degradation Trip" with Jerry Cantrell, and he said he did and it was awesome. I asked what Jerry's up to, and he said he's finally gotten himself healthy because he was in rough shape (didn't know this! ) and he's ready to make new music. He struck his crazy metal horn pose with me, and I thanked him. Kirk was next up, and as he signed St. Anger, I said the only that would make it better would be some Kirk Hammet solos, he said: "next album, I promise." Sweet. I also joked with him about their recent appearence on The Jane Pauly show, (Kirk showed her how to play a powerchord on a guitar at the end), and I asked if she's joining the band, and he said "maybe as a backup singer". James was next and he is larger than life. I'm a short person and he's pretty tall, but his whole presence is just huge. He was very nice though, and I asked him about the Presideo recordings they did before they recorded St. Anger that I heard would be released as a soundtrack to the Some Kind Of Monster movie, but he said they decided they shouldn't be released that way and they need to stand on their own. I said I'd love to hear them some day, to hear the outtakes, but he quickly corrected "they're not outtakes, they're full songs", so I commented I liked the song "Temptation" that plays in the movie, and he said he "loved" that one. Lars was last and of course made us wait (we could have caught Godsmack if he didn't take so long!) but once he came in he was all smiles and very nice to everyone always making eye contact and asking everyone how they were. I asked if there were any suprises on tonight's setlist and he said "oh yeah, there's one suprise", which got me quite excited (ended up being The God That Failed), and told him I'd be at the show in Philly on Tuesday, so to play lots of new and different songs that day, so he started joking "ok, just for YOU! We'll play different songs for you". Amazing that it all passed so quickly, but definitely on awesome experience. Arrived just at the end of Godsmack's set, so I can't really comment on them. Metallica though was flat out unbelievable. This is my third time seeing them and it was by far the best. They just had so much energy on the stage it was unreal. The setlist was awesome too, maybe the best they've ever played. They played for a long time too, and after Enter Sandman when they were just throwing out picks and it looked like it was over, a lot of people cleared out, then all of a sudden they start jamming again and James starts making fun of the "people who went to their cars to beat the traffic. You can't get rid of Metallica that easy!" and they busted out Disposable Heroes and Seek and Destroy as encores. Excellent show, had an amazing time. I can't wait to develop the pictures. Here's the setlist: Blackened Fuel Sad But True No Leaf Clover Ride The Lightning The Unforgiven The God That Failed St. Anger I Disappear Creeping Death Fight Fire With Fire -------- Fade To Black Nothing Else Matters Master Of Puppets One Enter Sandman -------- Disposable Heroes Seek And Destroy

Total speculation here, based on the rumors. Maybe, when Guy went down, Tra requested to fight Tito, he was refused because they wanted to feed someone for Tito to look good against rather than challenge him, Tra is insulted and refuses to fight. I don't know, that's the best I've got. I'll be cheering hard for this Patrick Cote guy. Fun fact: Both main events feature young Canadian fighters (St. Pierre and Cote). As for a St. Pierre/Hughes winner, that's really tough. Benoitrulz is right that Hughes was on top for 2 years destroying everyone in his path until he came in under prepared for BJ Penn. I see this as kind of the Welterweight version of Belfort/Couture in that if Hughes can neutralize St. Pierre in the clinch and wrestle him down he can dominate him, but if Hughes leaves himself open, St. Pierre could hit a knockout blow. Would that be an accurate assessment? -
Absolutely digusting, what a scare tactic. If you tell a lie enough.... It's just pathetic being surrounded by fellow college students who already have a media fueled bias against Bush, and hear this stuff without thinking much about it, and when asked why they're voting for Kerry it's "Bush will bring back the draft..." How much more clear than "there will not be a draft under my presidency" can Bush be? God, Kerry/Edwards have run a DIRTY campaign consisting of cheap shots and lies, at least Bush has kept to Kerry's voting record.

Thanks RRR. You always do the trick! Hughes vs. St. Pierre, Tanner vs. Lawler and Trigg vs. Charuto have all got me pumped. I wish Tra Telliman could have fought Tito, since not only would have that been an excellent fight, but it would continue the whole Lion's Den rivalry with Tito, but oh well. I have no idea who this Cote is, and it sounds like he's being set up as job fodder for Tito which is a shame, since I was pretty sure Guy could beat him, but if Cote scores the huge upset I can say I was there when Tito's career died . So Telliman is totally off the show? Why doesn't he fight Eastman? How about Tra's pectoral vs. Eastman's giant forehead gash? Ah, whatever. This should still be good. UFC 49 had a lot of guys I didn't feel too excited about, and it ended up one of the most exciting MMA shows I've ever seen. I guess Hughes vs. St. Pierre is the REAL war of 04. -

Wow, that really sucks for me. I'll be going to the show live, as I got comped tickets, and really wasn't feeling the card as a whole, but seeing Guy fight again was something I was looking forward to. Shoot, can they throw Chuck in there against Tito again? Is Ken Shamrock avaliable? How about Wes Simms, he's a crazy bastard who will fight on a week's notice. RRR, I think I need to read one of your positive, hyped up previews of the show to bring back my faith and excitement in the show! -
This was in the Wrestlecrap mailbag. To say its bizzare would be underselling it. http://www.vincerussoforgiven.com/

Ok, so the Orioles really need to improve their outfield next year. That much is obvious...

Trish becomes the first woman WWE Champion. It's bold isn't it?

They both seemed heavily medicated, Bush on amphetamines and Kerry on valium... of course, I'm not in the most clear state right now either, so who knows?

Even someone like me, who hates basketball, can call it some pretty shitty basketball. I'm baffled, women playing basketball. Next they'll want the right to vote or something...

Eh, Luis, although an amazing fielder, is not an everyday major league starter, so not a shock...

Powerplay: "I don't know if it's the beer talking...but, I love you man!"

Right, Bush has always classified Kerry's military service as commendable, and even said it was "more heroic" than his own. 3rd party ads are a different story. The Republican ticket uses the candidates' records, the Democrats take personal cheapshots...not suprising.

Wait, there's woman's basketball?

Ouch. Well, Larry is but a young pup, he's already showing signs of improvement and might be ready for a breakout year next season...

They're talking about it on MSNBC, Kathy Griffith says Lynn Cheney is a bad parent for being ashamed of having a gay daughter and now she's yelling at Joe Scarborough and not letting him response. What a dense bitch...

RNC sends a 'cease & desist' to Rock the Vote

As a college student, I can attest to how the draft scare tactic, IS an issue. It's disgusting that even after beind debunked by the president outright, students STILL insist that Bush is lying and there will be a draft... -
kkk, how do you know she's lying. I like O'reilly too, but he does seem like the type of guy who'd have skeletons in his closet...

Edwards had a young son that died. If Cheney or Bush wanted to go low they could mention his dead son in some argument about healthcare or whatever, as a counter to Cheney's gay daughter cheapshots. But they don't. Bush and Cheney have more class and compassion than to embarass and upset someone like that... That's a different matter entirely. Mentioning someone's sexual orientation still is less taboo than bringing up the dead Edit: I don't know how else to word that.... From an article about Edward's son: Same standard should apply to Dick Cheney. It's a personal issue to him, that he didn't want to be made a political issue, and chose not to bring it up. It's not appropriate for Edwards/Kerry to do so especially in the smug way they did (i.e. "hey all you hardcore religious Republican, did you know that the Vice President's daughter is GAY?"). If Bush or Cheney wanted to be assholes they could have politicised Edwards' son in an argument for, whatever, auto safety standards, healthcare, whatever. They didn't. That's the point. Kerry and Edwards should be ashamed of themselves. It was a cheapshot. TWICE.
