Saddam plans to run for President of Iraq
Styles replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
CBS News has learned that John Kerry has endorsed Saddam Hussein for president. -
CBS news verifies the indentity of said poster, despite lack of credible sources.

Hmm....Applebees was rated #1 by consumer reports in their category (casual family dining or whatever). I've always liked Applebees, burgers are good and I love the riblets, usually can't finish them since they give you a large portion. So color me a dissenter, I guess.

I would fully support that.
-
The link leads to "page not found"....hmmm CBS stands by the legitimacy of this story, even in the event of missing sources.

I was at that Smackdown, if it was in DC. He attacked Austin with the microphone and then him and Booker did a backstage segment with Vince where they tried to get over their new catchphrase... "Who?"

Wow, it suprised me, but after all the wrestling deaths I've just become numb. Its really a shame, I don't feel anything anymore, like it's not even real. I certainly hope this generation is smarter and learns from the mistakes of the past, because 10 years from now I don't want to be reading the same crap. Anyway, RIP Ray. I always did enjoy him as well, especially as a heel in the late 90s. The Al Snow and Big Show feuds were 2 of the most absurdly funny feuds in wrestling history. The guy was a trooper and worked hard to get over any angle he could, and usually in the most entertaining way possible. Not to mention he was quite the decent wrestler for a man his size. Man, now I am feeling pretty bummed.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Styles replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Because of lack of UFC 50 thread yet, (I'll let RRR handle that), I'll post this here. I just found out I'm going to the show at Trump Plaza! My dad is on some Trump list where they send him free offers for things, and they offered 2 free tickets to the show and a hotel room, and he asked me if I was familiar with something called "War of 04", and he said we could go. I don't think he really understands what it is, but I'll show him some fights before hand. That should be fun. Hopefully the seats are good. Anyone been to a UFC show live before? -
So this makes like 3 in a year? Not bad. They exploded his motorcycle, how badass is that?

What are the most gerrymandered/weirdest
Styles replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
Interesting that Maryland is mentioned twice. My district (the 8th) was recently gerrymandered to include a good chunk of our neighboring county, which is heavily Democratic and minority before the 02 election, which led to the 8 term Republican Congresswoman (almost liberal, and very popular in the disctrict obviously) being unseated by a generally poor candidate who had a D next to his name because the new part of the disctrict wasn't familiar with her. It basically has eliminated the chances for any Republican being elected (which sucks because I really like the candidate this year). -
You make a good point, which is why the argument that the US should cease to support Israel and let them fight their own battles is erroneous. The US has an obligation to protect a free democracy and Jewish homeland in the middle east amongst hostile neighbors that want its destruction, to prevent a Holocaust II situation...

There's no excuse for his wife, though.

Oops, they did it again. This makes, what, 4 in a year? I hope "Hamas leader" comes with a good life insurance policy...

Who cares about them, Mike? As long as France is happy, THAT'S the goal we're looking for.

Why should Bush owe Rather and CBS an exclusive interview that will sure to bring in plenty of viewers, ratings and ad money in prime time? Fuck them. If Rather wants to apologize he can do it without Bush giving them credibility, he owes them nothing.

They come out at night and steal your underpants to create a huge corporation and make tons of money. -=Mike All to line Bush's pockets...

Heh, reminds me of this link I found that gives extensive instructions on tipping on deliveries: www.tipthepizzaguy.com

It makes a good point and sums up the truth about John Edwards "fighting for the truth and justice" myth.

You know who supports Kerry? Klingons. I never trusted those bastards.... And I never will. You know who else supports him? Trial lawyers. Much more creepy and untrustworthy than Klingons... Have you been injured as a result of negligent medical care and looking for just compensation? That guy gives me the creeps...screw it, I'm voting for Nader. I knew I'd carry my home planet. Lost another vote to Ditec....erg Nader.

Do you really think that the terrorists would hide the fact that they can launch missiles like this? I mean, that by definition is a HUGE terror weapon. Why do you think they wouldn't let us know about it if their objective is to terrify us? And it is fairly hard to believe that they have enough hardward to launch a Tomahawk missile and safely guide it in. It's just not hardware you can find lying around. Right, which means they had the cooperation of some country's government (Iraq?), which means, not only would our government want us to know about it, they'd damn sure use it as a slam dunk case for that nation posing a threat on and declaring war on the United States and use it as hard evidence to justify an invasion. So, no that doesn't make any sense either. Try again...

Well, gee, if this was all a conspiracy it sure seems unnecesarry for that plane to be hijacked then. I mean, if the government was just gonna shoot a damn missle at the pentagon, it sure was heartless to have that plane hijacked and then downed in some remote area. Did those people really have to die for this plan to work? And if the plane was going to be hijacked as part of this plot, then why not just fly into the Pentagon, just like the other 2 were flown into the WTC? Boy, George W really is evil....
