The shit is hitting the fan so much with this Asian tour that, to be honest, I'm actually hoping we do sign Michael Owen. If you scan through the thread you'll probably re-find my opinion on him. But, right now, we need a boost. Keane's stormed off, Rio won't sign his contract, Ruud's arguing with Rio, Rooney's kicking some Asian kids around...I take it all back Michael. Come and save us!

It'd better bloody well not! Then again, anything'll beat my contribution last year (ie. nothing and getting squashed by Drek in the deathmatch tourney).

9,402 and I'm done-diddly-done for. -
That's not exactly a strong argument for JBL's push. I agree that at this point RVD and Booker T shouldn't be champion, but guess what? Neither should JBL. And, I agree. I'm not saying JBL should be champion, I'm not saying he should be pushed to the main event. I'm saying, IMO, most of the people who criticise JBL have alternative options that are really not better than the problem.

Wow. Not neccessarily a death knell, but to see someone like Prazak leaving is certainly surprising, considering how long he's been involved with the company. I just hope it's not the beginning of something bigger.

JBL as Uncle Sam owns you all. Admit it. Sure, Bradshaw shouldn't be in the main event. But he's entertaining, he's carriable, he's certainly improved in the ring in that sense because he wasn't even carriable before. He plays his character brilliantly and it's the kind of character that hey can use without getting stale quickly and can change without problem if and when it does. I'd take JBL over 'should be World Champions' Van Dam or Booker right now. Also, fuck Meanie. He dropped a lawsuit on someone he apparantly 'hated' and bitched about for weeks, just so he could get himself a contract. He's a total mark.

What would be the best creative team possible?

It'd help if they got along too. Unless you had, say, Heyman booking RAW and Cornette booking Smackdown to create some real brand competition. -

If HHH had nothing to do with the in-ring side of things, I'm sure he could do a good job. Same with someone like Dusty, with some supervision. The worst booking decisions have nearly all come from people using ideas to further their own careers. Putting someone on board who's active has to be a big no-no, and those on the booking team can't be a part of storyline either. McMahons included. Having friends who are active can't be helped, so they have to make sure they take notice of that too. -
As the saying goes- It's better to be lucky than good.

IWA:MS to run 'Lethal Lottery'

Of those announced, I'm hoping for Mickie/Ian 2 to get drawn most. That or Delirious and Ian. -
So, basically, it's got to be legit that nobody'll know who they're facing which could be very interesting but could also flop, depending on who draws who. Adventurous idea at the least.

Hey, if it gives mouthy shits like me some more material, I say 'gay on'!

Also 0. Although, I've been writing OATTOAST stuff so that's my excuse. -
I'd hit it.

Well, it's in my stats that King will never, ever give Maddix any more than begrudging praise. So he'll always be rooting against Maddix.

I totally agree with WC. I was in the SJL when Thoth was booking, so I know wacky. Ever wrote a match wrestling on stilts? Or a Pie Match? Not to mention the Mouse Trap deal with Annie. I'm plenty wacky.

I thought Lynn' piledriver was Cradle To Grave, not Cradle of Filth.

- 7 people named Seamus. - A potato. - 4 people named Paddy. - A traditional Irish breakfast. - The good looking one from The Corrs. -
Noble actually got a decent-ish hand from the bookers, probably because he had a gimmick that the 'comedy' writers thought they could do something with. I can see him coming back and doing okay. Spanky...best bet is tagging with London. Oh well, at least we get Spanky's theme music back~!

A little more serious feedback... A very Rodez/Wright-heavy show, which is always good. I especially liked the part where Bill Watts morphed into Josie for one line. PK, loved the tag match, you got the interaction just right. Expect the first part of UX by the end of today. The stuff with the NNMX and THR was great. Good building towards the HV Title match, thankfully MMoM wrote another match so the show didn't seem too empty, Alf brings teh hardc0re and I've probably missed something but not a whole lot.

I'm just glad some of us wrote. No NYU, no Zack, no Hoff, no Eski. Main eventers my ass.

Well, he's a luchadore, so maybe that's the reason. *never thought ELM wore a mask*. Anyway: - I can't remember how long ago this was, but at one point, I was struggling to write matches that had any decent phychology. Not much has changed there, but still. So, remembering my stint as wacky JL Euro Champion, I came up with an idea for Landon to basically adopt an impersonator gimmick. So, every week, I'd PM my opponent with the wrestler I wanted to be or just let them choose. My moveset would consist of my finishers, generic lucha moves and every signture spot and taunt of whoever I was impersonating. Needless to say, it got dropped pretty quickly. - I also had the idea for Maddix to disappear for a while and for a mysterious, masked wrestler named "Lantasia" to show up. Who'd, obviously, be Landon under a mask. Everybody would pretend they didn't know who he was, except the heels and King. I even thought about turning up as a n00b (like Mak as Dustin, apparantly)...but the name was too obvious and I couldn't be arsed to think of a better name.

Johnny- Cortez beat me way back before Martial Law actually, so we're 1-1 atm. THE LAS VEGAS CARD Las Vegas Main Event - SWF World Heavyweight Championship Match Ejiro Fasaki © vs. Johnny Dangerous - Ejiro is Rule. Like, literally. And seeing as he's been left off the cards for so long, he'll be glad to finally have a match. I know the feeling. So, Jerry wins. Casino Brawl Landon Maddix vs. Todd Cortez - N/P. I've never been in a casino, only seen the inside of a casino in movies and The Simpsons, don't know the rules to 99% of card games and can't read the map for the 'arena' on my laptop. So, take that as you will. Lady Luck is a Bitch - House Rules Match for the SWF Hardcore Championship Zyon © vs. Marcus Ward vs. Nick "The Hitlist" Blum - Having no idea about the new guys and knowing Zyon is awesome, I go with Zyon. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- THE LONDON CARD London Main Event - Best of Five Final Match - Canadian Deathmatch Toxxic vs. Scott Pretzler © - I don't know whether both are writing to win or not, so that's confusing enough, but I'll say Pretzler's match just nicks it. Wildchild vs. El Luchadore Magnifico III - This time it's personal! - 'Bout time ELM wrote himself to win. SWF International Championship Match - Old School Rules "The Dean of Professional Wrestling" Jay Hawke © vs. Manson - Not just because its Hawke's rules, but because Hawke rules. l000lz0rs. JJ Johnson vs. "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins - Triple J to win.
