There's still some watchable episodes in seasons 10 and 11. Some of them (Sunday, Cruddy Sunday and Saddlesore Galactica for example) are horrible. But there's some watchable enough ones and the odd decent gag. Season 12 is virtually unwatchable. A Tale Of Two Springfields is okay, but the rest are absolutely terrible. The tennis episode, the safari episode, The Computer Wore Menace Shoes, the one with the hobo, the one with the fake beginning that's 5 minutes leading to nothing. The only episodes I can remember seeing from the start of season 13 were the rap ones and Fat Man and Little Boy (where Bart starts making t-shirts) which weren't as bad as I expected. Infact, I thought the Fat Man and Little Boy one was quite good. Anyway, back to the previous discussion. Smithers- "Sir, you know what this means? He is alive." Mr Burns- "You're right Smithers. I guess I owe you a coke."

Franchise...it's always been like that on ITV. It's not as bad as Sky though. 3.00, Man U/Charlton coverage starts. 4.05, game FINALLY kicks off. It's worth seeking out KO times nowadays. Uh, yeah, Chelsea 2-0 tonight. EDIT: So much for that.

^ I have no problem with restholds or 'basic' amateur holds, so long as they mean something. Like you mentioned AmDrag...his match with AJ Styles at ROH Main Event Spectacles had a lot of 'basic' wrestling in it, but a guy like American Dragon can make it mean something. Hell, I don't even have a problem with CM Punk using the headlock frequently in matches because he makes it mean something. Angle/Jannetty didn't.

I'm not a HBK 'fanboy' but I agree with Rrrsh...Michaels/Jannety is hugely overrated. I think someone one here called it a **** match after it happened. It bored me to death. It was slow and full of restholds. Only difference is, Angle comes up with amateur moves for restholds which for some reason makes everyone giddy in excitement. And then, the match gets an extra few points because it was Jannetty's return match and that he looked good in it. I can't remember how many times they cut to a shot of Jannetty in a hold and he had no pain on his face what-so-ever, which bothered me. TV match of the year? Rey/Angle from Japan was the same sort of match and a lot better. Christian/Shelton/Jericho the night after Mania was a great match. Angle/JBL LMS was very good, considering.

Shouldn't mean shit if they build Christian to look like a good wrestler. Obviously, the WWE would like to brainwash everyone into thinking what you just said so their big guys look better but it shouldn't always be cut and dry, biggest guy always wins.

Was Bryce trained at CHIKARA? I'm assuming he's just trained as a ref, but even so, I think it'd be cool to see Bryce become a wrestler for some odd reason.

It's like I said in the other thread. Cena's fans are the kind of people who buy his merchandise, make KEWL~ signs, pop BIG for his entrance...and die as soon as they see him in the ring. Then they pop when he wins. That shouldn't be the fanbase the WWE wants to attract. Trouble is, as long as they buy tickets and merch, I'm sure they don't care. The amount they had to dub in reaction wise was quite frankly embarrassing though. I mean, seriously, this guy's the WWE Champion!?! They sent out Rene Dupree, had Dupree cut a cheap heat promo expecting it to boost Cena's reaction. It was clear the fans were on their feet for the entrance, I'll admit that. During the match though, there must have been 6 or 7 times they put in REALLY loud crowd reactions when the crowd were sat on their hands. It was like that Simpsons' Halloween episode where Kang and Kodus tell the warming up the crowd joke, the canned laughter plays and you see the aliens in the crowd sitting emotionless. "I'm sorry, but my co-host had to borrow a human brain for tonight." Anyway....as it's the SD thread, MNM looked better this week than last. They didn't live up to the board hype personally last week, but they looked pretty good. Which I'm glad about, because hopefully it'll boost the tag 'division'.

Like I say, obviously you haven't seen much of him. How many matches aside from BOTB5 (which was nothing but a CZW spotfest to begin with) have you actually seen Nate Webb in, might I ask? Have you seen any of his matches with CM Punk? Or Matt Sydal? Petey Williams? Quackenbush? They stand out much more than Jack Evans' matches, aside from the fact Evans can OMGFLIPLOTSOFTIMES~! (Don't get me wrong, Evans is very good at what he does, but he's not a better wrestler than Nate.) And you're right, it has nothing to do with Candido. It has to do with you saying Nate Webb should have died because he missed a backflip.

I could maybe post it, if need be. Although it might be a little later than usual, with time difference and my usual laziness. Is Patty not around?

Just like Jack Evans did? How many matches of Nate Webb's have you actually watched? Because I dare say I've watched plenty more than you have, judging from your opinion. And yeah, saying you think a wrestler should have died because you don't like them is real classy, considering what happened the other day. Real classy indeed.

I'd guess that maybe someone'll be organising some sort of tribute show (ala Owen) or dedicating a show to Chris to do something for fans, rather than expecting them to turn up for the funeral. I'd imagine this year's IWA:MS TPI Tournament would be dedicated to Chris at least.

MRSA's a pretty big problem here in Britain too, in hospitals that aren't cleaned the way they should be. A lot of people (not just athletes, but the general public) have died after minor surgeries or just basically time in hospital. It could be that, sadly.

Uh, so yeah, I'm not showing. If I had any idea I'd be booked in a title match for this show, I would have asked to put it back until the next show. But, of course, I wasn't expecting it. So, after struggling to about 1,000 words, I've got no more time to write and end up with a 5 day title reign. Magic.

Dusty needs to start doing these for the TNA PPVs. Nobody'll understand what he's trying to sell, but damned if it wouldn't be entertaining.

Nobody's getting Austin reactions. Watch Mankind/Rock for when Austin comes out, watch Austin vs. Dude at Over The Edge, watch any of the Austin/McMahon skits...nobody's close. Rock, I could maybe agree with. And you're right, most of Rock's overness did come from those things. What happened when creative ran out of them though? He became staler and staler until he was asking people how their lips were. And people turned on him. Until he turned heel and became fresh again. The difference is, Rock could cut it in the ring and had that to carry him when fans turned on him. He was knowledgeable enough and talented enough to change his style when his hand was forced. We'll see if Cena can soon I guess.
