They've both improved a lot. But if you compare Orton's Raw debut and now, he's at least 3x the worker he was. Batista? He's better, yes. But he's still not great. His matches with Jericho were all extremely awkward. I'd still say Orton has improved more in ring than Batista. Outside of the ring though, Batista smokes Orton. And not just because Orton tucks his shirt in all the time.

For the record... I haven't done the whole RP deal for a good few years, so I'm pretty rusty. But back in the day, I was pretty decent. So I'll probably enter that X-Net thing...if only because Toxxic will be entering, because he has to win everything. *could beat Toxxic in an RP competition*

But who gives a fuck? Like Nash, Orton sucks and will never be an Austin, a Rock, or a HHH. Not to repeat what 100 other people in this thread said, but it would be a waste. Orton is infinitely better than Nash. If you dropped the 'hate Orton at all opportunities' attitude, you'd realise that. I've no problems with people saying Orton sucks...so long as they look at things impartially, which is something most people can't seem to do. The moment Orton comes on screen, 'oh this'll suck'. If people looked at things impartially, they'd realise what a joke the 'God Push' comments are. And also, maybe people would remember WHY Orton was a 'horrible' champion. Mainly because of the rushed turn (which killed his heat), Helmsley chopping his legs off and taking the belt from him after a MONTH! Funny to think back to after Backlash, when 90% of the board was on the Orton bandwagon because he threw himself in some tacks. Maybe he should do that again. Maybe he'd be entertaining to the board again?

Why? It's obvious that they've realized that they are both great talents. This is proven by the fact that before, cruiserweights were having what? 3-5 minute matches? Or even shorter squash matches against a heavyweight. Even big matches like Noble vs Mysterio at the Rumble two years ago got like 9 minutes or something. Have you seen how much time they've given them recently? How much more attention is payed to them now? (Mainly London and Akio) (Even if it is on Velocity) They're getting 15-20 minute matches. Just look how long they got in Japan...and I'm sure it wasn't just because Akio is japanese, because well..Look at Funaki and Tajiri's matches. They won, but together they were probaly 10 minutes total. So it's obvious by the fact that another match between the two would be like London/Akio 6? or something like that that they know they can have a great match, that the crowd is actually into. And it's not like the CW title match at WM will really matter...so why wouldnt they? Despite the 'CW conspiracy theory'. You're right. It would be about the 4th or 5th match London and Akio have had. And they have so much faith in them that they've wrestled on Smackdown...how many times? Akio has had no attention paid to himself, outside of Velocity. And London has been forgotten about for months, save for the past two weeks. They can't get on their brand's show. Let alone a SD PPV. Let alone a joint brand PPV. And let alone Wrestlemania.

Val Venis jumped the shark 6 years ago. Chief Morley jumped the shark after about 3 weeks. Hurricane jumped the shark a good 2 years ago. Rosey never even got the chance to jump the shark. Regal's style doesn't fit with 90% of the roster, despite him being a great character. Tajiri needs to go back to the Cruiser Division, because his Raw run has really damaged him. Simon Dean...entertaining character, capable in the ring, never going to be taken seriously. The smartest thing Stevie could do is get out of his contract and work with ROH on a permanant basis, because he's been killed credibility in the WWE. Jannetty, unfortunatly, will get a better reaction than all of them.

London/Akio should be a Ladder Match~! And it should go 30 minutes~! Plus, they should have Long strip Cena of his #1 contendership, and replace him with Eddie and Rey~! And JBL could crash his limo and never make it to the match, which means Eddie vs Rey for the WWE Title~! With Bret Hart as the referee~!

I dunno...they did get some laughs and applause during a couple of their intros w/Gertner that I can remember, if that counts. In the ring though, I agree.

If you can convince those around you, take a ten person "PAUL LONDON" sign. That'll get you noticed. Or a multi purpose one if you have seats on camera, that you can hold up at various points in the match. Stuff like "UNNACCEPTABLE~!", "THAT'S A SHOOT!" or "YAWN".

I think Flair really believes HHH is a great wrestler. Whever he'd hype him so much if HHH didn't have so many connections, who knows.

I was going to pick this up, but thought better of it and rented the new Champions League game (because FIFA Street isn't out yet). The old ones sucked and I'm a diehard Pro Evo fan, but I decided to give it a try. And it impressed me. The 'story mode' season is a very cool feature and the gameplay is better than any of the FIFA franchise I've played in years. So...yeah.

Nah, he'd have still won. It just would have pissed him off.

You know, looking through the thread, half of these were probably deliberatly named as such because they sound corny. Like Hall's "NWO Black and White Edge" and Spanky's "Left Turn At Albequerque". Half of these are so lame they're almost cool. "Shining Wizard" is just lame. Ditto for the "Batista Bomb". Alex Shelley uses some funky submission move called "It Came From Japan". Also, Danny Doring used a top rope legdrop called "The Teabag".

Hardys/E&C vs. Hollys/Too Cool was the only bright spot of SS 99. Not a 'great' match, but it's pretty fun and also, it's the last time I can remember Lawler being entertaining on commentary. Also, the endings of the Team Austin/Team Bischoff and Team Alliance/Team WWF, if only for the crowd heat at the end of both matches. 2003 especially, it was refreshing to hear the crowd reacting so much to a face in peril fightback. Whenever people say 'no right minded male would support HBK', I think of this match.
