Is CZW BotB 4 worth getting? I've not seen CZW in quite a while but most guys I've seen in IWA:MS, just wondering if it's worth a look.
-
*takes the CW title* *uses it as a plate for his dinners* *doesn't bother cleaning it afterwards* Didn't Taamo already do that last year?

I'll take a shot post-Fuck if one's going. If I can figure out what I'd be called if I win. Pentagonal Crown Champion?

SWF Clusterfuck Card!
King Cucaracha replied to Chuck Woolery's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Landon, I know this was back in the day, but the original Clusterfuck was 9,000 words. That's it. I don't remember Stevens' count off-hand, but I believe that it was around 12,000 (Mark, correct me if I'm wrong). Point being, it can be done. You guys are all infinitely talented writers, and I'm sure that you can find a way to write this sort of match in less than 15,000 words. Hell, when I wrote it last year, it was tough for me to get to 12,000 (and this is why I no-showed). The real reason this happened was because of TNT's 'Fuck, and because of Supes' 'Fuck. Yes, they were both great matches, but it's entirely possible that they won on length rather than substance. The word limit is putting the emphasis back on writing a good match, rather than a really fucking long one. Now, let's hope Tom says this more eloquently. Well, I've no problem with the word limit in theory, don't get me wrong. I think maybe it's just me, as I suck at sticking to word limits. I think you'd call me 'over descriptive'. Where-as guys like DubCee and Zack can write as much of a match as me, in about half the words. Still think 15k may be a LITTLE strict, but like I say, I'll give it a try and see how I go. -
The American Syd-ols. As in American Idol. Cause, they're both kinda young and Matthews kinda works the Teen Idol gimmick. Or, Team Flip-Flop.

Clusterfuck predictions~!
King Cucaracha replied to The Ill One's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE Sacred v. "The Franchise" Mak Francis CLUSTERFUCK It won't be me, believe me. My feelings are pretty clear. I'll go with Grappler to repeat. PURE WRESTLING MATCH Dace Night v. Toxxic Come on, he dropped out of the 'Fuck for this, you think he WON'T win? -
SWF Clusterfuck Card!
King Cucaracha replied to Chuck Woolery's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
*Sees Grappler's name* Oh, SHIT! Anyway, I don't want to rant until I've started, but is 15,000 really enough words? TNT's 'Fuck was 24k. Grappler's was 22k. And to be honest, I can't see myself NOT going over 15k. I'm not spending my week doing what I had to do with my World Title match and re-editing lines, chopping sentences and all that crap. I'm not against a word limit. But 15k is, what, three times a midcard match? 20k I could understand, but 15k? For a Rumble AND a triple threat match? Eh, I dunno. Like I say, I'll see how things go. If I can't get a hold of the limit, then I'll maybe promo or something. -
Way to let the team down, man! *has showed*

"The Train" Matt Bloom would have been SO much better.

The RKO is better than it was. And they shouldn't be expected to carry a match with limited experience. That's what the experienced workers are there for. To cover their weaknesses. It's not rocket science. From what I understand, good workers can carry matches, therefore neither are good workers yet. It takes more than just a 'good worker'. You need to be a 'smart worker'. Someone like Benoit couldn't carry matches in the early stages of his career, even if he was a good worker, because carrying matches needs the guy carrying to understand pacing and to have the kind of ring instincts you can only get through ring experience.

It's not rocket science. For the record, Orton's a better wrestler in my eyes, if only because he's making an effort to become better. He's improved as much as Cena has stayed still in his ability. And he's still one of the best bumpers in the company.

Okay, pre ECW Wrestlepalooza '98, the Dudleys hit Dreamer/Sandman with a chair and a cane respectively in an angle. Now, please tell me I'm not hallucinating and that those WERE The Bushwhackers in Dudley shirts standing next to Gertner. And what was the deal? One-shot appearance? Why were they there, what did they do, what event...that sorta stuff.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter 2004 Year-End Result
King Cucaracha replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
OK, I'll debate these. WOTY: I'm no Puro expert but from the little I've seen of Kobashi for this year, I'm not stupid enough to argue. Can't argue too much. Outstanding: Nope. Benoit has been far from 'outstanding'. He's put on good matches, never anything 'spectacular', certainly nothing to rank alongside his best ever. Eddie helped (or carried, whatever) JBL to great matches. I'd put him top. Draw: Kobashi's probably right, yeah. Feud: Joe/Punk for me, closely followed by Orton/Foley. Quite simply, they promoted workers, like good feuds should. For all the times I've groaned at the Benoit conspiracy theories, I wouldn't say the 3 way feud elevated him to his opponent's levels, the way the two I've listed did. Tag: Says a lot that the top WWE team is 6th. I agree with KENTA/Marafuji. AMW have FAR too many votes though. Improved: Agreed. Compared with his Raw debut, Orton is EONS better. Interview: Nobody stood out for me this year, except Foley and JBL, who gets my vote. Charismatic: Eddie, agreed. Technical: I wouldn't call WWE Benoit or any WWE wrestler 'best technical', simply because technical wrestling isn't seen enough in the WWE. Be it T.V time or whatever. I'd put Danielson top. McGuiness should be higher too. Brawler: Benoit over Joe for best brawler? Benoit has the chops, sure, but come on. Other than that, Benoit has a stiff clothesline and maybe his forearms, to the side of the head. But, in the words of CM Punk, "Joe will kick your face". Forearms, chops, punches...it's not like Joe's limited to one strike. Infact, that entire list is suspect. They should have had a 'Striker' or 'Strong Style' award instead of brawler, to avoid confusion between guys like Abyss and guys like B-Boy. Flier: Evans is the best flier. Mysterio and Styles can fly, but don't fly as much...if that makes sense. Overrated: Is HHH overrated? Does anyone RATE Jarrett, PERIOD? Again, bad category. Underrated: See above. Y2J underrated? RVD underrated? No way. Promotion: Eh. WWE sucks so obviously the votes go elsewhere. TV Show: Obviously we don't get all of those over here so RAW wins for me. Shootfighter: How should I know? Worked Match: Haven't seen Kobashi/Akiyama. Joe/Punk wins by default for me. Shootfight: See above. Rookie: Petey, agreed. Non Wrestler: Heyman hasn't done much but I'd still put him top. Best Announcer: Well, Dave Prazak doesn't get on TV, but I don't like Tenay or JR. Tazz wins for me. Worst Announcer: Grisham, by a mile. Show: Haven't seen NOAH 7/10, so can't comment. Worst: I wouldn't say the Bash, as Rey/Chavo and Eddie/JBL were both good. Move: Canadian Destroyer works for me. Batista's spinebuster should be ranked. Disgusting Promo Tactic: Death is worse than miscarraige on the scale for me. Worst TV Show: Bottom Line should win, if that's the one Grisham hosts. Worst Match: Stevie/Tomko wins by a mile. Taker/Heidenreich is too high. It wasn't that bad, just went on for too long. Worst Feud: I kinda liked Kane/Snistky for comedy value, but it's still the worst. Worst Promotion: NJ seems right. Booker: I'm not a big ROH fan but I guess Gabe should win this. Promoter: *shrugs* Best Gimmick: JBL, agreed. Worst Gimmick: Mordecai was pretty bad. -
Well, having scanned through earlier, it looks like a positive show. No DNSes and a decent match (at least) for every one. And, the bookers got everything up on time! Credits go to King for his opener, continuing to show the potential to burst up the card at any time. Uhm, again. Carnage does the smart thing and squashes Dagda, who by all rights should just quit now. Stryke wins. Must be nearly Clusterfuck time. Of course, Johnny enters his usual great performance in the triple threat. There's your darkhorse Clusterfuck bet right there, folks. Stable pride for Cortez over Dace, who I'm guessing is still a little rusty...but still, take nothing away from Cortez. Brutal stuff. And...well, then I end up taking the USJL belt back. Time to dust off those JL belts methinks. There were supposed to be some 'flashbacks' putting me over during the show, but they didn't appear, so what can I say. Except, wow, I guess I should really give this USJL belt to someone who can actually defend it regularly.

Benoit over Joe for best brawler? I'll go through the lot later, but that's the one that seems most wrong to me -
Wrong. 2001 featured weapons when Raven entered. And...there's already a thread in Gen. Wrestling. All the same, I think Cena's winning the Rumble. EDIT: It was 1 1/2 minutes I think.

Oh yeah. Forgot that one.

Marilyn Manson- The Fight Song (Early SJL) Red Hot Chili Peppers- Suck My Kiss (SJL- Pre-Turn and Heel Run) Fozzy- Don'tcha Wanna Be Me? (Early SWF) Incubus- Megalomaniac (Most of 2004/Jan 2005 SWF) ...and, I'm going to be changing it for the 'Fuck too. Either "Boom! Shake The Room" or "U Can't Touch This". Or "Holding Out For A Hero" maybe. (I may have had one between Fozzy and Incubus too, but if I did I sure can't remember it.)

Actually Eddie, RVD and Angle are the 3 guys that are getting the big ratings on SD while that undeserving shitbag JBL is responsible for turning viewers away. While I don't doubt you, do you have any actual proof, except 'Bradshaw is a bad wrestler and Eddie is teh workrate~!' Because you been on this 'Crapshaw' rant for months and months, without anything more than an insult here and an 'RVD should be in his spot' there.

Well, I'm sold. -
Rodez in a 'warm-up' title defence, that should get him mildly toasty before the Palooza. Provided I don't lose everything again.

People who do things are cool by me. Welcome back. -
Ah, cool. Big ups to Taamo

May have been UK exclusive. I've got the tape and the match is the expected dross, of course going to an unclean finish (Savage by DQ IIRC). Can't remember seeing Rampage '92

If anything, it'll give Muzz someone new to get bitter at.
